If you order pastrami, i suggest asking them to leave it dry otherwise they drench your bread in the liquid the meat was in- leaving your sandwich soggy :( sandwiches are huge and you can split a small with someone-- if you have the appetite of an ordinary human lol. I give them two stars only because the food is very good but their customer service is lacking to say the least. There's always a long wait even if I call in my order ahead of time and even when the place isn't busy. They messed up my pizza order and when I asked to be compensated (I had already picked it up and was home by the time I realized they had messed up my order) they said no even though it was their mistake (they even admitted to it). When I drove back to pick up the pizza I had originally ordered the girls gave me dirty looks and were quite rude. I'd say I won't return but I'm sure I will because I love their pizza. read more

Okay, so the only reason why they are not getting 5 stars is because when the workers prepare your food they do not wear gloves!! It's just a sanitary thing and I truly believe that most people do care that a person who the don't know ( maybe they are really sick, been in the bathroom for an hour.....) should wear gloves. It really should be a rule, in fact, that gloves are worn always when preparing food especially directly in front of the customer. The sandwiches are really great and big as well. This is my second time coming here. The food is amazing.The prices are right on time! The cold cut is out of this world. Just watching them make it. Makes you say wow! That looks good. I highly recommend this establishment! The staff is so nice and helpful. The line can get kind of long, but trust me. Its for a reason and you will stand in the line happily just knowing that your food is going to be great. Next time I think I am going to try the meatball. The food is ok at best. My biggest problem with this small business is the treatment of their employees as told by a friend who works at Capri Deli. This all came about when I saw one of the owners harassing and verbally abusing an employee in front of customers. There are multiple labor codes being broken including lunch breaks, overtime not being paid out etc. I refuse to support a business who does not treat their associates with respect. Great place for all your deli needs... Great food along with great service, cant get much better than this. They have a great selection of fresh meats and cheese and plenty of To-Go items as well. I highly recommend the roast beef grinder, as its my #1 go to whenever I come in for one of their delicious sandwiches. I've come to this deli for years. The food is good and staff usually very friendly. Today when I ordered a lasagne with an antipasto salad for $11.00 I was told for an extra ranch dressing it would be $1.49! Outrageous. We had just ordered a large sandwich, drink and Mac salad, in addition to the lasagne. $30.00 plus dollars and now they wanted to charge an additional $1.49. We'll be taking our business elsewhere from now on. I can't abide cheapness when they're so many options beside Capri Deli. As my mom used to say " penny wise, pound foolish". Best Sandwiches around! Me and my family have been going to Capri for over 15 years. Everything we order there is great! I LOVE the cookies! My favorite sandwiches are cold cut combo and roast beef. You can also get Italian meats, cheeses and food products there. It's a pretty small place so we always pick up the food and take it home. Their yardstick sandwiches are great for parties. My dad has been taking me since I was 4 years old and I am now 23. My family LOVES this place and I completely understand why. They have the best sandwiches. You know they have good food when you see firemen and cops go in all the time!!! It is just that good. I remember when I was a little kid they used to have a bucket come down from the ceiling with a rope and it had toys for kids!! Capri deli is very good. The sandwiches are very filling and tasty. I opt for the turkey. The anti pasta salad is great too with their house dressing which is like a combo of Italian and ranch. Whomever was working your late shift tonight should be fired and ashamed of themselves. My husband was there and witnessed 2 employees one male and one female tell 2 gentlemen that they could not place an order because it was after 7 p.m. but they were inside of your establishment before the door was locked. He also witnessed a lady who placed a telephone order for 4 sandwiches and when she came to pick them up they told her they didn't make them because she did not arrive before 7 p.m. she proceeded to tell them that nobody told her that so they told her that she would have to wait until the end of the line and they would make the sandwiches the line was already out the door. They do have the best sandwiches ever. My problem is there lack of customer service. For the last 3 weeks in ago we have attempted to call in our order as we are leaving Kaiser hospital as we do infusion every Monday night. The phone is always busy and can't get through during our drive we continue to call still always busy. Finally we get to Capri and walk into order our food. We walk in and seriously not 1 customer and the two girls and one male standing around laughing. I explained I have been trying to call and she says oh, we were really busy. She finally has the male pick up the phone with a person who had been hold for god who knows. The same thing happened last week and again tonight. I attempted to call for 25 minutes. So my husband goes down there a little while ago and same situation. He tells her I am probably sitting on hold, she tells the other girl go ahead and take calls now. So it appears they put you on hold then go back to goofing around. I have never experienced this during the day but you have a serious problem with your evening crew. Maybe one of the owners or managers should do as I have for 3 weeks, only then will you see your lack of service. As much as I love your food I will not tolerate no customer service. Linda read more

Place is a scam. Went on their website and saw they have what they call a "yard stick" sandwich. My measurement of a yard stick is 3 ft long. When I asked if they are this length the lady said no but rather close to 30 inches. Online the price of a cold turkey yardstick is $18.95. The price of a hot pastrami yardstick is $21.95. I ordered one of each by phone. When I asked for my total the lady said it was against policy to give me the total price w tax over the phone and she would give it to me in person upon pick up. Thought that was weird but I went with it. So I pick up the sandwiches the following day and of course they are super packed. Took almost 15 minutes for them to come over to the phone order pick up side that I was standing in front of. When I received my total it was almost $70 for both sandwiches. I asked the lady why it was so much and explained to her that the prices on the website were less and should have only been no more than 50 bucks and she replied "I'm sorry our website is really outdated. But it does say pricing is subject to change". WTF. Lol that's how they get business? By tricking the customers? That sounds like bad business to me. I'll never go back to the scam of a place again. Plenty of other delis I'd be willing to make the drive to for the better customer service. read more
