Bugatti's is a quiet brick and mortar Italian steakhouse on the entrance of the Ameristar casino. This steakhouse offers a full menu on all luxurious pieces of steak and seafood. We tried the New York steak, lobster tail, seafood combo and mushroom + onions. The sea bass in the seafood combo medley turned out to be the most succulent and melting piece of fish! 7/1/2023....My wife and I had dinner at Bugatti's Steak & Pasta at the Ameristar Casino East Chicago. We had the Surf and Turf, a lobster tail with an 8oz filet and French Onion Soup. It was all absolutely delicious! The steak and lobster were cooked to perfection. Our Server was Tunc, (It is a word but it's also a Turkish name and surname according to Wikipedia). He was fantastic... very courteous and attentive. We would definitely recommend a visit here for dinner and we will be back. This restaurant is an indulgence that is well worth the investment. Our server, Tunc, yes, "Tunc" (what a name?), but anyway, he was attentive, unobtrusive and had a great sense of humor. I ordered a double lobster dish which was not on the menu, but they accommodated me and it was perfectly done. My friend's prime rib was exceptional and the creme brulee portion was delicious and large enough for three. Bugatti's is a solid good casino steakhouse. The food is always good and with a higher level of service than many chain places in the area. The bread and butter they serve is so good. Warm and super soft in the middle its the most memorable thing from the last four times we had dinner here. We also thought the smokes crab cake was one of the best we have ever had with tons of crab and very little filler to hold it together. i realize that hitting the steakhouse of a NW Indiana casino on a Tuesday night, in most cases, would be a 'miss' type of sitch, but not at Bugatti's. This Italian steakhouse was a 'Hit' with this mob. A tasty GIANT glass of malbec for $8, a big salad with all trimmings and outstanding dressing, a full loaf of fresh baked bread for every 3 people, and I went all out and got the lobster tail with asparagus as my side. And though I did not partake in the steak, I can tell you from seeing the plates of a few of my fellow diners that did, that I'm pretty sure it was bear steak, because that b was freakin' HUGE! Everything I had far exceeded my expectations and the lobster tail was exactly how I like it- big & thick. I successfully negated the the 7.5 miles I ran today by dipping it salty butter... but it was worth it. For dessert, my group pretty much split one of everything they had. My recos- get the chocolate cake, get the carrot cake, get the apple cobbler. Now go forth (to Ameristar), win big (in the casino), and eat well (at Bugatti's). read more

I kinda had high expectations for this place and it wasn`t that great. I ordered the Chicken Cacciatore which was o.k. I thought it could of been better. I don`t like grilled chicken with Italian pastas. I think it takes away from the origianl flavor.My dish was on point with the spinach,mushrooms and cheese`s but that dam grilled chicken took away from the whole dish. On the other hand, my mother ordered Chicken Penne with roasted garlic sauce. Pretty good buuut they added that dam grilled chicken, which took away from the flavor.The restaurant is beautiful and it's located inside the casino Ameristar (formerly Resorts and Harrah's) so once this place robs you, you could step outside and gamble and get robbed again.The prices are not reasonable at all. Extremely expensive and the food isn't that great for what they charge at least I thought. Maybe they were being lazy and put grilled chicken in every dish. Came here on July 4th for dinner with the family. We ordered 3 appetizers (crab cakes, scallops, and shrimp cocktail) 1 soup and 5 entrees (4 prime ribs and a salmon fettuccine) I'll start with the good -The appetizers were all very tasty, especially the scallops were my favorite. -The lobster bisque was good as well not too creamy, could use more lobster bits. -The Salmon Fettuccine was good, the salmon was not overdone and tough. And the fettuccine was good. The Bad -We ordered 4 prime ribs and they were the toughest and probably some of the worst primes ribs ever. They were cooked right, but just really really tough and tasteless. We all had such a hard time just trying to cut it. Just bad meat. -The bread was stale and hard, not fresh at all. We have been coming here for probably over 8 years and they use to serve fresh bread with Parmesan and olive oil, now it's just a mix bread basket which was stale and not fresh. The prime rib was awesome before, now just terrible. The service was just ok, you can tell everyone just wanted to leave since it was a holiday. Just really disappointed in the entrees. read more

