The food here was excellent and the service was pretty quick considering how busy they were. I would eat there again if I was inEasley.

The food is so bad taste like frozen shit ! The manager in the flamboyant pants made me feel very uncomfortable.

There domestic dishes are better than the Italian. You would think they would know to sauté some sauce into there pasta then top with additional sauce. Because there sauces don't adhere otherwise and just separate into 2 masses. They use a heavy tomato paste based sauce and could stand to add some additional seasonings, to break up the 1 dimensional flavor. read more

I live in Central and my cousin in Greer and we chose a place in the middle to meet up for dinner. Capri's is what we picked and we were very pleased. The staff was very quick and attentive. We had very good service and the food was great! We each had a different entree and salad and were not disappointed. I had the chicken Parmesan with a side of pasta which also came with one of their Italian salads. It was a wonderful meal. My wife had the manicotti which she enjoyed - it was so large I was able to take the rest of hers for lunch the next day. We'll definitely be trying it again. read more

This place seems to have an identity crisis! Is it upper class? Middle class? Or lower class trying to be an upperclass ? My first impression of the aged building made me think this place was just okay. When my family went inside we were told there would be a 30 minute wait. Okay cool! We thought we were somewhere fancy! As we went to our tables, I noticed the jam packed tables. Trying to get as much money as you can eh? As our bread was brought to us, I noticed the pre wrapped butter (aka low class restaurant). We ordered mussles for an appeitizer and they were very good! However, the packaged crackers seemed cheap. When my waitress went to refil my alcohol, she informed us that there was no more clean glasses! All and all this place wasnt to bad. A typical Easley restaurant. read more

Not sure why this restaurant gets such rave reviews. Waitstaff was decent. Food was awful. Ordered shrimp scampi for like $16 and it was like 7-8 shrimp soaked in butter and wine. Topped with 2 onion rings. No pasta. Came with a steamed broccoli with no flavor at all. Son ordered baked manicotti and it wasn't pasta. It was a crepe like product. He didn't like it. Husband ordered a seafood platter that Silver Bay down the road does better. And they charge way too much for low quality food. Oh and I am Italian was looking to try this place forever since it's always packed obviously no one knows better. Will not be back. read more

We waited over 30 minutes which is fine for a Saturday night. I order chicken Alfredo but instead of fried chicken I got grilled chicken it came out with pasta a little Alfredo on it and two chicken breast on the side not cut up and in the pasta like normal chicken Alfredo is served the serve asked me if it came out like it was suppose to I said no told him what I expected and he said that knife will cute that chicken up real good. So I tried to eat the noddles and they were beyond gross the Alfredo sauce tasted like it had been poured straight out of a can and not even heated up the serve asked if I wanted a box I said he came back yet again and asked I said no it was gross I didn't like it at all and he just walked away didn't care to ask if I wanted to something else or offer a manager to speak with this was our first and only experience I will NEVER be back. 40 dollars and leave still hungry. read more

We have lived in Easley for almost two years and driven by Capri's countless times. Finally my husband and I went on a Sunday night. I had read bad reviews on this sight, but good ones on another...I decided to take a shot.(I'm glad I didn't go by the reviews here.) It was very nice. It opens at 4:30 on Sundays...we got there around 5:30. We didn't have to wait long...maybe 5 minutes, but when we were leaving an hour later...WOW! Line out the door! I had spaghetti (half-size) and husband got ravioli (full-size). We both got a dinner salad (costs extra), and it was big! Their Italian dressing is very good! Their bread comes warm and sliced, to where you have to pull it apart. It's not a huge loaf, but if you want more, just ask. I do wish the salad came with the dinners, but they only come with the trio dinners. Prices are reasonable, atmosphere is good for couples or a group. It wasn't loud and our service was excellent! I forgot about Sundays in Easley being a "no serve alcohol" day, so I'll have to go back another day to try their wines. All in all, we got out of there for about $26 without tip. That's not bad at all. We didn't feel rushed. at all. Definitely will go back again!! (side note: Their meat sauce is very meaty...loved it...but it does have a sweeter taste. Food warning!!!!!!!!! If you are allergic to shellfish you really can't eat anything! They cook all fried food in the same grease ALONG with shrimp! I was shocked when I asked and the waitress had no idea she had to go ask a manager who had to ask the cook!!!!!!! Went once will never go back after only having water and a salad that tasted like it had been prepared two days prior! It was very scary! read more

We eat at capris once every few months. The food is always good however the beer is seemingly just below room temperature. This is the second time I've asked them to check the cooler. I love beer, but I'm not a fan of warm beer. I was told that it's as cold as it can get right now but they would check the cooler setting. They did offer to bring me a cold glass to help finish the pitcher of beer. If they would put the beer in the cooler where the glasses were, the beer would've been fine. When I paid at the cash register I told them one more time that the beer was a little warmer than I liked and it didn't seem to make a big difference to them. My favorite place to eat since the 80's!!! Food is always wonderful, and the owners/staff are so nice and accommodating.

My husband and I took my Father and my Mother there for a nice, Fathers Day Dinner. We waited a long time to get seated and when we finally did, we waited an even longer time to catch a waiter's eye so that we could at least order a salad to help us over the famished hump we were in. I am diabetic and had already had my insulin shot in the car outside, thinking it was maybe going to be just a half hour or so before eating something.....I can improvise though, so that's not the reason for writing in. When the waiter finally came to take our order, they were out of so many items on the menu already, and this was only around 5 pm that day. So we had to look again to find something else. The waiter didn't like waiting for our decision, so 'we' had to wait some more for him to return, 'again', to take our order. After placing our orders, we tried to enjoy the listless salads and stale bread that they placed on the table, but we couldn't eat very much of them as they weren't very good. After waiting another very long time, we summoned the manager(i guess he was the manager) to ask just where our food had run off to??? He wasn't very pleasant and growled that he would 'go see what was taking the cook so long'. So, we waited some more....He then returned and told us our dinners would be out shortly and stumped away, apparently angry that we had 'bothered' him this day. When our dinners finally came, they were cold, didn't taste well at all, and were just downright unsatisfactory, especially for a nice 'Fathers Day' dinner that we were hoping to give my elderly Father and Mother. We didn't finish the dinners either and we again called the manager over. He was not very happy when we told him of all the problems we had incurred at his restaurant.....he wanted to know if he could 'heat up' our cold dinners, but we declined and told him the best thing he could do was not present us with a bill at this time. He stormed off again and the waiter came back...with the bill and laid it upon our table. We told him we didn't think we should have to pay it. So the waiter stormed away......I got up, went and found the manager/owner my self, and told him the best thing he could do was excuse us of the responsibility of having to pay a bill for a dinner that was so bad. He fumed some and then finally said, 'get your family out of here'. So I went and 'got my family out of there'. He followed us outside and then surprise, surprise, asked us never to return. Like it was our fault for the restaurants incapabilities to feed us that night. So, we have 'never returned' for another bad dinner at Capri's in Easley, SC. He actually said, 'Ya'll just don't come back here'......I am finally happy to get the news out about this place. Good luck! read more
