Not bad for the price and it's not super busy, friendly service Definitely will come back for breakfast

And I know was wrong when I said it was true Hot Links & Eggs Breakfast from #DollisBreakfast
    Mojo S.

I finally got an opportunity to check out Dollis Breakfast, where the old Sizzler used to be. The hot link and eggs plate was superb, with plenty of juicy and delicious hot links to anchor the whole entree. The hash browns were a tad mushy, but otherwise, the whole plate rocked. They got my eggs exactly up easy, which is more than most diners can do. The service was a bit slow with the refills; I only could get two refills by the time the meal ended when a more on the ball server can get me to that five or six cup mark. It wasn't too egregious, though, with her checking after five minutes of me looking to her to get my coffee. The ambiance is a little old and past its prime, but I kind of think that's what gives diners like this its character. I wasn't put off at all as I like to see a place that's settled in and experienced than brand new and maybe still figuring it out. All in all, it was a good breakfast, minus the hash browns and lack of refills. It's not the top of my list of best breakfast options in the area, but it's not the bottom of the list either.

Recently tried Dollis breakfast, a quiet little restaurant on the corner of citrus. Service is very friendly, there wasn't many staff working or too many people in the restaurant however they were still nice and accommodating. Food is okay I ordered a classic breakfast which came with a huge slice of hash browns, bacon, eggs, and your choice of toast. However for the price I think the food and portions are fair. I would definitely return and enjoy other items on their menu!

Limited open hours, but that's okay. Just plan your visit. the restaurant was very clean. The servers were busy helping their customers. My coffee cup was never empty. I ordered the BLT with tater tots. Service was quick without being rushed. Great place for a reasonably priced breakfast or lunch

Ordered thru DoorDash at 11:18 am food here at 12.42 pm for two simple breakfast. Dollies special $11.99 & sausage with egg sandwich $9.99. Only 6.7 miles from Covina to my house La Puente.

Food is great. Service has always been great. Ambiance is dated but the food and service makes it worth it. Prices are average as well.

This restaurant is very out dated and dirty. We ordered Dollis special for $8.99. Comes with 2 eggs, 2 sausages or bacon, hash brown or fries and toast or zucchini bread. Our server was very nice but the kitchen is really slow. Our hash brown was undercooked and so soggy. The kitchen asked to take our half eaten plate to reheat it. I said no to that. That's kinda gross to do that. Anyways food was just blah. I wouldn't come back.

Came here after my sons football and this was 10 minutes from the field. Walked in and didn't realize it was more towards a senior spot. Our waiter was sweet and very attentive. Inside is very old and dinghy. My son the build your own breakfast burrito. Very disappointed in the size. He likes it and that's all that matters. I got the Dollis special, which was eggs, choice of potatoes and sausage. It was ok. I didn't like the sausage. It had a sweet taste to it. We ordered pancakes on the side which were ok. Overall, we won't be returning, but I'm happy we tried the place. Happy yelping!

I tried this restaurant today because I love breakfast food. I ordered the two hot links and eggs which were delectable. The links were very tasty and of great quality. They have a variety of breakfast choices to choose from. Vegan food, turkey, chicken, etc. The service was good and the ambiance was an old-school mom-and-pop style restaurant. It's very clean inside with televisions all around the restaurant. The prices are reasonable. They serve beer and mimosas. They close at 1 p.m. during the week and 2 p.m. on weekends. Best breakfast place I have been to in a while. The food tastes like your mom made it :). Will be a recurring customer. Plenty of parking in the lot.

Brioche bun was perfectly crisped, patty was thick and full of flavor. Loved the garlic cheese spread. Just brought it to another level. Well-balanced and not too garlicky. Just delicious. It's one of those dependable neighborhood spots that you keep coming back to because the food is comforting, filling, and consistently good. I've been coming here for well over 15 years and it's always been that place you think of when you just want something solid that won't disappoint. The food itself is exactly why people love this place. Everything tastes best fresh, especially the fries and the teriyaki bowl. That's the kind of food you want to sit down and enjoy right away, not throw in a bag and rush out the door. Which brings me to the only reason this isn't a five star review. We showed up with about 30 minutes left before closing and were told we couldn't sit in the dining area, even though it was still open. That felt a little off and honestly kind of disrespectful, especially when the food is meant to be eaten fresh and hot. That said, the food was still really good, even to go, and I'm still recommending this place without hesitation. It's right there in the same shopping center as 85°C Bakery, super easy to find, and absolutely worth trying if you're in the area. Please try it. Seriously. This place has earned its reputation over the years and it's a true classic for a reason.
