Convenient location right off of Street Road. I must have passed by Angela's II 1,000 times and never stopped in. There is a good amount of parking out front and plenty of seating inside. The inside is pretty nice, simple and clean. Besides the door needing a cleaning, the bathroom was in tip-top shape . The staff was prompt and helpful on both of my recent visits. On both occasions I ordered slices to eat in house. The Sunday slice options seemed limited compared to when I stopped by during the week. I'm not normally a slice purchaser because I hate to think about how long they've been out, but honestly these pies looked fresh and tasty so I took a chance! The plain cheese was delicious, bit of a sweeter sauce, nice flavor, crispy doughy sauce and just the right amount of cheese. The Brooklyn slice was on point as well. Tasty sauce, fresh perfectly portioned mozzarella and fresh basil. My first trip with two plain slices and a bottle of water was $7.15, second with the three slices and bottle of water came to $11.63. All things being equal that's not a terrible price for a lunch and the slices were large portions. I'd compare the pizza to a Poppi's in Langhorne. It's worth repeating. I can't speak for their other offerings, but I was digging the pizza from here. read more

I'm a born and bred New Yorker. I've had some of the best pizza you can buy. New Yorkers know pizza. I know pizza, real good pizza, John's on Bleeker Street. DeFaro and Totonno's in Brooklyn. Patsy's on 118th street and 1st Ave. I'm not saying this place is like those places but it's the best I could find that comes close to NYC pizza. Their calzones are huge. Stuffed to the gills with filling which is nice. A little heavy on the garlic but if you can tolerate real chopped garlic then you are good to go. A good calzone for sure. The wings are a little overcooked and dry. Definitely get some dipping sauce with them. They're not bad, just left in the fryer a minute or two too long. They have the best pizza in the area as far as I'm concerned. Give them a try. read more

Ordered delivery tonight not good at all. We have lived in the neighborhood for over five years used to order from here all the time. The last few times were not good. Who ever answers there phone does not understand english. Got almost our entire order wrong ?? Its a shame cause the food is decent. Did call them back but the order was still wrong. I was very clear when I spoke but could tell he did not understand me and they took away the option of ordering online. This place is always accommodating for us, our Daughter and granddaughter are gluten free and they make a gluten free pizza but the girls wanted a gluten free stromboli so I brought the dough in to Angela's pizza II and Greg said yes he would make it. He did a great job and the girls loved the gluten free strimboli. Of course the dough was in sealed prepackaged from the store nothing I made as I am not that savvy. Ok. So this place is your typical neighborhood joint. Nothing too special but good in a pinch. Here's what we ordered: Large Plain Pizza--pretty standard, nothing noteworthy. Chef Salad--- all of the lettuce was brown and wilted. We didn't even eat it. It was a waste of money. Mozzarella Sticks--half of the mozzarella sticks didn't have cheese inside. So strange. Anyways, we'd order the pizza again. But only if we were in a pinch. Probably wouldn't order anything else though. read more

Ordered a large plain and large pepperoni. Thin, even crust has a nice flavor. Slightly sweet and not yeasty. Nice reliable sauce. The cheese is fair and not plastic like low quality mozzarella can be. If gently done, it reheats nicely. I crave their "garlic" pizza. Once in a blue moon they add too much garlic, but most of the time it's perfect. Hope they don't start using shitty ingredients to turn a larger profit as so many local restaurants are folding. read more

Angela's is the only pizza place in Feasterville that I've truly frequented, and over the years their service has stayed consistent. If I order a large pizza from there, I know exactly what I'm getting, and I commend them for that. That being said, the pizzas are decent, but very overpriced. So much so that I've pretty much stopped going there because I get much more elsewhere. Despite the prices, I will say that they are by far the best local pizza joint in Feasterville, but that's not saying much. read more

First of all, this is a PIZZA shoppe. You don't order a lasagna or Whiz there. Bensalem lacks good pizzerias. Good thing there is one in Trevose. The crust has good hand-rolled body: Like bread not too fluffy. I should have followed my first impression when I went in for the first and last time today. The restaurant was empty minus the employees and one other customer. There was a young lady seated having her lunch and two other employees seated at another table. The atmosphere felt like a mercy mission for welcoming service. Because I'd never been there, I didn't know if I had to wait to be seated so I asked and was told to take a menu and have a seat. After placing my order for eggplant parm and blue cheese dressing, I sat for about fifteen minutes and waited for the salad. When it didn't come, I went to the counter to ask if I could have the salad before the entree, the waitress/hostess implied that she was just about to check. I honestly think she forgot to place the order. I think she may have been a little preoccupied or upset prior to my arrival. Her demeanor was cold and not pleasant at all. Because I've been in the service industry I understand that there are things that happen behind the scenes that may not have anything to do with the customer at all. Based on that, I was able to keep my smiling face all the while I was starving. By the time the entree arrived she seemed more calm and welcoming. Yep, she got a generous tip anyway. The manager, I presumed was seated in the dining area most all the time while I was never. He never said hello, boo, or bye. I can only imagine his employees are overwhelmed working with someone who's micromanaging and spoiling their productivity while he's breathing down their backs. I hope he reads this review because he should at least speak to his customers when he's seated two table overs in an empty restaurant. That's a bad example for your employees to follow. If you can't smile at least say bye as they are heaving your restaurant. One time for me was more than enough. Now, on to the food: the eggplant parm was huge, probably enough to feed a family of four. Taste not very memorable but ok. The side salad was very basic with chunks of bell peppers, one cherry tomato and sliced cucumbers. I was hungry and was able to eat most of it before my entree arrived. I can't speak on the pizza but noticed several people picking up carry out orders. I'll never know because I don't like spending money anywhere if I am not a valued patron. As much as we love their pizza, it was actually a nice experience we had with them a few weeks ago, that made me decide to write a nice review. Angela's is usually our "go-to" pizza place. They use quality ingredients, the prices are about average, and their pies are nice & crispy, but what led me to write a review was from an experience a few weeks ago, when we ordered a pie with pepperoni. When it was delivered however, they mistakenly gave us half pepperoni, half plain. In all our time of ordering from them, they had never made a mistake before, so we didn't think too much of it, & chalked it up to a simple misunderstanding. They must have realized their mistake however, because about a half hour later, the delivery driver stopped by with a 2nd pie with full pepperoni for free & apologized for the confusion! We just thought providing a 2nd pie on the house, to fix the mistake was a nice touch & it showed that they cared about their customers! I'd highly recommend them! read more

