My favorites Italian beef , Chicken and Pizza .Today we had a deep dish Pizza and Fried Chicken .The pizza is made with fresh ingredients the cheese is high quality , the sausage is perfectly seasoned and a huge portion 1 of my favorite pies in NWI especially for the price and quality !! The Chicken is amazing the best around light crunchy batter always crispy seasoned perfectly super moist even the Breast priced like KFC but 100times better !! We just had a bad experience with Capri's, after we waited a year to order after another bad experience! Had to Yelp it this time. We ordered two pizzas, fried vegetables, bosco sticks, and fried shrimp. Order was placed at 6:30, arrived at 7:30. One of the pizzas was made wrong. It was supposed to be sausage and onion with mushrooms added to one half and pepperoni added to the other half. The order taker put it down as half mushroom and then a quarter of that half with pepperoni. Not too complicated: each side was to have three toppings. So at 7:35 we called, got a manager who apologized for a trainee's error, got the order straight, and offered to exchange the pizza. Forty minutes later, now two hours after the original order was placed, we swap pizzas. The delivery guy apologizes and tells us they lost most of their staff to a violent bar fight and the new people can't handle the job yet. Wow, that makes me feel uneasy. Didn't need to know why there was turnover in the kitchen. So he leaves, and we open the replacement pizza. The ticket is written correctly this time, but the pizza is screwed up AGAIN!!! This time, both extra ingredients were added to the same side. It was not made as the order ticket was written!!! AAUUGGGHH!!! So we call and ask for a manager to let them know after two tries it is still wrong. We don't want to wait for a replacement. The woman is so sorry. Just sorry. Even after explaining we are trying Capri's for the first time in a year because of a past screw-up, still just sorry. We should have received a refund for the screwed up pizza. Didn't get one. Ten minutes later she calls and offers us 20% off our next order! Do you really think there's going to be another order? NOT A CHANCE. The food is average at best to begin with. My husband and daughter prefer no other pizza We've also catered from them several times before and their catered food is also DELICIOUS and well priced. I only come back home to visit every couple of years. Each time we have to order Capri's and the recipes always stay the same. The pizza is always good the chicken crispy. this time we also ordered Italian beefs it was decent but nothing special. This place has some of the tastiest fried chicken in the city!! It's crispy, flavorful, and never dry! I've also has their side salad, fried mushrooms, and buffalo shrimp, which weren't that great.. The salad was just iceberg lettuce, a slice of tomato, and some cucumber slices...mushrooms were a little soggy.. And the buffalo shrimp were just ok. Nothing fancy or special about their decor. They have a variety of food to choose from so I always get something different to try out. This place has gone down hill. The order comes late. The kid who delivered called me and I stood for just over 5 minutes before his car pulled up to deliver! REALLY. Stop this phone call crap!!!! Let me start by saying that I love how the place smells! DELICIOUSNESS! My family and I have been satisfied with Capri's food since we moved to the East Side in the 90's. Their broasted chicken is finger-licking good! Especially if you order some hot sauce! On Wednesdays my boyfriend and I order Italian beef sandwiches because they have a special. I work at the refinery and this is my go to place for location and quality. Seriously. Yes, there is a longer wait for delivery on weekends (to be expected, people) but I've never waited an hour. And my order is always right. I order from them about once a week. The menu is diverse enough that I don't get bored with their offerings, and I haven't had a bad meal from them yet. What can I say? Great place for a quick slice near bp not over priced like beggars the lunch specials are well worth it. And the amount of fries is generous

I ate here twice and both times had bad experiences. The first time the delivery took over 1.5 hrs and they got my order wrong and didn't include any silverware or napkins. The second time the delivery took over 1 hour even tho it's 5 minutes away and my food was all messed up in the bag, the spaghetti fell out of its container and the bottom of my bag was soaking wet in sauce, again no silverware or napkins. Very rude customer service. The first person I talked to said they didn't deliver to my address "right now." When I inquired more to what she meant, she repeated the same thing in a rude tone. While her manager explained further, she didn't seem to mind that I told her the customer service was rude. I will not be ordering here anymore. For what it's worth, Capri's is a nice little place. The pizza is reasonably priced and pretty good. The pasta is not bad at all, and on Tuesdays it's "Buy One Spaghetti or Ravioli Get One Free" day. Capri's is only take out and delivery. The breaded cauliflower is pretty tasty. read more

