I've been to this place several times, so I'm surprised I haven't done a review yet. Service: IMPECCABLE! The staff is welcoming, engaging, and attentive. Any time I have questions about the menu, they're able to answer them with ease. They also have great recommendations. Shout out to Mariam - she was GREAT today! Ambiance: It's never too loud, and it's not difficult getting a reservation. There's always a nice crowd, but wait time is very short. Food: In the past, I've had the Fig & Prosciutto Omellete, and I've heard it's a fan favorite. It's the perfect combination of sweet and savory. Today, I finally decided to try something new and had the Smoked Salmon Avocado Toast. I was NOT disappointed. There was a spicy red pepper sauce on the toast that gave it the right amount of kick. The smoked salmon was super fresh. The chef's kiss was the side salad. Adding it to the toast was the perfect bite. Beverages: I enjoyed the Passion Moma (mimosa was passion fruit puree) and the Pom Fizz (mimosa with elderflower liqueur and pomegranate). Both were delicious! Maybe 1 day they'll do bottomless mimosas, lol. If you're looking for a solid breakfast in the La Grange area, you MUST check out Prasino! #ImNotAFoodie #ImJustAGirlWhoLovesFood #YelpEliteSquad

Stopped for lunch with friends we'd not seen for a long time. Our order included the Chicken Club, Veg-Out Omelette, Irish Skillet and Mediterranean Salad along with Two flavored teas. I ordered the Irish Skillet which was a corned beef 'hash' sort of concoction and it was VERY good. Not your typical cubed items but big chunks of lean CB. My wife had the Veg-Out Omelette and said she'd order it again, high praise. Our friends also enjoyed their entrees and we learned they've been here many time. I took a photo of the Irish Skillet but not of the other plates.

Prasino is always a nice place to dine. Cute location, good service and quality ingredients. They also have a rewards program as well, which is nice. Reasonable breakfast prices. You can sit outside and people watch. Spicy feta omelet and pancakes were delicious.

I'd never heard of this restaurant, but went for my sister's birthday. It was a decent meal. Although we sat outside, the inside was beautiful and clean. The staff accommodated our seating requests and found a spot that was perfect for our group! We had tons of questions about the menu, and our waitress was awesome and patient! We had a variety of things and everyone liked their meals....same for dessert. I would go back if in the area.

Visited for breakfast on our anniversary. Very pretty, clean, modern bright ambiance. Mostly regular tables with some booths too. Good temperature inside. Reasonable pricing. Service was fine but not especially friendly or warm. A little abrasive. Almost ordered a drink but took our drink menu away lol! But everyone was dressed super cute and looked great. The person filling waters and busing tables was super attentive. The food was soooo delicious! Portions were perfect, everything tasted fresh. Very happy with our meals. Especially dessert - wow, pretzel croissant french toast... Whoever thought of it is genius. Order it.

Been here a couple times, for breakfast, and thoroughly enjoyed both times. This is the heart of Lagrange so parking can be difficult, just a heads up. Make sure to enter on the corner entrance as well. Sat indoors once, very spacious and very nice decor on the inside. Both times didn't have a wait, although it's usually pretty busy. Sitting outdoor in the summer is also very nice! The service is pleasant and pretty quick. I forgot the actual name of the coffee but it's a turmeric coffee, it's very interesting and quite refreshing - definitely worth trying and also very aesthetic drink. Between the short rib skillet, eggs Benedict, breakfast tacos, etc - everything has been great, fresh and full of flavor. Worth checking for breakfast/lunch - haven't went for dinner although I'm sure it's

First time here. Made reservations via open table. Really didn't need to. Came early. Lots of seating. First impression.... The place is big. Long and narrow. Nicely decorated. I like the ceilings and all the windows. Fabiola was our server. She was so sweet and knew the menu. Service with a smile. We were given water immediately upon being seated. The coffee was strong but good. Ordered the crab cake Benedict and Irish skillet. Both delicious. I would rate the food, value and decor a 4... But I would rate the service a 5. And I have thing about good service (I consider it my top criteria... yes, over the food). So my overall rating is a 5. Would definitely recommend. We will be back. Other: located downtown, LaGrange. Street parking. 3 stall bathroom - clean

Came to Prasino to celebrate two of my friends' birthdays. It's in a great location and the aesthetics are very simple and tasteful. We had a reservation and arrived an about ten minutes early, but were greeted and seated promptly. The server and staff were all very friendly from the get go. The four of us had a lot of catching up to do, some we handsy hung out since mid or late March. Thankfully, the server as patient and gave us lots of time to do so and to look over the menu. All of our cocktails were great! We had one meat eater, one pescatarian (me), a vegetarian, and a a vegan and we all had plenty of options to choose from. Everyone's food was delicious. The only thing that was lacking was that our sever didn't really check up on us much. Again, she was very professional and friendly, but we had to wait a while for things that we needed here and there, like refills on water or an extra napkin, and we did have to wait a while for the check to ask for the check. Overall, the food and drinks a wonderful and I would recommend to friend in the area.

