I was sad the Capri in Berwyn closed. We loved going there and dining with Otto....we moved out south and found this Capri and our long lost pal Otto. The Parmesan cheese with the crushed red pepper in oil was missing in my life. I took a bite and was sent back to another time and place in my life. The house salad was great, just wish I got the dressing on the side. We had veal Marsala and salmon with crab and roasted veggies. It's like a flavor explosion. So tasty and done perfectly. Otto is hands down a great server, we have always enjoyed him and his fun stories. Everyone else was kind and attentive which is an added bonus! We had a reservation today for Easter that I made several weeks ago. We were early as church got out earlier than expected. We had no problem waiting at all. We were seated promptly at 1. The service was rushed, like they were rushing us from one course to the next. My sister had a salad which she was still eating that they took before she was done. Another member of our party was literally eating food from his plate and they asked if he was done yet. Just very very rushed. Having said that the food was good. It snowed like crazy the night we had Saturday reservations. We received text requests to confirm we would be coming., and responded affirmatively. Wo and our friends are local, so we were expecting yo gave a nice dinner. When arrived the restaurant was completely dark closed no signs. NOTHING! If they knew we were coming, why wouldn't we get a text saying that they would be closed because of the weather?? Surely they had a list of reservations. Closing under these circumstances would be absolutely understandable, but we ventured out in good faith to find the place closed. Capri Lounge has had decent (nit great), but they are convenient. Stephanie, the bartender, very friendly and personable. We like to have a drink before dinner and she's always in a happy mood. Dinner was very good. Jennifer our server is always friendly gives us our space doesn't rush us, always helpful and suggesting dinner options. What I have noticed on a consistent basis, no one of the management team ever walks around the dining area to connect with the diners. We were there two hours tonight and the owner never really left the podium by the front door. I think it's important that customers should be made to feel welcomed and appreciated which we get from the bartender Stephanie and Jennifer on a consistent basis. Many options to eat out and owners shouldn't take customers for granted. Self parking in lot. Clean, inviting, old school Italian restaurant, I was greeted and directed to the rest of my party promptly. The wine list is decent, waitstaff was knowledgeable and helpful for our selections. Wine and beverages were brought shortly. There were some delicious sounding specials, and our special requests were accommodated. Food was plentiful and tasty. Try their Italian beef egg rolls! 1st time at this location after going to the 2 Berwyn locations every other week for lasagna for about 10 years, and the Palos and Burr Ridge locations many times. I wish I could give it 5 stars but both our Lasagnas didn't taste rite and we couldn't eat it. We thought it was just us. Next day trying to eat it a few times as left overs we figured out it was the lasagna. What it was, was either too much or too strong of flavor from the big green leaves in the sauce. Not sure if they are Bay Leaves or what, but they normally do provide a great background flavor that has been very consistent and great at all the other locations. Not sure what happened here, perhaps a batch of leaves that were too strong or a different chef. We were able to pick most of them out on a portion and were able to eat some. I hope that make adjustments back to the way it was because this place is great, very nice and great service. Saw one of my past waiters from The Berwyn #1 store next to Fitzgeralds. But did not see Gigi, not sure if he comes to this location much. read more

The service was great, but the meal was INCREDIBLE! Portions are very large. I had one of the best bourbon cocktails I've ever had at this restaurant. I don't know much about wine, but our server helped me pick out a great red wine that I enjoyed. My partner and I celebrated an anniversary here, but one of the reasons I love this spot is that you can dress up and celebrate a special occasion and fit right in, but you can also dress down and simply enjoy a family meal. The price point is a bit high for an average meal, but on par with other Italian restaurants. I can't wait until I can go again! read more

On August 23rd my family and I came to dine in we've been here many times before everything has been wonderful the food the service but on this particular day we noticed the one waitress middle age little stocky was extremely loud, so as I got up to go to the restroom I noticed a young lady who was the one who seated us long black hair yelling at the three servers with cursed language a child sitting nearby which I hope the child did not hear, us is older people do not think that is appropriate to do I know this is a stressful time in the world but that was very unprofessional, we felt very bad for the staff even the loud server, there's a time and a place to reprimand and that time and place should not be in front of a child, Capri I hope this does not offend you in any type of way but this was not good it could have been better we will not be returning not anytime soon. As a long-term resident of Willow Springs, we are so pleased that Capri Lounge & Grill is in our town. This is our go to restaurant for a great tasting and reasonably priced meal. We have taken numerous guests here over the years, and every one of them has said they would come back again. In addition to the regular items on the menu, they always have a half dozen or so specials every night. My favorite dish is the spicy Shrimp Diablo. I'm amazed that this restaurant has thrived since it has no signage on Archer Road and it's easy to drive right by restaurant if you didn't know it was there. This is a really great casual Italian restaurant. I was comfortable here without a sports coat but it wouldn't be out of place. I really enjoyed the Vegas Rat Pack theme which makes it really unique. When we went to use our gift cards tonight, he said "I was joking about the gift cards". Ultimately, he took 50% off the bill with a very poor attitude.
