Although the cheesesteak is very tasty, it's expensive and they clearly rip you off. I ordered a medium cheesesteak with extra pickles (I chose to add the mayo and ketchup at home) when I opened it up this is how little meat that was in my sub. I'm paying for medium but get the meat of a small, it's an extreme rip off. Customer service could stand to improve at this location as well but that wouldn't keep me from coming back. I'm addicted to their capastrami and cheesesteaks! I love Capriotti's! This weekend even with a morning power outage they got back to business as soon as it was back up! We have never had an issue with our food the wait time the service. Oh and the Bobby is soooo good! When wawa' gobbler isn't in season I get my turkey fix here. Not only did I have an absolutely terrible experience here, but the last few times I've visited this place I was very unhappy. I typically place an online order as it's more convenient. They stuck the receipt, as well as a yellow receipt that stated requests or anything I had online. I typically get a large cheesesteak, half had toppings on one side and half different toppings on the other side. The past few times all toppings were just thrown on. I ignored this. Last time I visited, they said they didn't know what happened to my order, but would make it right away, which they did very quickly. I walked away, got in my car, and thought maybe I should check that it's right. Sure enough it wasn't. Toppings were on there that didn't even show on the original receipt. I took it back and before I could finish my sentence he said he looked online and noticed the topping request of half on one side whale on the other. Okay and where did the other toppings come from? Whatever. So I stated exactly what I wanted and watched him write it down. No apologies or anything at this point. It took a while before I received my order as there was a line at this point. As I'm standing there I noticed the air vents, even the ones right around where they make the food, were COVERED in dust. Dust that had to have been there for years as it was hanging off the vent. Disgusting. Next time you go, please just take a look at the vents and the dust all over the ceiling. Please save yourself the headache and don't go here.. read more

Capriotti's is known for the Bobbi, which is basically leftover thanksgiving dinner in a sub sandwich. Anyone who goes to a capriotti's needs to order that sandwich, it's delicious. I have also ordered their chicken cheesesteaks in the past and those were good too. They provide mayo, oil, hot peppers, and sweet peppers as additionally toppings. I wish they provided vinegar too. If you order from this place, I recommend you call in advance as it can take 15 minutes to fulfill your order. If my husband's company hadn't relocated us here, I never would have heard of Capriotti's. What a sad thought! Best sandwiches around, with meat a prepared on site. My top choice is always the Slaw-Be-Jo. Fresh chopped roast beef, provolone, mayo, Russian dressing and cole slaw! The one I always order, 99.9% of the time. There's just something about the blending of those flavors that I can't beat. Is also recommend the cheesesteaks or the turkey sub. Since no one at their corporate office wants to address it I'll use this as my platform. I went into Capriotti's and ordered a roast beef sub. Got home and took a bite of it. It instead was an Italian sub. My issue with this is I'm Muslim and don't eat pork. I called and expressed my disgust as well as called corporate. The issue has never been addressed. read more

Love this sandwich shop. Every time I go to visit family in that area, I stop there to get lunch or dinner. The turkey sub is addictive and so different from the sandwich shops I'm used to in NY. I have been a loyal customer at this location for many years and today will be my last visit ever. The service and food has been dropping off for a while now but tonight was the last straw. I phoned in my order and was told it would be ready in 20 mins. I show up 25 mins. later and was told they were "just finishing up" my order. While I was waiting two of the employees cooking the food got into a loud argument about who wasn't doing their part in getting the orders out. One of them saying that he still hasn't started the order that was placed 20 mins. ago. After a 10 min. wait i asked the cashier how much longer it would be. She then started to ramble how it would be 5 or so more mins. because the order needed to be cooked extra long...whatever sense that made. I reminded her that she told me they were finishing the order up when i walked in the door. She got indignant and said the cook had several other orders in front of mine that he had to get to first. I then asked her why she told me my food was almost ready when they obviously hadn't even started it. She got flustered, said "OK, whatever" and turned her back to me. I had to wait an additional 10 mins. and finally she mumbled my name and tossed my food on the counter at the other end of the store where i was and again turned her back to me. To top it all off, after waiting for over 45 mins. they got my order wrong. Bye-bye Capriotti's, it was fun while it lasted. read more

Wow, what a very small sub for a high price, plus they don't have banana peppers......not worth the price!

Eden Square was the best. Now they cut down on meat and cheese. You ask for a little oil and you end up with a soggy sub. They are good at putting a lot of filler like lettuce. The meat is shaved so thin kind of like a mystery meat. If you ask for an Italian sub they put American cheese instead of provolone. They have cheap down to a science. Capriotti'sused to make an excellent sub not any more and the cheese steaks are not tender like they were before the change. As expensive as they are you want what you pay for. I called a bit ago to place an order for delivery. They stated they delivered to the mall area and asked me what time I wanted my delivery for. I said I guess ASAP. He asked what I would like after being placed on hold for about 4 min. I asked for 2 medium bobbies. He said that's it? No we can't deliver those. What a waste of my time and will never go there again. I actually would drive from philly just to get their sandwiches.