It melts like butter,it's the only thing my husband orders,and he will starve himself the whole day just to make room for it. The Chilean Sea Bass was a dream! Get the Short Rib Taco appetizer (we wish they would put this short rib on the menu as an entree,it is just spectacular). We love the food so much,we went there for our 25th Anniversary. My wife and I went here for dinner and was one of the worst experiences I have had in a long time at a restaurant. We walked in the place was not busy at all. We waited for 15 minutes to even get asked if we would like something to drink. Oscar was our server and we saw him maybe 3 times while we were there. It took 30 minutes for him to get our order. I asked for more bread and had to ask again. The steak did come out cooked the way we both wanted but it for sure was not prime steak. The steaks were full of tendons and the quality was terrible. When we left we both felt sick after eating there and we will never eat there again. Do yourself a favor and go eat somewhere else other than this place. read more

Dining here is a MUST, and should be on your bucket list. We want for our birthdays, and what an experience! The salmon with champagne buerre blanc sauce was absolutely perfect and the porterhouse was tender and delicious - paired with the mascarpone whipped potatoes, jumbo grilled asparagus, and broccolini, it was a completely amazing experience. I woke up in a new Bugatti! Let me say my hunt for the new Angelos Sicilian Cart in northwest Indiana is over. I have a grade system for reviewing restauraunts based on 5 categories. Food Quality 95% Menu Variety 88% Service 85% Atmosphere 90% Price 80% Overall grade: 87.6% This was the best italian restauraunt/steakhouse I have been to in a long while. The server was polite and not overbearing, but not present enough. Bussers were excellent on identifying needs. The environment is exactly that of what I expect of a fine Italian place , over dim lighting, secluded away from the Casino, decorated very well, and table space was great. NICE booths for partys of 5 or more. We were immediately served fresh sourdough bread with a great butter spread, olive oil, and balsamic. The food came out prompt and my god was it excellent. The New york Strip 13oz was so tender I thought it was a filet. I did not use any effort at all cutting the meat. The top was crusted perfectly with a lil char and a very slight amount of some sort of romano cheese i believe. Perfectly cooked on the inside So flavorful! Calamari was different in a great way. Not chewy or oversized. Homemade breading was seasoned great. I Felt they could have had a little more crunch to them although. Oversized asaparagus was so darn fresh and flavorful, cooked to perfection. My girlfriend had the Veal lasagna. It was really good as well. Maybe a bit too greasy and cheesy for some people, but not me personally. The only thing I regret is not getting one of the three salads they looked amazing on the other table. Great ambience. Classy music. Well dressed people. Food however does not match up. Ordered a vegetarian Brussels sprout side dish got it stuffed with bacon. Ordered a drink. Tasty initially until we found bugs floating in it. We aren't from here but we know we are definitely not coming back to this meal. My friend got a shrimp pasta however it tasted primarily of lemon. Dined here recently and was welcomed by the chef and manager. The bread was fresh and plentiful (my favorite combination). All of the food was excellent. The sea bass and lasagna were "slap your mama" good! I ate here right after Thanksgiving which probably made me a gluttonous fool but my tummy was so happy! The portions are plentiful. It was lousy. The lamb chops were well done ( I ordered normal mid rare edible lamb chops; there was not a speck of pink on the plate) yet somehow they still had white fat on them? The noodles were overcooked and tasted like glue. The sauce itself was nice though and I hope someone in the back actually made it... I was impressed. Asparagus was done properly and I liked the grilled taste. It's too bad my main course was so INCREDIBLY bad. The rest of the experience was wonderful. I was just here last night with my parents and my Grandma and it was pretty darn delicious. It just recently turned into an Italian restaurant and thank goodness it did! It's located inside of the Ameristar Casino in East Chicago, IN. (formerly Resorts and Harrah's before that , etc.) and it used to be more of a steakhouse/seafood place called The Waterfront Grill. It was quite good then as well, but it's even better now. I would say it's probably twice as good as it was then, and that's saying a lot because like I said it was good then too. It's just that back then there was only one pasta dish on the entire menu and it was not that great of one and was a very small portion. Now there are great pasta dishes galore to choose from! Plus there's still Steak and Seafood if you so desire not to get the pasta for some odd reason. LoL. Anyways, I highly recommend this place! Oh, and the prices have gone down a little since the transition of the style of restaurant has taken place, so that's a good thing as well. It's still a somewhat fancy place and they still serve wine. The only thing I miss about the old place is the Lobster Bisque, but I did notice something called Lobster Cappuccino which may be similar. There are many steakhouses that are in our area but we always take the drive to Indiana to eat here. We try the crab cakes at every restaurant that has them but these are THE BEST.
