Opening the pizza box to delicious gluten free stromboli! Angela's pizza II did it!

This place is always accommodating for us, our Daughter and granddaughter are gluten free and they make a gluten free pizza but the girls wanted a gluten free stromboli so I brought the dough in to Angela's pizza II and Greg said yes he would make it. He did a great job and the girls loved the gluten free strimboli. Of course the dough was in sealed prepackaged from the store nothing I made as I am not that savvy. Greg did say the gluten free dough was harder to work with but he did it! Thank you very much Greg and Angela's II pizzeria on Brownsville rd in Feasterville Trevose pa.

Don't get the low rating - ordered two slices and they were not only excellent but great pricing as well.

We waited close to an hour for our entrees while the restaurant continued to fill up. With a hungry toddler, the long delay made it difficult to enjoy the visit. After waiting so long, we ultimately asked to have our food packed to go because staying any longer wasn't practical for our family. We also noticed that several nearby tables appeared to receive their entrees before we did, despite arriving after us, which left us feeling overlooked. As Asian and Puerto Rican customers, this made us wonder whether we were being treated differently. We can't know for certain what caused the delay, but the experience left us feeling unwelcome and overshadowed what should have been an enjoyable meal. (Edit: the food that we took home was delicious and beautifully presented but couldn't overshadow the service and unwelcoming presence)

Another double date with our foodie friend's pick…read more And wow what a pick! A beautifully decorated (both outside and inside) quaint restaurant, with a visible pizza oven. We shared a literally beautiful antipasto for an appetizer. It boasted fresh mozzarella balls, eggplant, artichokes, sweet red peppers, prosciutto, and olives. We had a good and soft loaf of bread with a yummy olive oil and balsamic dip too. Our meals were ALL tremendous! We had pasta dishes - gnocchi marsala and fettuccine with clams - EXCELLENT! I had plenty of sauce left to dip the soft bread into :) The other couple had octopus (appetizer) and seafood atop squid ink pappardelle pasta. They loved their dishes as well. Of course we didn't have room for dessert, but our chocolate wine and other wines were definitely sufficient. BYOB's are great and money saving. This place is a bit of a haul but I hope to get back in the future !

We had heard about La Voglia and decided to try it out! We went on a Friday evening and it wasn't…read moretoo crowded. The restaurant has a warm feel to it and is decorated nicely. They serve a delicious homemade bread that's warm when it's brought the table. In addition, it's accompanied by a dish of olive oil, with balsamic vinegar and what I believed to be a spicy dusting of pepper. It was a little too spicy for me - however, I did like the addition of the balsamic as a change from just olive oil. I would skip the pepper though, unless you like spice. We ordered the Polpette as an appetizer; it's a 'tradition' of mine. If meatballs are on the menu, I will always order them. These lamb, veal and beef meatballs were very good, and the marinara sauce they came in was excellent! The sauce is actually a 'roasted pomodoro' gravy - which is an 'intensified' version of a classic Italian sauce. It's made by roasting the tomatoes at a very high heat and almost caramelizing them. A little feta was added to the sauce, which really highlighted those meatballs!! We split the order - as 5 meatballs is quite a large appetizer! We decided to share two entrees - the Beef Short Ribs and the Lobster Ravioli. I always ask if the short ribs are lean - our server responded they were very lean...and they were. Soft, tender and very flavorful large chunks of beef, with a deliciously rich gravy with mushrooms on a bed a creamy garlic mashed potatoes! It was a superb dish! The website said the Short Ribs were the restaurant's most popular meal. Next, the Lobster Ravioli. The dish was a very 'delicate' one, with a very subtle brandy cream sauce. It had chopped jumbo shrimp and peeled cherry tomatoes with the raviolis. While the sauce tasted fine, it needed 'something' - we added pepper which helped. The raviolis were good - we couldn't taste lobster in the cheese of the raviolis - we assumed it was there. The chopped shrimps though provided a nice additional seafood flavor. I like my raviolis tender - the kind that almost melt in your mouth. The pasta here was firmer - a little more 'al dente', but it was fine. We ended our meal with the Chocolate Mousse. Served in a martini glass, the mousse had a velvety texture with a deep dark chocolate flavor. It was very rich yet light and fluffy; a good choice for dessert!

The quality, flavor, freshness, and portion size were all outstanding. I believe this is a family-owned restaurant, and you can tell they take pride in what they do. The staff is always respectful, friendly, and professional. Even when they're busy, they do a great job getting orders out in a reasonable amount of time. My pickup order included mozzarella sticks, pasta, and two cheesesteaks, and it was ready in about 30 minutes, which I thought was completely appropriate for the size of the order. The restaurant itself is a cozy local spot that is very clean and well maintained. The prices are more than fair considering how fresh the food is, the quality of the ingredients, and the generous portions. I've also tried their pizza, and it's fantastic as well. Fresh, flavorful, and consistently good. The only minor downside is that the parking lot can be a little tight, but that's certainly not the restaurant's fault. I would come back here all the time, and I honestly don't know why more people in Bucks County aren't talking about this place. If you're looking for a great cheesesteak, pizza, or just quality food from people who care about what they serve, Mama Russo's is absolutely worth a visit.