There is quality and then there is crap! I did it again! I tried a pizza shop that I have passed so many times. Here's the story. If I had written this review last night, they would have one star for the worst ground beef, bacon and onion pizza we have ever had! The meat was barely chewable, the pizza crust was soggy from what appeared to be un-drained canned tomatoes dumped on it and when you picked it up, you needed to quickly fold or you would have lost all the toppings. We threw that pizza in the trash and that is a first! If I had a dog, I wouldn't have even given it to him. Now, it is breakfast time and I have an entire white pizza with spinach, mushrooms, fresh garlic, onions, black olives, green peppers and both Parmesan and Mozzarella cheeses. They call it the Four Seasons and rightfully so. This pizza is probably the best pizza I have ever had in my life! The crust is a perfectly, buttery flavored thin crust. The mushrooms are fresh and sauteed very lightly, not canned, I hate canned mushrooms! The spinach is fresh and so green and they know how to add just the right amount of diced green pepper without killing it. The cheeses are real and fresh. I am in breakfast heaven. This is a family owned Pizza Shop and they always seem to have business. They also serve pastas, salads, sandwiches and entrees. I added the fried mushrooms on the side and they were good. One star for the crappiest meat pizza I have ever had in my life and Five stars for the best quality white pizza I have ever had in my life. I live in Bensalem and I ordered from this restaurant for the first time tonight. I placed my order and was told delivery was 30-40 minutes for my pizza and garlic bread. One hour after I placed my order, I called the restaurant to get a status of my order. The hostess said the the driver left over 20 minutes ago and would be here any minute. About 10 minutes after I called, the delivery person arrived. Long story short, after waiting over an hour for a pizza and garlic bread I paid $20 for a cold dinner. The pizza was so cold that the cheese turned into one rubbery circle. I cannot give this restaurant a fair review on taste since I barely ate the pizza even after reheating it. However, if you like hot (or warm) pizza I would suggest ordering elsewhere. read more

Stopped here on a Saturday night for light dinner. First impression was not good. My daughter went to use the rest room and it was not clean. General appearance of the dining room was dated and worn. I ordered a panini that had spinach on it that was loaded with garlic. There were only 2 slices of mozzarella. I asked for no roasted peppers and it came with the peppers. My daughter order the grilled chicken platter. She got a grilled chicken sandwich on a kaiser roll. The chicken was nervy, did not taste grilled, and was also loaded with garlic.. I am writing this review because my dad has been a long time customer at angela's and takes the drive to get a traditional Stromboli, not a pizatta which is a personal one. the same woman has been working the counter as far back as my dad knows and even said to me when I picked my dads food up one time ..."I know your dad he's always in here getting his stromboli" well when he went the other day, not only did this lady argue with him about his order...she also told him never to come back again......when my dad said you know me I always get the traditional stromboli even has the price down to the cents, she then replied "I don't know you, I don't know what you're talking about" my dad just brushed it off and took his food and left. She then CALLED my fathers cellphone 2 minutes later to tell him she gave him the wrong order and to come back and hand the box to the customers that are waiting for their two slices of pizza, which SHE messed up. She didn't even make the guys new slices, just waited for my dad to come back and hand them their box. ew. anyway the point of my review is ...that woman should be fired, she has poor customer service skills, clearly doesn't know how to take or give out an order, and told a long time customer to never come back again when SHE was in the wrong . unbelievable. read more

I have been coming to this place for about 7 years and have seen it transition from just a regular take-out pizza shop into an excellent dine-in restaurant with take-out options. When you walk into the place, the owner greets you by name, the staff are neat and clean-cut, and the place is as clean as a hospital. On one side, there are regular pizza shop tables, and on the other, there are restaurant tables where a large family can have a nice dinner (it's even BYOB). Sure, the prices are slightly higher than the neighboring pizza shops, but as with anything in life, you get what you pay for. I highly recommend for true pizza connoisseurs! read more

The food was very good, however the service was something else! We went durig the day, the server we had was not very knowledgeable. She said she was new, so at first I understood. However, we found out she has been there for 3 months! For most people, after 90 days/3 months, if you don't know basic knowledge at a job, you are let go, but she was young, so I will cut her some slack. I guess the experience overall wasn't too bad, food was good, it just took long, and the waitress needs more training or they just need a new waitress! read more
