Found these guys on instagram and have been meaning to try their pizza. My daughter and I were headed out for lunch and decided to go in. It took a minute for the gal to say anything from the back. We tried this place out for the second time and bought pizza, buffalo wings, and cheesy bread and were greatly disappointed. The menu is a bit pricey for the quality of the food...The pizza was burnt and hard to bite off, almost like eating cardboard. I've been a few times and I must say, there is a reason why I go back. My son loves there pepperoni poppers. For a picky 2yr old, he will eat the heck out of these. I don't care what anyone else has to say, but there pizza is GOODT!!!! we have tried a few different types of pizza and they both were good. We always finish the leftovers (which is rare for us). Didn't expect it to be this good, but this pepperoni pizza was . The crust was crispy but still soft inside, the cheese was perfectly melted, and the pepperoni had that nice crispy edge without being greasy. Everything just worked together. As you can see, the "Ultimate Pep and Chz" pizza is advertised for $14.99. Fine print states this is for an XL pizza and for Carryout only. I try to place the order online and the price is $24.99. I called the Riverside location and the guy tells me there's nothing he can do and there's no manager on duty that can direct him. I call the Norco location and that guy tells me he's there by himself and doesn't have the authority to override the price. How do these places function with no manager onsite and employees who can't override prices, or at least contact a manger to get some direction? Needless to say I didn't place an order because a $10 jump in price for something that's advertised on your home page is ridiculous. read more

This has been our pizza place for 5 years! The pizza is subpar but it's one of the only ones in the area so we deal with it. The main problem is their delivery system. They use a third party company. The first issue we had is one of their drivers leaving our pizza at our porch on the ground! We called them, and they explained it was a third party. They offered us free pizza, we thought we'd be nice and refused the free pizza because it was out of their control, and not a huge deal to us since we picked up the pizza pretty quickly. The next time we ordered they said the driver would be here in 65min. We planned accordingly but their driver showed up in 30min, and we weren't home yet. We called to them to ask if they could bring the pizza back the next time they're out for deliveries but they refused and said it would be at their store waiting for us. After asking multiple times for them to bring it back, since their driver was 35min early, we had to ask them to cancel the order. Stephane the manager said she was so sorry but that she was going to keep our pizza and our $40. After going back and forth and calling back a second time she finally called the owner who gave her permission to refund our money. Horrible customer service. Great way to lose customers. Guess we should have taken the free pizza. RESPONSE TO STEVEN **Steven your response is inaccurate, your driver called me at 5:29... 35min prior to when I was told it would be delivered. You're smart enough to know I'm not complaining about the pizza being delivered early but that you refused to bring it back at the time quoted, when we were home... and your office manager refused to give us a refund. The food was great! We ordered two pizzas, a plain cheese pizza and bbq pizza, garlic Parmesan wings, 10 piece cheese sticks. My friends and family devoured it! I will say the online ordering experience is a bit lagging, I received an ad on instagram for a few things I did want to try however when led to the website the promotions or combo deals were no longer there. The UX on the website could be rearranged or updated. That being said the service was great, they went over each item I ordered, and when I was checking the cheese pizza I thought I had ordered pepperoni but going over the bill I in fact did not but they were willing to accommodate my mishap which I politely declined. While I waited for my wings the ambiance was calm, a couple of families enjoying their food with one another, the music wasn't too loud, a good place for a dine in experience as it was cleaned and well maintained. I've been ordering from this location online for years and have never had a major issue until today. My order has never taken more than 20 minutes, but this time I waited nearly 50. When I asked the girl at the register for an update, her response was, "I don't know what to tell you, you either wait or you don't." Absolutely unacceptable customer service. When I finally got my order and brought it home, I was even more disappointed. This was easily the worst pizza I've ever received from here, poorly cooked and terrible tasting. Whomever happens to be behind the counter is always good. I have always ordered through their app and have never had a problem with it being hot and ready when I get there. Their ultimate cheese and pepperoni is super yummy! Their Detroit style is quite good but as someone born and raised around Detroit, it is not truly Detroit Stlye. Don't expect Cloverleaf or Buddy's. It is good enough that I have had it twice and will order it again. I plan to venture into some of their other menu items but haven't yet. I use the Riverside location. The definition of "finger licking good" has been restored here at Scratch Pizza. We ordered on line for take out, with a request to eat some of the order "dine in" at La Sierra location. Worked out great. Our order was not only awesome, but the "dine in" was even over the top. We had Med salad, garlic knots, and the fabulous "Garlic Parmesan chicken" that was OMG delicious as was everything else. This chicken was a new experience for us and I was licking fingers thru the whole order of chicken wings. I am 80 yrs old, tasted some of the best chicken in the world and the original Col's chicken that is no longer acceptable to original. Scratch has put the "finger licking flavors" into the wings and not fried, but healthy baked. Service was great , friendly, courteous and constantly stopping by to see if we needed anything else. The 22 mile drive has always been worth it and this day got even better. Take home order was for our 3 neighbors who ask that we get them pizzas from Scratch also. So today, I placed an order at your La Sierra store online for my family and I that are gathering for my father's 89th birthday. Well, long story short we placed the order it was for $108.40 dollars, the order was placed with my dad's information, his name and address, his credit card. I was going to go pick up the $108.40 worth of food, which they stated was a "Large Order." They called me and told me they would not start making the order until my dad in person, along with his ID, and himself showed up in the store. I told him it's not gonna happen. He's in a wheelchair. He can't walk very well and he is gonna be 89 on Tuesday. I explained to them we have the same last name, super UNCOMMON. I even told him I would bring his ID down there or I requested that they FaceTime us so they can see him in person and talk to him which they refuse to do. So needless to say they lost a sale and a customer forever. Super sad for them, because the pizza is good. No more corporate orders either at the other location. Last referral I make either. NO WHERE ELSE ON THE PLANET DOESN'T ALLOW A CREDIT CARD ORDER ONLINE FOR $108.40, and make you drive down there 1st before they start making it. Sad to say I rather go to little Cesar. Pizza had no flavor. Super bland. Very stingy with the packets of cheese and packets of chile flakes. Overall they are very stingy was a lot of ingredients here. I use to love comming here couple years ago, they use to have bottles of vinegar, bottles of olive oil and other condiments. This Scratch is very consistent with the other Scratch in Norco! I'm between both so I can choose my pick. This one does seem to have a little less traffic so the food is ready a little sooner. They've also recently updated their menu with more options and toppings! I always get their cauliflower crust, which is also gluten-free. Pizza #1 bbq sauce, chicken, pineapple, and ricotta cheese! (Yes, ricotta cheese is now an option!) this may be my new favorite combo! Pizza #2 marinara sauce, pepperoni, pineapple, and peppers. Pizza was cooked just right! The pepperonis are large and filled with flavor. (they also offer cashews as a premium topping) Staff was friendly. I placed my order over the phone and was ready when I got there. Parking was easy.
