Our bartender was very kind and accommodating, He answered all of our questions and made recommendations. All of the pizza offerings looked fantastic. We settled on the Calzone Genovese, even though this was a calzone there was no problem making it into a pizza. The wood fire pizza oven was in the center of the restaurant, so we were able to watch them make our pizza. It had ricotta cheese, mushrooms, pesto, and caramelized onions. It was very good and a nice change from a pizza with classic red sauce. The pizza crust had a good amount of char on the bottom with just the right amount of thickness. I would recommend Mimmo's to anyone and will definitely return if I am ever back in Destin.

Tiramisu - 3 stars, it was delicious, only complaint was the lady fingers were not soaked in coffee. And they placed chocolate syrup on it, not sure why. Bread pudding - 2 stars, it's not traditional bread pudding. It came out in slice of cake form. The ratio to Carmel bourbon syrup was way off. It was more apple spice cake than bread pudding in my opinion. We would definitely go back for the pasta and house bread, while skipping apps and desserts. We would recommend this place for pasta!

Man, these are some of the best garlic rolls I've ever had. They were hot, buttery and so light all at the same time. We then ordered the Gorgonzola pizza. It came with grilled chicken and onions with no sauce. We added pesto sauce and wow. The pizza was so delicious and had so much flavor. Krisztian then brought us out the best cheesecake I've ever had period! Everything about this dessert was screaming fresh and homemade. That response said everything. The problems we experienced were clearly management issues, not our server's. She worked hard under impossible circumstances and deserved support, not to have her tip used as the solution. We made things right for our server, and stressed to her that this was not her fault. The kitchen produces great food, and the restaurant has a wonderful atmosphere. Unfortunately, poor management overshadowed what could have been a great dining experience. I hope they invest more in supporting their staff and taking ownership when things go wrong.

The salad and two pizzas tasted good but again the size of the pizzas was so small. We could barely feed four adults with two entire pizzas. We ignorantly thought we could have salad and pizza and be super full, not so. We won't order here again.

I travel last year with my girlfriend and her family from Dallas, Texas, and we spent three days in Destin. We were in the lookout for cool and delicious coffee, but we couldn't find a good place until the last day when we came back to Dallas we found the Capriccio Cafe. I order a Grilled Salmon and Cafe Au Lait, wow everything was delicious, the bread from the sandwich and the taste of the salmon was magnificent. The family from my girlfriend enjoyed the sandwiches, coffee and crepes. I talked to the owner Marco about football soccer and his passion from Internazionale Milano. Lifer in Destin but this is the first time eating at this tucked away dream. Your experience will start with a welcome from all employees. Not the tired, "Welcome to Moe's" style but a truly warm and sincere salutation. The offering of coffee is wide and they KNOW their coffee. The schedule of sandwiches and crepes is diverse. I discovered Capriccio's last week on my family's annual Destin vacation. Why have I not been here before?! Hands down the best coffee I have ever had and I'm from New Orleans. The owner, Marco, is from Milan, Italy. Once we heard his accent, there was no doubt that we were going to eat breakfast here. The crepes and sandwiches were amazing! Cute little coffee shop…read more I can see why people may come here to work, it's cute and not too loud. The coffee was SUPER sweet. The Lox bagel was delicious but the salmon was a bit mushy.

Friends and I stopped here for a quick breakfast on our way home after spending the 4th of July…read moreweekend in the area. My first thought walking in was how spacious and modern the café felt. I loved the seating and the decor--it had a really inviting atmosphere. My breakfast plate was just alright. The eggs were tasty, but the sausage patties came out cold. Also ordered the double chocolate chip muffin and asked for it warmed up, but that too was cold. Nonetheless, the muffin was still pretty tasty. My iced Blueberry Cobbler Latte, however, was absolutely scrumptious. I'd come back just for the coffee! We got lucky and arrived right before the morning rush. The line grew fast, but the staff seemed to have everything under control and kept things moving. Overall, I'd definitely come back for the coffee and the vibes!

Absolutely LOVE this place!…read more I came in yesterday and got the original chicken salad on an everything bagel, and it was SO good that I came back today! Chef Don has a special recipe for his spicy chicken salad, and he convinced me to give it a try. I'm so glad I did because it was absolutely delicious! The everything bagel + spicy chicken salad is seriously a winning combination. Everything is made in-house, and you can taste the difference. I also grabbed a bag of their bagel chips and a sampler of cream cheeses -- chive, pimento cheese, hot honey, and vegetable. Every single one was delicious! The owner was there and was incredibly friendly, and the woman who rang me up was just as welcoming. She even gave me a local's punch card because we just bought a house here, which I absolutely LOVE! We're so happy to have found this place and already know we'll be regulars. If you love a good bagel and homemade food, you need to try this place!

As a local and I want to support local businesses when their quality matches (or exceeds) my expectations - no charities! When you walk in, you truly get the sense that you are visiting an authentic bagel place. Big fluffy bagels on the wall. Plenty of smear options. Friendly, attentive staff. Good number of customers inside. I purchased two of the same sandwich for a total of $30 - everything bagel with bacon, egg, and cheese. They both looked identical to the photos I posted (this one was mine). Here's my review... The bagels were hard as if they were "day old" (we purchased at 10am). The eggs appear to be premade. The portion of bacon and cheese was strikingly minimal. A sandwich that cost this much should have the contents flowing out of the bagel as in their examples when you walk in (my opinion). I treasure the money I earn and nothing upsets me more than paying too much for something this bad. I've never paid this much for a similar style bagel at an airport - and it's always better than this. I literally finished the bagel and said to my wife afterward... "that was the most difficult bagel sandwich I've ever eaten". I don't waste food. I don't share these details to be mean or malicious to the owners of this establishment. They just need to do better. As a consumer, I have to make the choices that are best for me and my family. And, when I had a more fulfilling Jersey Mikes sandwich yesterday for $10, it makes it easy to never come back. Please work on your product. Destin needs a good authentic bagel place. You could be it - your only competition is Panera.
