I'm a Medical Sales Rep and have placed a fair number of catering orders with Crespo's this year and in 2020 for physician office lunches. That all ends now! I was completely embarrassed and mad about a large order for 20 people that was delivered to a Drs. office last week. The chicken parm and pasta were ok, I think since I had no complaints about that. BUT, I ordered a dessert tray with cannolis, cakes, tiramisu, and cream puffs. When I walked into the lunchroom to meet with the Drs., the staff yelled out "Don't eat the cannolis!!!" Turns out the cannolis were spoiled and not edible like they were made the night before and left unrefrigerated? This incident spoiled the ENTIRE lunch and return on investment = $0.00 Although I got a FULL refund from ezCater, I didn't move any business with the Dr's office, so it was a waste of my time AND theirs! I ordered a ham, salami, and cheese sub. The total cost, with the side of mac salad or fries, was 13.99. It's the worst sub I have ever had. the bread was stale and it hathe bare minimum of meat. maybe 2 pieces of salami and a piece of ham and 2 pieces of cheese. Making it as cheap as possible and charging as much as possible. I could go to Lenny's in Point Pleasant and spend $15-$17 and get three times the sub. The bread is fresh, and the meat is piled high. I grew up in Levittown and had just about every pizza place in the area. Crespo's is by far superior. Their marinara sauce is so good that I often stop in to pick up a container of just that. Their dinners are great (my favorite is the chicken parm) and their pizza is unmatched (my favorite is the vodka penne pizza ordered well done). We were pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere, service and food at Crespo's. It's quite cozy inside and also very apparent they made an effort to make it look like a small restaurant rather than a bare bones pizza joint. The owner, Diego was very friendly and welcoming. He sat us in one of their comfortable booths and gave us their surprisingly extensive menu. Crespo's is not just pizza. They have a wide range of entrees, salads and sandwiches as well as some healthy options like grilled chicken and vegetables. It was low carb day for me so I had 2 side orders of grilled chicken and 1 side of sautéed broccoli rabe. Fantastic!! Generous portion of grilled chicken with perfectly cooked broccoli rabe. Unlike other places I've been their sautéed veggies are not swimming in oil. Both the chicken and rabe were just right on the oil and very flavorful. My husband had the meat lover's pizza. The pie was piled high with pepperoni, sausage, bacon, onion, peppers and mushrooms. It had a thin yet sturdy crust which held the weight of all the toppings. My husband could pick up each slice and did not need a knife and fork. Diego took great care of us. Even though the kitchen was busy readying take-out orders, Diego came to our table frequently to make sure we had everything we needed. Stopped in for a late afternoon slice to hold off hunger for a few hours. Nice shop with a half dozen booths and broad Italian menu. HDTVs playing Mexican talk shows. I asked for a slice of sausage pie "well done," from those under the display glass. It arrived hot and steaming, and certainly what I asked for. Sadly, all the heat had not helped rigidify the chassis. It still collapsed under its own weight. The crust was soggy from an approach that put too much on top and didn't allow enough moisture to escape in the oven. The taste was there, but the texture was AWOL. There aren't many pizza joint in this area that understand the right balance between ingredients and strong crust that results in a pie that is crisp, tasty and light on its feet. Loading up on cheese at the expense of sauce and other toppings just misses the mark. The secret is that when it comes to great pizza, less is more. read more

Crespo Fratelli's another entry in the quest to find quality food that delivers to my work, and another under-performer. I ordered directly through Yelp via Eat24 around 4:30, food arrived 5:10-15, average. Ordered a large meat combination pizza (Pepperoni, sausage, meatballs, and bacon.) and an order of mega fries, Pizza was averagely priced, fries were crazy cheap. (3.99, Legit) Pizza was alright, texture was way off with the crust being far too thin and dried out, and the center of the pie, loose and sagging. (No one likes a sagging tip.) Sauced used was quite good, a mild spicing that pairs well with the meats chosen- sausage here was very flavorful- and well cooked, "meatballs" were slices of meatball which could easily be mistaken as round cuts of sausage- okay but less of a kick than the sausage for sure, pepperoni was average, with bacon being the ironic odd man out. Toppings were evenly distributed, not very loaded on but that's okay because they packed a lot of flavor. The bacon on the pizza as well as the fries was under-done, some fatty bits as well, not the hallmark light crunch of properly cooked bacon, wiz was average as well, and the tin wasn't exactly packed with fries, but $4 feels fair. Fries themselves were fairly unremarkable. Crespo's pizza toppings are fantastic, but the pizza itself felt lacking, this maybe it's more of a pasta and meat kind of place than a pizzeria- ill try their other offerings and update if opinions change. Best food in the area! My coworkers and I order lunch out a few times a week. We found this place online by chance and decided to give it a try, after yet another disappointing experience from Uncle Charlie's. Amazing! Pizza, panini, fries... everything is delicious! Good, fresh salads but not so great customer service. They overcharge for delivery and are on the pricier side overall. They were very rude when I tried to place an order for delivery, after I had given them catering business 3+ times prior, and knew the quality of the food. Basically, was refused service, because they claimed they had an order minimum and a large delivery fee. When I called back ready to place it, they said it wasn't worth it and wouldn't place my order. While it may be good food, I'd much rather give my business to another local Italian restaurant that is accommodating and appreciative. I've tried this place 6 or 7 times now and overall it's good quality pizza. With the exception of one pie--"The Levittown Pie" this is an explosion of flavors!!! For me their "Pizza de la Casa" is one of, if not THE best pies in the area. I'll be back to try other parts of the menu. read more

