I'm super disappointed in Mod I'm currently 2 weeks postpartum and decided to treat myself to a pizza and this is what I got! It's missing sauce,and bbq sauce, it came cold and stale! I mean it's bendy! It's soo disgusting there hardly any cheese on it and it literally looks like they took it out of the trash! I will not be ordering from them again. This used to be one of our favorite places to eat before Covid. Since then coming back has not been the same. Pizza is not as good as before. The Italian salad we had was just basically a garbanzo bean salad. Greens weren't fresh, but the biggest complaint was the place was dirty, full of stacked dirty dishes. He informed me that they have changed (whatever that means) I couldn't believe. The cheese portion was very small even though I asked for extra. They have 3 sizes: mini (kids-size), MOD (regular) and mega (double-crust). Pick the dough, add whatever sauce, cheeses, meats, veggies and sauces. Just go down the line Chipotle-style and they'll toss it in the oven by the time it's your turn to pay. It usually never takes more than a couple minutes so you don't have to wait too long to eat! And it's bomb! The pizza is a good size, not too small to leave you hungry and not too big that it makes you feel disgusted with yourself for treating yourself too hard. I order ahead, but one time I'd came a little late and they offered to remake the pizza as it had been sitting (my fault as I was running late). Incredibly nice offer. My interactions with the employees are always pleasant, even during busy nights. If I get there early before the pizza is ready, they apologize for the wait, but unnecessary as I simply got there way ahead of time. This shop is located off of Arlington Avenue near the 91 freeway, next to Starbucks and Freshii. It's spacious but the parking at this location can be a nuisance. I came here during my lunch break and, unfortunately, waited in line longer than I had hoped for. And there were only a handful of guests ahead of me. While the service was slow, the staff was at least kind. I would have at least wanted someone to take the lead in maybe "rushing" those ahead of us, especially since most of the guests in line with me were obviously in suits or uniforms. The Pizza is probably the best out of the fast casual chains, except for the pizza press. The pizza press is the best, but MOD pizza comes a close second place. Blaze, pielogy and the others are in a lower tier. Ingredients at MOD are varied and top notch. They shine with their ingredients like artichoke, Asiago cheese, ricotta cheese, salami, multiple kinds of tomatoes, and more. They even have honey as a finishing sauce. My wife loves the honey. The thicker pizza crust is also a worthwhile upgrade. Very solid. A couple of the pizza makers seemed unfriendly and unhappy to be there, but the others were more customer service oriented. I'm coming back again and if I see better manners from the kids, I'd love to bump this to 5-stars. read more

Although there was no one else in line when I went, they seemed to be in a rush when I was stuck between what to get. They seemed pretty frugal with the ingredients but when I asked for more, they looked annoyed. The ingredients looked pretty fresh but it was when it came out of the oven that I was disappointed. The entire edge of my crust came out burnt! There were burnt black pieces on the edge and even the bottom was burnt that my hands became ashed with black. The broccoli was burnt as well, the top was just black. Ruined my appetite. Overall, I feel like the workers could be more friendly and maybe keep an eye on the oven so the pizzas don't burn! read more

Make my MOD the P-funk, I wants to get funked up! Custom MOD that is, only $9.13 with tax and a bewildering array of toppings. Similar to Pieology and Blazed Fire, MOD is the newcomer to the area with another location in Redlands. I decided to finally give them a try after having a crisis of decision making about what to eat. Sound familiar? Let's see, Middle Eastern, nyet. Burgers? Uh uh. Pasta? Negatory. Pizza? Guess it's been a while, sure... but where? Another decision crisis followed until I figured out MOD was easy to access from where I was coming from. Parking is available but tricky since it shares the same lot as Starbucks. I walked into a rush. "Shit"! I thought, but once you park you're committed sometimes. The wait seemed interminable and I realized that only one girl was firing pizzas and there were about 12 pizzas on the prep table waiting to be cooked. Yikes! I didn't know how but somehow they snapped into gear and quickly dissipated the rush. Every employee was friendly and professional, no panicking at the rush, and I quickly designed my first pizza. Long story short, the girl made good topping suggestions and noted my desire for a slightly crisper crust. I paid and sat down expecting a long wait but it came up quite quickly and exactly how I wanted. I love the crust's texture and taste, different from Blazed. Five stars for customer service! We stopped in here around lunchtime on a Monday during a long road trip with our toddler who was having a tough time. One of the staff in particular- medium build guy with dark hair, possibly the manager- went above and beyond to be friendly and accommodating. (Wish I'd gotten his name!)