I'm already calling this the best meal of 2026!…read more For starters the ambiance and vibe in the restaurant are top tier! From stunning artwork, to comfortable seating arrangements, along with a few tables that have an open kitchen view. The kitchen is clean and orderly! Now the food. This food belongs on Beard awards watch list, and honestly, you will not find fine dining like this in the suburbs anywhere else. Every plate is clearly carefully crafted and thought through with beautiful culinary elements in every bite. Anyone saying that this menu is pricey doesn't realize that anywhere else, for this quality food, you'd be paying close to double! The service team is well polished however, when I asked for a drink recommendation, they just went down the drink menu, rather than finding out my preferences a guiding me to a selection. They were very attentive with our water refills and any other needs we had. Overall this was an incredible experience and people need not sleep on this restaurant. This chef and his team are producing high end city level dining in the suburbs and I can't wait to go back! Don't skip desserts here! The chef is plating up incredible desserts. This isn't just cherry cheesecake or chocolate lava cakes. The tiramisu was unbelievable and the choix pastry tasted just like the old mister softer specialty!! Special notes, the bruschetta and octopus are top tier apps, the gnudi was incredible, and the handmade pasta was cooked to perfection!

We went on a Friday night a 6pm- We were a party of 4. It took quite sometime for someone to come over and take a drink order. Food was ok -portions meh. The thing that I did not like was -THEY ADD ON A GRATUITY!! We did not realize that and left a tip on top of that. I know restaurants do add a gratuity for usually a larger party but for 4 people! That is insane!! I would definitely not go back. Atmosphere was cold and uninviting, and food was just ok. There are definitely better quality restaurants - who don't add on an automatic gratuity for 4 people. I see someone else in the reviews also complained about that as well. Maybe they should tell you this beforehand. Response from the owner a month ago Hello Tracy. Next to the main door is displayed menu, also all the menus have note about service charge and tax. The food was decent enough nothing worthy of high praise or accolades. It fed us and it was served hot. The pancakes were the star of the show; huge, fluffy and perfectly flavored and cooked. The hash browns however were greasy, gummy and were left barely touched by the end of my meal. In the end it was a disappointment, especially after sitting on our list for so long. Hype chasing works against places more often than not. That said I'd come here again. It's a pretty small place. Casual. Nothing too fancy. Tables are pretty close together. Our order started off with honey drizzled whipped ricotta on crostini. This was my favorite thing we had. I would order this every single time. Very tasty. Truffle fries were good, the right amount of truffle flavor. We split a chicken parm sandwich and a cheese steak. Both very good. Sauce on the parm has a sweet zing. The cheese steak was done in the modern style with the cooper sharp mixed in like a chopped cheese on a seeded roll. I find cheese steaks are either a 5 or a 7. Rarely do they stray outside the curve. This was most definitely on the 7 side. But the hype is a little over blown. What I wish we did was order a pizza. Every pie I saw looked fantastic.

It was superior to the parmigiana dinner platter, whose chicken was a bit dry due to being so thinly malleted and uncovered from lack of a fuller spoonful or two of red gravy. The Rigatoni was also in limited supply on the plate, but did hold the vodka blush well, which was pretty good. Service was exceptional, as our waitress engaged us warmly from welcome to final salutation. She was attentive and clearly took our satisfaction to heart. If it were just for friendliness, this place would have all five stars, but sadly I barely can…read morerate them the two I'm giving them. This place has me questioning, as if I hadn't already - the TikTok influencers, because this place really was not worthy of the praise TikTok has given it. We are headed over to Trevose on the advice of TikTok (hanging my head in shame) to grab a cheesesteak and a slice. The pizza is boasted to be baked on a stone. I'm not sure if that is what caused it to be what it was. It felt like it couldn't decide what it wanted to be.. too thin it to rise into that soft pillowy chew, yet not quite crisp enough to stand proudly on its own. It was the middle child of pizza doughs. Quiet, polite, and easy to over look. The sauce. It was sauce. Not quite to my palate. It was very sweet and reminiscent of Hunts canned sauce. Now the pepperoni, the pepperoni was on point the perfect crispy curly edges with just the right amount of grease puddled within. Onto the cheese steak. When you're talking about Philly steaks it really isn't hard to go wrong but sometimes you have to understand too much of a good thing - is too much of a good thing. There was way too much cheese to the ratio of meat, the meat was chopped way too much, and the gloppy mess was more than the roll could hold. As I'm writing this, I have a little bit of guilt because the guy behind the counter was a true gem super happy, proud and welcoming. If the food had half of his spirit of this guy, this could've easily been a 4 Star place. So next time you're scrolling the ol ticky-tocky. Try and think about why the influencers rave so high. Does it look staged and filmed? What do they have to gain by making that video? Would you really give a bad review to someone giving you a free lunch?
