I have tasted Fettuccini Alfredo at Olive Garden but when I ordered the Fettuccini from this business, It blew Olive Garden away The texture of the sauce the taste of the fettuccini noodle combined had a lasting taste that was very Delicious where You Knew It is Authentic not imitation. So, That dish was Perfect. I Never had a Cannoli in my life until this evening... I have to say the taste was so inviting and out of this world. I will Definitely be back to eat here or order out. I Could not find a Better place that serves Delicious and Tasteful Authentic Italian food anywhere...Until now. I also have to say I am big on Customer Service where ever I go. We recently tried their pizza, chicken parm, and a seafood pasta dish and every single item was absolutely amazing. The pizza had the perfect balance of crispy crust and flavorful sauce, with fresh, high quality toppings that really stood out. The chicken parm was tender, perfectly breaded, and smothered in rich marinara and melted cheese, comfort food at its best. And the seafood pasta? Outstanding. Fresh, generous portions of seafood in a beautifully seasoned sauce that tied everything together. The only small downside is that it is a tad pricey, especially for the pizza. A few days ago ordered pasta and cannoli, for delivery to Darien. The food was cold upon Door Dash delivery. If I had to get my mail, I found a package of food at the doorstep, in 22 Degree weather. The delivery person never knocked or rang the doorbell. I paid $3.99 for delivery , which was OK. But there was an additional SERVICE FEE of $4.79. RIP OFF. For the $42 experience, we could have gone to a nice restaurant. I'll never order from them again. I forgot to mention that the food was mediocre at best. Portions are generous. I read reviews about the pizza, frankly if I wanted pizza I would just go to a pizza place. This restaurant, however, I usually order pasta. Pollo alla marsala 5/5 - very tasty. Chicken is tender. Sauce goes nice with bread. Alfredo with sausage 5/5 - Sauce is very creamy. Noodles are not chewy. Sausage is flavorful. Nice blend of spices. Garlic bread 2/5 - it was ok. I prefer garlic bread to be softer. This one was more chewy and crust was a little tougher. Tiramisu 5/5 - not too sweet. The first bite will tell you how delicious it is. I wished I had more. Fried dough 4/5. These are free after you spend $25. There's a coupon in the takeout menus but you just have to tell them. This is the second time we tried this place. We got the garlic bread,pollo alla marsala, alfredo with sausage, and tiramisu. I really like the alfredo with fettuccine. The sauce was delicious and creamy. The tiramisu was not too sweet. The chicken in the pollo alla marsala was very tender. There is a pamphlet by the basket with the menu and if you order more than $25, they would give you a free order of fried dough. The fried dough was very good because they put some sugar on top. It is like a fried doughnut but a chewy version of it. The wait for the takeout was around 15 minutes. The place is small so it is mainly for takeout with a drive-thru. Mostly a drive through with 6 chairs to eat inside and you're really close to other clients and kitchen, so probably best to just pick it up to go. Lots of options of pizza, pasta and paninis. Service is friendly and prompt. My Italian sausage panini was yummy and very filling. It had cooked rapini with the sausage which was a bit tricky to chew, but yummy. My boyfriend liked his chicken pesto panini, but would have preferred the tomatoes and mozerella warmed on it. Good food, but don't recommend eating inside because seating is very limited. read more

We just had our usual soups from italiamo for dinner last nite...the minestrone was very disappointing. While I loved all of the big chunky veggies, the broth had zero flavor. I do like their pasta fagioli, but I do wish they would do another soup selection, particularly during fall/winter. We also had a chicken breast pesto sandwich, which we've never had before. The meatballs were the perfect density and the sauce was no-nonsense in a good way...fresh. So far I've tried pesto genovese linguine and their sausage and pepperoni pizza slices. The linguine noodle was cooked al dente, not overcooked. The pesto geneovese sauce is very creamy which kind of overpowered it. I would have preferred stronger flavors of garlic and basil in the pesto sauce and less cream. The pizza was meh to me. It's heavy on the cheese and the pizza dough is pretty limp and colorless. I'm willing to try other menu items, though. read more

Small place with not lots of space for seating there are maybe 4 stools in total. I had the chicken pesto panini which was very flavorful and fresh. Wasn't too much a fan of the cold tomato and mozzarella cheese which clashed with the warm chicken and panini. Service was friendly and prompt. read more

Last night I ordered from this restaurant through GrubHub. This morning I received a message from GrubHub stating that an extra fee of a dollar had been applied to my order because of a "special request." My "special request" was that I asked for marinara sauce to be put on the side of my pasta. GrubHub said they were unable to do anything about it so I called the restaurant and spoke with the manager. Instead of apologizing she informed me that these types of special requests cost the money and I just can't understand how much it costs them to take extra time to put sauce in a container and then most people are trying to take advantage of them and just want extra sauce. I explained that this order was for a child and that I did not want to risk anything in the sauce being spicy and therefore I asked for it on the side. What makes it worse is that I made this request via a phone call to the restaurant and the woman who assisted me did not say anything about an upcharge. I think this is absolutely criminal. Even though it is "only" a dollar, by not disclosing it, they have reached into my wallet and taken my money without my permission. I own a business myself and I understand the costs and challenges of business ownership. I assumed that a phone call to the manager would be a productive way to resolve this issue. However, she did not understand why I find this highly problematic so here is a warning to anyone placing a carryout order. I simply cannot abide by people taking my hard-earned money without my permission. Italian restaurants are a dime a dozen in this area and I will find one that operates ethically for my next order. AUTHENTIC Italian food fo sho! Alfredo is ACTUAL Alfredo, butter, Parmesan NO cream. It is a bit pricey, but I'll pay it for this amazing place. They were open throughout the pandemic as well and something I ate frequently. They have a drive thru. Inside is no sitting area per-say. The vodka pasta, Alfredo, italiamo pasta, all are great and come with a yummy bread roll. The pizza by the slice here is also the best thing I've tasted. I got the veggie and it's amazing. I wonder if it was just a weird take-out thing? It's hard for me to imagine that it's meant to be served this way, especially since the wedge potatoes are presumably meant to be crispy. Most of the food is pretty tasty. I was just really disappointed by the sandwiches. There was barely any meat in them. We got the Salumi and I'm sitting here looking at a lot of bread, huge tomatoes and barely any meat. Really disappointing. The arancini was phenomenal! An appetizer order has 2 arancini, which are rice balls filled with a meaty bolognese. I planned to eat just one of the two for lunch and then have the other for another meal. I couldn't do that. I ate both arancini for lunch. The cannoli was very good. Arancine were soon good and fried just right. The Italian Ice (strawberry) was homemade and even had real fruit in it! Traffic in and out the place was steady. They also cater. No stars!!! This is the third time my BF ordered pizza and it was Delivered 1.5 hours COLD... COLD .., COLD he is Italian and he didn't want to make a big fuss... The same lady would promise $5 off... which we never even mention because we know they are local and we want to support their business however when my BF called and complained ... This lady was making excuses and hung up ... he had to call back and ask why she hung up... that was the last straw... Italiamo ... you cannot deliver COLD pizza ... we have to re-heat every darn time ... damn... How many pizzas does the driver deliver at a time? 20-25???
