We went here years ago and were appalled at the total lack of ambiente. What a surprise now! We used the app and had our food exactly as expected. Everything tasty and as hoped for: antipasto, spaghetti meatballs Alfredo and Special vegetables pasta. I liked the little garlic breads too.

Side salad option for mini combo

Spontaneously came here for lunch and I was pleased! Two mini combos for less than $40 including drinks! The women with short black hair is giving owner vibes and seems like she holds everything down herself, so make sure you have patience or aren't hangry when you come in lol pizza to sauce ratio was good, food was good, I have no negative feedback lol cool quick spot to come get a meal for yourself for under $20 , FYI they don't do pizza by the slice.

Been wanting to try this place, was a little disappointed. Ordered a pizza (pepperoni, sausage & mushroom) honestly better the next day. Also ordered the baked mostaccioli. Sadly, it was very dry and lacking flavor. But since I believe in second chances, I'll be back, so stay tuned!

    The bill

Gave them a try on 12/18/24 for dinner. I had the beef ravioli with spaghetti and meat sauce. Unremarkable and average. Wife had mostaccioli with butter, mushrooms and a side of meatball. She rated it a 3. Ambiance was quiet and relaxing. Service took a bit of time but everything was made fresh. Removed the hunger but nothing to brag about.

    Shells with mushrooms and sausage.

Great Old fashioned authentic and delicious Italian food. My favorite is the eggplant Parmesan and love their salad and garlic Knotts!

I started with an incredible appetizer featuring several varieties of fried mushrooms paired with red wine--absolutely delicious and full of flavor. For my entrée, I enjoyed the shrimp pasta with white wine sauce, which was perfectly prepared and tasted authentic and fresh. To finish the meal, I had the apple crust dessert topped with vanilla ice cream, and it was the perfect ending to an outstanding dinner. The food, service, and atmosphere were all exceptional. Honestly, for a moment I felt like I was sitting in a restaurant in Italy. I highly recommend Pane E Vino and will definitely be returning. Five stars all the way!

Older gentlemen (not sure if he is the owner/manager) came out and was very cold, curt, borderline rude telling us the kitchen was closed and to leave. How were we to know at the time they were closing the kitchen? No signs were posted outside. We only came in because his pal waived us in. An honest mistake on our part. I feel after being a regular patron we did not deserve such impudent behavior, no normal abiding patron does.

I like the dividers that give you a bit of privacy and cut down on conversational noise from other tables. The first thing we notice and LOVED was the old school mellow Italian standards they were playing. Yes! Very relaxing and set the mood. We would have sat in the bar, but there was a large group scheduled in there, so we sat in the dining room. Next time we'll try the bar room. The things that stood out were their delicious, rich sauces. The flavors were spot on. They cook their pasta perfect to my family's taste, with a bite (al dente), but done enough that it's not chewy or floury. Fair prices. And yummy desserts. We really enjoyed the tasty Crab Cake app. We all liked our pasta, particularly me, who had the Mushroom Ravioli with the same sauce that comes on the Beef and Mushroom Ravioli. I think there was a Mushroom Ravioli special with a different sauce, but they did it with the sauce I really wanted to try, which was much appreciated! We enjoyed the Spumoni pie--Spumoni ice cream with a graham cracker(?) pie crust. They also made us a traditional Affogato, because that's what my dad likes. But I want to try their version next time. I'm really excited to go back and try their pizza. We'll get one with sausage, since the sausage on my dad's pasta was really outstanding. I also want to try their Caesar Salad. Looking forward to my next visit!

The host was a gentleman and was welcoming and very friendly. We were taken to our seats right away, having reservations. We were lucky enough to have Catherine as our waitress, and she was an absolute delight in always. We started with wine, their focaccia bread with a delicious pickled relish, and the arugula salad, which was incredible. And that's where the wheels fell off the bus. To my own fault and sincere regret, why would I order anything but Italian food in an Italian restaurant, especially when Italian food is my absolute favorite. But no, we took the side route and my wife ordered the pork chop and I fell on the trap of ordering the ribeye steak. Will start with a pork chop that was just pretty good. And that's my wife's favorite protein dish so that's saying a lot. As for the ribeye, I was asked if I wanted it medium rare which of course absolutely that's the standard. However, when it came, I instantly knew this was going to be a bad piece of steak. It was all of about 3/8 of an inch thick and drizzled with a balsamic glaze. Sure enough I cut into it and it was absolutely dead gray and the taste was just the same. The taste was just mediocre at best and rather than make a big thing about it and return it I just powered through. After all, there's only so much you can do with a 38 inch ribeye. As an expert in meat grilling, even though it was a $28 steak, I would completely drop it from the menu because it's just not worthwhile at all. Otherwise get a 1 inch prime cut and charge $45 and make that a winner. As for dessert, how could I not order the homemade tiramisu and I was glad we did. It was perfection. So, will we be back? Yes, we will for two reasons. One, we loved the ambience and setting along with our server. Too, we intend to try what we would hope to be their strong suit, which is the pastas. We're not fish lovers at all so forget all of that, we'll go for the mainstream pasta dishes, and hope that they can restore our feelings for this gem of a restaurant.
