We ordered large Bobbie sub sandwiches and cheesesteak sub sandwich. I honestly didn't know how large "large" was and was surprised when our food came out. If I knew it would've been that big, I would've asked them to cut them in thirds or quarters. But as for taste, both sandwiches were delicious! My 5 year old gave the cheesesteak thumbs up and ate all her portion without any complaint. Only issue I had was that I chewed on a bone in my Bobbie sandwich. So, my review is not necessarily on Capriotti's as a whole.... My review is specifically on their chicken chipotle crunch sandwich. I say this because I've gotten take out here about 6 times, and every single time I have only gotten this sandwich. If we were rating sandwich's within a 10 mile radius, this would be a 5/5 star review! But, I've had much better sandwiches in Philly, so I can't rightfully give this 5 stars. The food is excellent. They use Liscios bread which is outstanding. All sandwiches are unique and you really need to try this place. My only issue is that the kids that work here cant read. Probably been an issue since childhood.... but they are completely lost. Don't order online. I ate here on 11/13/23 and I have to say not only was it the best chicken cheesesteak I've had in years but the service was exceptional. Everything was clean and "Will" put the experience over the top for me. I would have been happy to retrieve my food at the counter but he brought it out to us and really seemed appreciative of our business. Checked on us a couple of times and was very helpful. You can't really even go to a fast food drive-through for less than nine dollars these days so your prices in your head are from the late 80s and you need to adjust your framework. Otherwise there's a Giant across the parking lot I suggest you go pick up a pack of hard salami and make your own damn sandwich; either way don't try to insult my friends at Capriotti's. Happened to be in that shopping center so I tried this place for the first time. They had a veggie chicken steak on their menu, so I tried that. I guess that's why it was kinda tasteless to me, not to mention a lot of bread for the amount of meat. It's in the former Pizza Hut location that had carry out only; Capriotti's does have indoor seating but it's limited. The service was friendly and professional and they did as much as they could at one time. It is, though, a tad more expensive than other sandwich shops. If you're tired of Subway or Wawa or pizzeria steaks, that's fine, but I wouldn't go out of my way to get a sandwich here. read more

The sandwiches are great but my only complaint is that when ordering for delivery you cannot request peppers (hot or cold) on the side. Why? It is a simple fix and customer centric. We loved Capriottis the first time we tried it!! Tonight... not so much. The cheesesteaks were dry and lacking meat enough to fit the 18"in bun. We ordered at 7:30 so maybe they got by with what they had left at closing?! At $22 a sandwich, that's not acceptable. Also, three of the four warm sandwiches were waiting at the counter when I arrived. They sat another 10 minutes because between the 5 very aloof workers behind the counter, no one thought to put the fries in the fryer. We have regularly enjoyed the food, service, and staff at this place for the past year or so since moving to the area. They have a great selection, with bit phenomenal carnivore options like the waygu cheese steaks and really top notch vegetarian offerings like the Impossible cheese steak and vegetarian Cole Turkey! The fires are great too, kind of like thin cut steak fries, different and delicious. The staff always makes a point to say hello to our little guy and he loves it! Great food if I want a salad... please add gluten free sub rolls to your offerings - UDIs are what Jersey Mikes, Firehouse Subs and others use. They are freezable and an easy addition. My family would spend a lot more money here if there was an option for me. read more