Prasino is truly a gem among the dining establishments in the Western suburbs. The food is always good - eclectic and innovative, and the service has been good the five times I've been. The chicken Amish crepes are a standout. Probably extremely unhealthy but worth every calorie. I haven't been here for lunch or dinner, but have been so pleased with the breakfast that it's my go-to place despite living in Westmont, where there are probably 20 breakfast options on the drive between where we live and Prasino.

We came here for breakfast at 9:30 on a Saturday. Parking was open across the street. Full Xmas decorations up with instrumental holiday music playing. Immediately seated in a booth. Restroom was lovely. Extremely varied menu for food and drinks. We ordered goat cheese toast and traditional breakfast items. Fantastic! The side salad was delicious, and the bacon and sausage yummy as well. The coffee was hot, strong, and we never had an empty cup! The local cider on ice was crisp, and was one of many local beers/ciders available. Edith, our server, was kind and quick. We will DEFINITELY return!

I had the red pepper and cheddar quiche -- delicious! It was light and fluffy and came out in great timing. The salad was crisp and fresh, and the dressing was light -- just enough. Service was great and the entire staff was super friendly. I will definitely be back!

First and foremost - everyone I interacted with was SUPER KIND, and I really liked some aspects of…read morethe experience. But for a premium price, I expect premium product, and this place is rough around the edges in ways that feel easy to fix. I'm pointing them out in hopes they'll be corrected. First the positive - the food was pretty good. Not great for the price, but pretty good. Drip coffee was better than most diners/cafes in the area. The ambience was pleasant. Here's the issues. 1. The furniture needs a refresh and I don't think the place has even been open that long. The side tables by the window are losing their finish - a fragment of wood got caught under my finger nail as I was sitting down and just lightly grazed the table with my hand. I also brushed away a few additional flakes coming up. The chiffon curtains are charming until you look closer and see they're speckled with food from past diners. A moss ball decoration in the bathroom is missing half its moss. It's little stuff, obviously, but when I spot things like this at a place otherwise charging a premium partially for cute aesthetics, I always get concerned that the lack of attention detail might also be getting reflected in the food. 2. Value for money and food quality are also an issue. $20 for one slice of sourdough cut in half, a rather overdone French omelette with sour cream on top (not mentioned on the menu and a weird choice) a bowl of fruit I wasn't interested in rather than a choice of free side, and sausages I paid extra for, is not good value to me. The bread was good! The omelette was mediocre. The sausage was very solid, had a slight funk to it that I liked and suggested to me it was made in house - but 7 dollars for two sausage patties is absolutely wild. I would suggest Milkstop rethink the combos on its menu to include more and be priced a touch more transparently. 3. Finally, service. Everyone was VERY KIND, again, want to stress that, but service was slow and rather inattentive for most of the meal. The place was only half full, but water and an initial drink order were slow, and I waited for a while for the check while the staff chatted amongst themselves in the corner of the room. Not trying to be a dick, the life of a service worker is tough, but the place was mostly empty and I noticed they already charge a 3% service gratuity on your orders, so I'd expect a little better. Basically this place has a very charming surface with some wonkiness around the edges. I will definitely come back again but guys, come on - ditch the gross chiffon curtains, for both our sakes.

There is an older gentleman who walks around to make sure your coffee cup is full. Breakfast and lunch served all day until 3pm, closed on Mondays. Great place for families with children too. Love the remodel with exposed bricks, bar seating, and new decor. The diner is on the small side, but don't let that detour you from waiting. It's worth the wait! I ordered the skirt steak medium rare and it's was cooked and seasoned to perfection. Flavorful, tender and juicy! Hash browns were extra crispy and the grilled onion enhanced the flavors. The pancake and ham sandwich was as big as your head! Country fried steak was filling and topped with delicious gravy and cheesy hash browns. The chilaquiles was some of the best I had. A bit spicy, but the homemade salsa verde was delicious! We've ordered many different entrees from the menu before and they were not disappointing. The cream of chicken soup, patty melts, onions rings, milk shakes, blts, cheeseburgers were all delicious.