He offered to send me another pie. I said for what! So i can wait even longer to eat! So he says he will give me a free pie next time i call. I said ok. So two nights later i call and ask to speak to the owner. I said I'd like to take you up on that free pie. He said he never offered me a free pie but a discounted one! Ha! Flat out lied to me! Ordered off of grub hub. Delivery came earlier than estimated! Ordered cheesesteaks, chicken Francesco and vodka penne. I'm always hesitant ordering Italian dishes from pizza places because past experiences have been dismal and not authentic nor fresh. This was different. The chicken Francesco was my favorite. A bed of capellini pasta topped with grilled chicken eggplant spinach and ricotta with a very very light chunky marinara. Spinach was fresh, ricotta sweet and everything cooked great. It comes with a soup or salad and home made bread. I opted for the salad and I asked for ranch and I got balsamic vinegarette instead. I'm picky about balsamic dressing but this was fabulous and great BUT I didn't get the homemade bread THEY FORGOT IT! This was disappointing because I love a good piece of bread with a pasta dish and it is advertised with it and built into the price and I wasn't going to call and make them bring a piece of bread out even though it was their bad. Penne vodka was great as well. It is heavy so I only had a bite or two. We ordered the kids version and it was still too much for my daughter - kid portion generous. I like lighter Italian dishes as pasta is filling enough. But by all means everyone should try it. The prosciutto in it tasted great. Cheesesteaks were a complete miss. We ordered them to be safe in case pasta dishes were a disappointment so they are sitting in the fridge with only a bite or two taken out. The bread is not the right bread for a cheesesteak and the actual steak itself just didn't taste like your average Philly. But from here on out I will order their Italian dishes. Maybe I'll be brave and order seafood pasta dish always a skeptic when ordering that type stuff from a strip mall pizza joint but so far I could tell their ingredients were fresh and flavors were spot on. read more

I suppose it is because they were closing but the Calamari appetizer portion I received was pitiful and barely enough for two the Chicken Romano pizza pie was very sloppy and half the sauce and cheese were off the pizza and on the box. On the up side, everything tasted fantastic and the Calamari that was there was very tender and definitely not chewy. read more

Wow! I've now been here about 6 times total and I can say this place is amazing. First couple times I tried their pizza which was very good. I would say that the plain cheese pie is a 4/5, but the pizza with toppings and buffalo chicken I had was a 5/5. To be honest I rarely explore the dinner menus at "pizzeria's" as I usually stick to the pizza, however reading previous reviews I just had to. I must say that this place has THE BEST Italian dinners!!! I've had the stuffed chicken (special order not on menu *pic on yelp), the crab raviolis and vodka rigatoni. I've been to expensive Italian restaurants that aren't nearly as good as this local pizzeria. They must use top notch ingredients. Those 3 dinners I mentioned all came with hot out of the oven bread and a good soup. I would've expected just a bread that was fresh a couple days ago and just toasted like other shops include. I look forward to exploring the menu more often. This place has now become my local fave. I'm glad that I noticed it when I was headed in to breakfast at Maryanne's right next door a few months back. I used to order from here through Grubhub all the time; I even had a go-to order and everything. However, I ordered and paid for a 2-Liter soda one night and the delivery guy forgot it, and promised to give me credit for it, whatever that means. I didn't pay that much attention to it because it was only $3 and the delivery guy said he would take care of it. But I never received a refund or anything for it, so when I went to place another order tonight, I called the restaurant and told them what happened the last time. The girl on the phone said ok, and then called Grubhub, claiming that I never placed an order from this restaurant before (is that a joke?! this restaurant is one of the only 2 restaurants I order from through Grubhub, and it clearly shows on my order history on the app) and they were trying to claim that I was scamming them out of a soda. A THREE DOLLAR SODA! All this after the incompetent delivery guy left a mess on my front porch the last time because the mango habanero pizza I ordered was leaking sauce everywhere (which he never even apologized for; all I got was a stupid, blank stare).
