Picked up food for our team of 10's work lunch and everyone loved it. Everything was hot and ready. The chicken pesto is chefs kiss, the Alfredo and eggplant parmesan was also amazing. This is not a sit in restaurant, but very friendly staff.

This was my second time coming here. Food is always good and is authentic. It's small inside so there is limited seating. Mostly a take out place. Prices are typical. Employees were nice. Portions are generous. I read reviews about the pizza, frankly if I wanted pizza I would just go to a pizza place. This restaurant, however, I usually order pasta. Pollo alla marsala 5/5 - very tasty. Chicken is tender. Sauce goes nice with bread. Alfredo with sausage 5/5 - Sauce is very creamy. Noodles are not chewy. Sausage is flavorful. Nice blend of spices. Garlic bread 2/5 - it was ok. I prefer garlic bread to be softer. This one was more chewy and crust was a little tougher. Tiramisu 5/5 - not too sweet. The first bite will tell you how delicious it is. I wished I had more. Fried dough 4/5. These are free after you spend $25. There's a coupon in the takeout menus but you just have to tell them. Items I've tried the first time. Bolognese 5/5 Linguine allo scoglio 5/5 Arancine 5/5

This is the second time we tried this place. We got the garlic bread, pollo alla marsala, alfredo with sausage, and tiramisu. I really like the alfredo with fettuccine. The sauce was delicious and creamy. The tiramisu was not too sweet. The chicken in the pollo alla marsala was very tender. There is a pamphlet by the basket with the menu and if you order more than $25, they would give you a free order of fried dough. The fried dough was very good because they put some sugar on top. It is like a fried doughnut but a chewy version of it. The wait for the takeout was around 15 minutes. The place is small so it is mainly for takeout with a drive-thru. The staff are very friendly and nice. I would recommend this place to try.

Mostly a drive through with 6 chairs to eat inside and you're really close to other clients and kitchen, so probably best to just pick it up to go. Lots of options of pizza, pasta and paninis. Service is friendly and prompt. My Italian sausage panini was yummy and very filling. It had cooked rapini with the sausage which was a bit tricky to chew, but yummy. My boyfriend liked his chicken pesto panini, but would have preferred the tomatoes and mozerella warmed on it. Good food, but don't recommend eating inside because seating is very limited.

Best Italian food I've had in the Chicagoland area. Service and ambiance were incredible. Great place for a quick takeout. Good price too.

Really good carryout. Pasta with vodka was excellent with a good meatball. Same with sausage app.

Very good tavern style pizza. We did a half pepperoni and half sausage pizza. Both were good, yet…read morethe pepperoni while it was generous in portion was a tad on the greasy and saltier side. The sausage was definitely the fan favorite for the kids. I have to say the pizza crust was really enjoyable, crispy throughout and not too paper thin and robust enough to hold all toppings. As far as service, it's best to call in ahead to put in your order, as I've heard they only pump out 100 or so pizzas per day and seem to be in high demand. For example, we called in on a weekday at 4:45pm and pick up wouldn't be until 6:35pm. So roughly, two hour wait which was on par with what I've read about. The shop itself is very small. Only two tables and the rest of the space is dedicated to the kitchen and pizza oven. I'd recommend taking to go as inside runs hot from the big ol' oven. All in all, really great quality tavern style. Worth a try if you can time the order with when you want to eat. =P 'Til next time, cheers!

The sauce is overly sweet, the crust is mediocre, and the meat quality/flavor is noticeably different from what you'd expect at a traditional pizza place. They also do not serve alcohol, which is their choice, but it makes the atmosphere feel even more limited for what should be one of the premier outdoor dining locations in downtown Clarendon Hills.p What makes it more disappointing is the location itself. There are very few units that can have outdoor seating (as epitomized by the Prospect Tavern that fell through because they couldn't even get three parking spaces for outdoor seating approved), and this spot has some of the best outdoor seating in town, yet it's usually nearly empty while neighboring restaurants are packed. It feels like a missed opportunity for the area. If only we could have gotten something like Parlor Pizza here instead!

We are so glad we did! Because the cheese was perfectly gooey without being overwhelming paired with a delicious tomato sauce atop a complimentary crust with just the right amount of give to it. This may be the only thin crust pizza I would continue to get. The pan pizza was basically just the thin crust pizza with a lip on the perimeter and more cheese. This pizza was not nearly as good as the thin crust because if I'm going to eat a non-thin crust pizza, I want a more doughy crust and this just did not deliver. There was also too much cheese and it wasn't charred the same way the thin crust was. The inside is quaint with hats from all over everywhere. Service is also very kind and as quick as they can be with how busy it is. My only complaint is I wish they had a vegetable side dish that was fried, but it's a local pizza shop and perhaps not the right audience for this.
