Some of the best food we've had! This is a nondescript looking restaurant that we've driven past for a decade, but today we had delicious Italian food. My lasagne was piping hot, loaded with flavor. The chicken soup was so tasty I could have just had that for a meal! My husband had the grouper which he devoured in delight. Service was very good. This has been one of my childhood restaurants that I've been to since I was a kid. I went back here on March 13th. I forgot to post a review when I had the food, but I got the baked ziti with meatballs and garlic bread, and it was very filling and delicious! I definitely would recommend it. The crust on the bottom of our pizza was almost raw. I tried to crisp it up in the oven, to no avail.

We go here about once a month after church. Really good salads and a BLT that will make your mouth water uncontrollably. Great fries and onion rings too. A little on the small side so not the best place for large crowds. read more

Milano is our go-to place in Simpsonville. I like that they have Italian and Greek classics, so it is easy for everyone to find something they like. The Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo is my husband's favorite. I like the gyro and pizza and salads. The desserts always look wonderful but I'm always too full to try them. Ordered a to go order from here and won't be giving it another shot! The pizza is borderline undercooked, the cheese is a rubbery greasy mess, and there's little no sauce or flavor. The pepperoni on the pizza seemed barely cooked too. Almost felt like the pizzas were cooked in a microwave. My fiance got sick due to the food as well. Went to Milano's last night with my family after the Fountain Inn parade. It was delicious. All 4 of us enjoyed our entrees which was 2 cheeseburgers, veal Parmesan sub, and the Super Sub. This is a great, local, friendly, non-chain restaurant. Half Italian and half Greek. After living here for 3.5 years, I can say this is our favorite go-to restaurant. Great staff. Something changed - for the worst. Two weeks before my last visit, our orders were accurate and delicious! The last time we ordered 4 items, each was not accurate - some inedible due to allergies. Plus the quality changed like maybe they changed cheese or something. Even the person in my family who eats everything said it was bad. We checked some of the orders in the drive thru and just asked for the toppings on the side. But it was impossible to check the Stromboli in the car! Got home, it's wrong. Called the manger (not Karen like) and she was accommodating, but I could have been spared the excuse that "the girl taking the orders can't hear due to noise". UM, 2 things here: 1) on Friday, it's evident the restaurant is busy and flooded with calls - get her a headset or put her in the office or offer online ordering. 2) the girl should have repeated the order back to avoid ALL of this, but instead, rudely hung up. Just a hint of off flavor and I honestly cant figure out what it is but it tastes a little strange or off. We found PLASTIC INSIDE OF OUR LASAGNA!!!!!!!! so now I'm wondering if the weird flavor of the sauce was from improper storage or dirtiness or something. I mean how is a big piece of plastic in my lasagna unless this place is doing something horribly wrong. Kind of grossed out right now so I think I'm done typing. Pro: Friendly waitress. Cons: Restaurant is old and out dated. Moldy water stains all over the ceiling. I got a grilled chicken salad and every bite was grizzle. The lettuce was wilted. If I could rate a restaurant 0 I would I do not recommend eating at this restaurant. First I walk in with my family. My chair is broken and my finger gets smashed in the chair. Off to not a good start but hey it can get better right? Wrong! I decide on a soup instead of a salad and I get the soup and there is hair in it. The soup is very bland to the extent where salt can't help. After a while of waiting my stuffed shells finally arrive to the table. They get to the table and they look fine. I cut open my stuffed shells and there is more hair in it. I have to pull out the hair and the cheese taste expired it has a very unnatural tart flavor. I've gotten takeout from here twice. Each time the staff is cordial, but not overly friendly. My calzone was tasty each time, no complaints. I'm just discovering this local gem having recently moved here. We all need a place like this. Diverse Greek and Italian dishes and thus far we've tried both and they were fabulous tasting, reasonably priced and with great family service. Even though I'm new they acted as if I was a loyal customer and I will become one. The salads are amazing as was the salmon with mixed veggies and the Stromboli's. The pizza was cold and the crust was very soggy. I ordered mild wings to accompany the order but the wings were too spicy for our tastes. We had been wanting to try Milano's for a long time. Order 2 lasagna dinners to go on 7/29/21. Got home to eat and my friend start choking. I help get the food out of his mouth. A whole paper clip came out of his mouth. Yes accidents can happen, but when I called the restaurant the I asked for the manager. The young girl said she could help me. After telling her what we found she practically called me a liar. So after, I told her Channel 4 would love the story she put the owner on the phone. After taking the food back the owner even agreed it look like the paperclip had been baked.. I've been coming to Milanos for almost 15 years and for the last five, it's been hit or miss every time. When they get it right, it's great. When they don't (which is getting more and more common) it's just expensive. The food here is great when they take care to prepare it properly. This place is the best bang for your buck pizza place I've ever gone to. This place is delicious and is comfort food for me when I visit my in laws in Greenville. We always get a large pepperoni pizza and an order of fries with ranch. Shockingly the bill for this is always under 15 dollars. I mean come on...you can't beat that.
