Great NYC style pizza, definitely recommending.

Great NYC style Pizza: Well balanced sauce, crust is thin and well cooked. This place is recommended for sure.

I've always passed this place driving by. Reluctant to try it because there's only a couple spots for parking you would need to park somewhere and walk or ask for delivery. But you grew up in Jersey or NYC you know, pizza is great when it just came out of the over. I was skeptical because I am picky with pizza. The pizza was very yummy, the Italian salad was fantastic, garlic bread was better than the fancy Italian places in palm beach county, and the lasagna I ordered was fantastico and I finished all of it in one sitting. I don't remember the last time I had great lasagna. This place has been around for four decades. What does this tell you? So happy to find this hidden gem especially when I was starving coming home from work on a Friday evening. So yummy. Thanks Capri Pizza

Is this real cheese on this pizza??? Nope!!! This is not what I wanted. I wanted a nice hot cheesy pizza pie...and I got this!.

My Friday night pizza craving was destroyed. I have never had pizza this bad before my life when I first took a bite the toppings just fell off like the cheese did not hold anything together I don't think this was real cheese! So very disappointed I wish I hadn't picked this pizza place for my Friday night craving.

This how I got my pizza delivered tonight. Raw onions no cheese:(

Raw onions came on my pizza tonight. When I called they said this how it comes. No it doesn't. Glad I didn't get sausage it would have been thrown on raw too.

    18 inch pepperoni

I tried Capri for lunch with a friend. Its a small place, in a small strip, and has obviously been there a while. We ordered a large (18 inch) pepperoni. I would say this was about average NYC style pizza. The crust was slightly uneven which meant that the pie cooked a little unevenly as well. I felt the crust could have used a little more flavor. Cheese was so-so, sauce and pepperoni were both good. Service was friendly, though we had to ask for plates. Counter seating. They didn't appear to have the A/C on, just the front door open. It got pretty hot where we were sitting and I was actually sweating as I was trying to eat. This is definitely a delivery/take out place. I don't really agree with the previous reviews that imply this is the best pizza in the area, but its not a bad option either.

Walking along the beach front my wife wanted to look at some clothing at a store next to this pizza…read moreplace. I seen they have pizza by the slice and I always love to try pizza. They had 8-10 different pizzas available to try. I ordered a Brooklyn slice (lots of meat, mushrooms, peppers and onions) and a chicken BBQ slice. They put in the oven for 3 or so minutes and served it to me. Also they have a small area to add parmesan cheese, crushed red pepper and other spices. Grabbed some napkins and went out to a table along the roadway to view the ocean and people walking by. I'll tell ya this was a great tasting pizza! Thin and crispy and full of flavor. The Brooklyn was great and was like a pizza i knew i would love. The BBQ was sweet and smoky flavor. I loved that pizza and when I go back hopefully next year or the following year I can guarantee you I will stop back in. That area is so nice as you can enjoy your food oceanside. The menu has a lot of options and not just pizza.

The pizza is excellent and the people running it are awesome... friendly and accommodating... they care about their customers and have a great attitude. I went the day before their pizza was voted the Best in Palm Beach County for 2025. In that regard, it's worthy of the award. Was impressed with my first visit here... started with a super fresh salad, excellent. Loved my slice of "The Trio"... Fresh Mozzarella, Pesto, Vodka Sauce while I waited for my pie. Pizza was great but would love this pie with a thinner crust... then has the potential to be one of the best pies anywhere. When I spoke to the pizza maker, he understood, and said his customers like it like this, but next time I order a pie, ask for a thinner crust and they will make it that way. That is impressive... and exciting! Be back for that soon, and report on it. VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

I've ordered from them multiple times since seeing them pop up on DoorDash. So far, we've loved the regular cheese pizza, the pepperoni pizza, and even the Greek salad. My kids were not fans of the garlic rolls, but I enjoyed them very much! The perfect spot for grabbing pies when headed to Lantana Beach, which I do quite often. So grateful for East Side Pizza!

Why I'll order again: hits the spot, and the craving, when we need it…read moreYou HAVE to order: classic pepperoni pizza Tony's Tip: tread lightly outside of the pizza realm Everyone needs a local pizza place. In fact, home doesn't really feel like home unless you got one. And now I got one. When we're at our Winter getaway in Palm Beach, some nights just call for pizza (okay, I have to call for the pizza). About a year ago, the wife and I did a mini tasting tour, grabbing a slice at three of the higher Yelp-rated pizza spots in the area (Lake Worth and Lantana, which are just across the bridge). East Side won hands down. The place is nothing to look at. It's a small joint in a strip mall that has seen better days. But that's where hidden gems like this lurk. And when it comes to the core mission, East Side gets it done. The pizza is your classic neighborhood recipe: thin but chewy crust, slightly sweet tomato sauce, classic mozzarella (and plenty of it!), plus a decent coverage of toppings. We've tried a few combinations and liked them all. My order is always ready at the pickup time, and we've never had a pizza that was overcooked. One caveat: I tried an Italian Combo sub once, thinking they'd execute that well. They didn't. The bread was hard, and the meats too thick. Basically inedible. My wife's Eggplant Parm sub also fell short. I'm gun shy about trying another sub. But when it comes to pizza, this is our place.

Oceano, why oh why did I wait so long!?…read more I have been wanting to try Oceano since it was located in its former Lantana location. So when friends asked if I were interested in joining them for an art exhibit, followed by dinner at Oceano, I could not say YES fast enough. I am thrilled to say the wait was worth it. All the chips fell into place when after a small wait we were seated outside (what luck), found our waiter was from Croton-on-the-Hudson (had to wait a year before he was able to land a job at Oceano), and our food was paced perfectly. Started with the Grilled Cucumber Salad that included sumac-labneh, medjool date, berbere spice pickle, pistachio, and the Sugar snap Pea Salad of rhubarb, pecorino, stracciatella, mint, lemon, marcona almond. Next up, Pizza! Had to of course start with the Straight Shooter Pizza which was a simple pie of tomato, mozz, basil, pecorino, good olive oil. Pizza #2 was the Zuchinni Pizza, a white pie of hazelnut, lemon, asiago, mozz, parm, stacciatella. To round out the meal we had the Gnocci Sardi. This was an utterly delicious bowl of pasta that included duck confit, morels, peas, parm, creme fraiche, fines herbs, wild ramps. Super meal with smiles all around. There are two restaurants I feel are super deserving of a Michelin Star in my area, and Oceano is definitely one of them! Not super close to me, but I see a few summer nights at the bar with a salad, pizza, and glass of wine in my future.