Pizza is hardly consistent. Sometimes it's perfect, other times too much wine in there sauce, or to sweet, or the crust is dry and hard on edges, and at times it's great. I know it's always different people who make the sauces and dough, etc... But consistency is key. I quit ordering after my last 4x's was disgusting. We ordered over the phone and when they delivered they delivered the wrong amount of pizza's. So my pregnant sister-in-law calls them to tell them they got the order wrong and the person who spoke to her called her the "b" word when she tried to tell them that we needed more pizza's. She was calm and trying to explain what happened but whoever was on the phone didn't care what she had to say and told her to shut up and tell him what she wanted. Capri's has great quality food. MY family has ordered numerous items from here for years and we have yet to have a bad experience. I am extremely picky about how I like fried chicken, and theirs is perfect. I would also recommend their Italian beef (order before 4 & you get the sandwich, a sack of fries, and a can of pop for a great deal). The pizza is also one of the best in the area. read more

Ok i have mixed feelings in writing this review. Living in the area and growing up with Capri's its always been the go to pizza spot but lately they have been seriously screwing up! Ordered a mushroom/pep large pizza for delivery 1hr and 30mins later our pizza arrives and its cold! I feel like over the years this place has gone downhill. They need to upgrade their delivery time and customer service skills. Who wants to eat a cold pizza?! Beside that flavor and freshness is always on point. If I could give zero I would. Order a pie or small orders are fine at this joint and the food is good. If you are a BP Arcelor/Cleveland executive they will be prompt and probably even open early if you have a large order. Phone in a catering order 2 days in advance be prepared to wait a half hour for your catering order with the excuse "we are busy" this place is a joke when it comes to heavy business from regular customers. If you do order catering order It a half hour earlier and just let it get cold for your guests. Avoid this joint for large orders if you have any type of schedule of people arriving for hot food. Asked for them to double check my order since one tray was labeled wrong it seemed to be a big deal to come double check it. This hole in the wall thinks it's a chicago steakhouse. Place is a total shit show when any type of timing is involved. Avoid at all costs if you have a large amount of people to feed or be prepared to wait 30 minutes sitting in their disgusting and dirty pickup area. read more

So tonight was the most frustrating experience I've ever had with any food establishment. First what happened is they forget to deliver fries I had with the order and the delivery driver caught the mistake because he read the ticket on the bag and felt only a sandwich was inside when he grabbed the bag. So I called and they said it's coming and I was waiting for over 20 minutes which was just the beginning because there's more to it. So I go to open the sandwich up and turns out it's the wrong one entirely which at this point was over an hour from when I ordered. I call and I'm told it'll be there in less than minutes but it was another 30 minute wait and that's just not right to do to a customer. They need to work on their communication and they to work on their "SKILLS" of following through with an order. I feel bad the most for the delivery drivers because they had 3 different drivers which means two of those guys probably aren't getting a tip and the tip I had added was placed on my card because I don't carry cash so I hope they do something to make it up to those drivers who should get paid more than the dumb asses working there. Time I called was 6:10 and nothing but fixed until 8 so yeah definitely not giving this place any business in the future. read more

I spent 2 hours researching where I was going to order food for the game today and after reading all the great reviews about the chicken I was excited to have some on the way but its very clear that they send the old dried out pizza out for delivery considering the unlikely event of the person returning it. Capri has the food of the God's! Although I don't really go here for the pizza, they have many other items on their menu that are delicious. The Italian beef is the best I've ever had (Get it with cheese and red sauce and you'll be thanking me later!). The prices are reasonable and the daily specials like buy 1 get 1 free spaghetti or ravioli on Tuesdays cannot be beat. The staff are always friendly and the place has always been spotless clean.
