This review is based solely on the rudeness of the person at the cash register between 2 and 3pm, Saturday, December 17. He needs to learn some manners. Say THANK YOU when dealing with a paying customer. Don't act like you really do not want to be bothered and couldn't care less about any kind of polite service. I have no complaints about the food but I wouldn't rave about it. The chicken with penne pasta is ok, chicken portion is generous, sauce is ok. Eye contact and a thank you go a long way, especially a thank you. This was my first time at Capriccio's and it will be the last. There are other places in this area where I can get 'just ok' Italian food. Next time I'll take my business to one of them. read more

Stopped here literally for a pepperoni roll on the go. Well worth the stop! These are simple and plain looking but crispy and delicious!

I always enjoyed their food at the original location on Maple St in Croton, but having closed there they opened their new spot on Riverside that is gorgeous inside and out. The only negative difference I noticed since the move is their sauce changed and I really don't like it. Fortunately there are so many other things on the menu that don't use red sauce that it's still one of my go-to places. The staff is always knowledgeable and friendly, it's very fast paced though so if it's busy when you go in, you better know what you want or you'll get run over lol- and it's usually busy! Or you could easily order online for pick up or delivery. Parking is plentiful, either in the lot or on the street and there is seating inside and outside. My favorites to order are the Greek salad with Cajun chicken and creamy balsamic dressing (the best salad dressing ever), pasta Alfredo with grilled chicken, Philly cheesesteak pizza. read more

I like Italian food a lot. There are some really great Italian restaurants in the area. This is a great place just to stop in and get some pizza. I have had some of their other dishes and I think it's not bad, but it's not the best I've had. It is definitely a place I could sit and have a great beer and a pizza. If I did the review a month ago it would have been 5 stars. The Lasagna tray and garlic knot tray were delicious for me and my work friends. Today I ordered the same, the pick up being 3 hours later. From the beautifully decorated interior to the meticulously planned outdoor seating area, this is definitely the place to see and be seen in Croton. All of your favorite pizza and Italian dishes from the previous location are still here along with a bunch of new ones. On a recent visit, we sampled the soppresata pizza and it was sublime as was the lemoncello cake for dessert. Other highlights include the Buffalo chicken pizza, white pizza, garlic knots and the penne vodka with chicken. Customer service is still top-notched as everyone behind the counter from the cashiers to the pizza makers greet you warmly. And of course, Digna, the number one waitress on Earth, is back with her omnipresent smile, kindness and boundless energy. The aforementioned outdoor seating is fantastic and well planned with multiple entry points, comfortable seating, and umbrellas for those sunny days. I'd been trying to get into this restaurant for the longest time. My husband and I ended up eating a very early dinner on a Friday in order to finally try it out. It was well worth the wait. We sat outside. The tables were nicely distanced. We each ate only one dish but they were both delicious. The bread that arrived was warm and very tasty. My husband ordered the ribeye steak and really enjoyed it. I ordered the brick oven chicken with broccoli rabe. It too was delicious. We didn't have an appetizer or dessert or coffee, but what we had was absolutely excellent. The service was casual but warm and not overly fussy. I would've given the restaurant five stars but I don't think we tried enough on the menu to be in a position to judge. Just as an aside - it was a pretty windy evening but the sun umbrellas provided plenty of shade and didn't blow over or away! read more

So I figured I'd call and let them know and spoke to owner and he said that their both items are on the pizza. Stopped here after going to the Pumpkin Blaze. Everyone here is super friendly. Our waitress was super sweet! I didn't get her name though. The food was ok. We ordered the garlic bread app. It was yummy! Def recommend. We ordered the fettuccine alfredo, penne alla vodka and chicken parm. Hubby did not like the chicken parm. It had a tart taste he couldn't get over. The fettuccine alfredo and penne alla vodka were good as well. Hubby didn't like the penne alla vodka either. The staff make this place memorable and make you want to go back. Everything inside is new...but the tables are small and the seats are bit uncomfortable. I eaten the pizza at the original capricios 1 many many times. Apparently location 1 and 2 closed shorty after the pandemic started. I would travel out of my way for their pizza and garlic knots. I was not away they opened a new larger restaurant. So i had to give it a shot. Stopped by there on a weekday and was pleasantly suprised by the nice outdoor seating area. There was also plenty of customers. The servers were very nice and very helpful with any menu questions. Appetizers were timely and there was plenty of food for the cost. Entrees arived in a fair amount of time without shoving the food down your throats and rushing patrons out the door. Very satisfying. The Entrees gave plenty of food and also tasted very fresh and flavourful. I will be visiting the restaurant and recommend you do the same. 5 stars on every aspect. Just hit their brand new location at South Riverside Avenue. Looks like the building was reformed. Bright and airy inside. The pizza selections are tremendous.
