Got take out here a couple weeks ago. the food was tasty. I like the garlic sauce more from here that other Cajun crab places I've had. parking is plentiful at the strip mall.

A must try in the Springfield area, union ! Fresh delicious seafood and an added plus is that they offer BYOB ! The atmosphere is very welcoming and the restaurant is super clean . Great music vibes for a chill lunch ! Great Service ! TRY IT !

Quick bite to eat... I know, I know, but I played it safe for the first visit. Chicken Tenders & Lemon Pepper Fries w/Coleslaw w/Berry Juice Felt like a big kid w/the adult capri-sun. Didn't miss the liquor, BUT it would've added a lil umph Took the food To-Go. But the staff was pretty chill and nice. Can't wait to go back and get the seafood. Might try the Qns location since it's a lot closer to me.

I'm not much for a boil, but let me tell you this place made me a believer! From the amazing garlic noodles to the homemade lemonade, this place has it all! It is BYOB, but the food totally makes up for it! Funnel cake fries were too good & the boil was perfection we picked the lemon pepper sauce so addictive !

This place is great!! The restaurant is a nice small addition to the ton of spots on 22. We were seated immediately on a Saturday night and it wasn't packed but a nice amount of tables were taken. The seafood came out quick, fresh and hot. Very very flavorful. Definitely at the top of my list for seafood boils. Nothing in Union/Springfield compares. My only issue was that the lobster tail isn't cut prior to it cooking. So when it comes cooked the green stuff is still there but cooked so it's like a big green vein. I adding a pic of my leftovers. I took the lobster home to clean it prior to eating.

Came here to get a seafood boil bag to go, I got a pound of crab legs and a 1/2 of shrimp. I gave it three stars due to not having many options for the sauce. However the seafood it self was very fresh, if you choose to dine in you can BYOD which is a plus. I recommend giving this place a try.

the good, service were amazing. I ordered the seafood boil with crawfish and mussels and it was great! Most importantly, the music was FIRE! Great experience.

Okay, so I was super excited to come here because their IG promotions have been on point. The social media team has definitely done a great job and building excitement around the business. My friend and I both won a seafood boil and lobster tail dinner so we went in last night to try it out. As far as service goes, the staff is super friendly and attentive to the table. There were points where we weren't sure exactly who our server was because it changed constantly but overall, the staff were nice. If we had questions and they didn't know the answers, they went into the back to find out. Some of the answers were still confusing but it's the thought that counts lol As far as beverages are concerned, the lemonades were delicious. They have a bunch of flavors in these cute, oversized pouches which really build an aesthetic. For dinner, I had shrimp, mussels, clams, sausage, and crabs. My friend had crabs and shrimp with an add on of garlic noodles. Okay, so overall the seafood was juicy, not over cooked, and well covered in the sauce. But the sauce-- ahh. I wish they had more options, for example a possible garlic butter add-on. There were really only 2, so it doesn't give patrons much of a choice if you don't like their signature sauce. If you're into seafood and sweet then this is your place. The Cap't Lou sauce is a cross between Cajun and slightly sweet sugar cookies. The hotter the level you go, the less sweet it is but there's always a hint of sugar. I'm not really into sugar and seafood so it didn't work for me. The garlic noodles were the same thing except more amplified. They literally tasted as if the chef poured some sugar cane right into the mix which was super disappointing. I don't know who thought it was a good idea to mix butter, garlic, cheese and cane sugar but hey, if you're into that kind of thing sure. I'm a salty meets sweet girl but there are some things it just doesn't work for and unfortunately l, this was it. The beignets were more like zeppolis but zeppolis are always delicious so I'm not complaining. All in all, I want to say I'll be back but more than likely I won't because the digestive challenges that occurred between my friends and I after were excessive. I'm sure it was the combo of sugar, salt, Cajun, just too many things. Hopefully, we had an off day and the chef confused the salt with the sugar in the back? I'm not sure.

There's a whole lot so easy parking. The drink pouches are so fun and it's BYOB if you wanted to add alcohol. Had the boiler and the king crab legs were insane. Clam chowder was sooo good. Loved the Remoulade and Cajun seasoning was so delicious. Service was great.

Seafood Boil Crazing Satisfied! Stopped in for take-out and ordered 1/2 Lb Snow Crab and 1/2 Shrimp (head off) with medium cap't loui sauce. Definitely on the hotter side regarding the sauce yet was flavorful. I was told that my combo came with corn and potatoes so I did not order extra but was very disappointed when I arrived home and noticed my order only contained one potato and one corn on the corn.

I'd say we were successful in that regard, and this is probably one of the top two places I've been now in town, along with Garlic Rose. Even if you didn't have access to the menu, this just LOOKS like an upper-class steakhouse - lots of darker interior colors with deliberate use of lighting almost like the aisles in a movie theater. We did the responsible thing and made 6:30pm reservations, though the restaurant was relatively empty when we first got there (it filled up for sure during our dinner). We were immediately seated and attended to, which was a pleasant recurring theme for our experience. On the booze front, we each got an Old Fashioned, which was specifically cited on the cocktail menu, and a bottle of Daou Cab Sauvignon to share (I let my chum take the lead on that selection, which I think was influenced by the strong reviews on the Vivino app - a recommend if you're into that sort of thing). The Old-Fashioned was decent; I'm always pleased when the de facto bourbon is Angel's Envy. I'm not crazy about vermouth, which I always think gives off shoe leather vibes, but I did like the smoky profile on this one. Not bad at all, but I liked the bottle of wine better. We decided to split the Grilled Octopus app, which came with seasoned potatoes, olives and tomatoes. This was arguably the weakest part of the meal. The octopus was a little tough/rubbery and the accompanying potatoes to me were very much needed and better, frankly, than the designated star of the show here. I'm not an olive person but my chum's comment there was they were too overwhelming, taste-wise. Noted. We also got a side of parmesan truffle garlic steak fries, which I didn't have too many of because I was distracted by all of the other options on the table, but would totally get again. For entrees, it felt morally proper to hit up the cattle (when in Rome). I went with the Braised Short Ribs, which is one of my go-tos if it's on the menu. Pretty good - VERY tender and literally falling off the bone. I'd say about 20% of it was too fatty for me, and I pawned that section off on my chum, but the other 80% was primo. She got the Filet Mignon Oscar style (which my computer wanted to autocorrect to Oscars, thinking it was the umpteenth time I was typing something about the Academy Awards), and was very pleased by it. Not mindblowingly amazing but solidly above average across the board. I'm not sure why we ordered dessert at this point other than to ensure I had something else to munch on the following day, but we did that too. I got the Cheesecake w/ Marionberry Compote. This was just okay for me. Taste-wise, the cheesecake seemed a little off for my palate; maybe a little too tart? It didn't seem as milky as other cheesecakes, which doesn't necessarily mean it was bad, but wasn't my kind of cheesecake. The compote was also just okay, both in the moment and as a leftover the following day. Maybe I'm just used to getting this dessert with strawberries and compotes that are similar to that type of fruit, but I just didn't think the compote and cake meshed as well. Debatable though. There's room for improvement but this is a strong entry in the Cranford gastro scene, such as it is.

My colleagues got the lobster roll + champagne and I got the "sliders" with a side of truffle fries. They had happy hour prices for drinks as well, so we got a few glasses of wine and cocktails. Honestly would come back for these happy hour sliders alone! Overall we had a great time here. Haven't tried any of their main dishes, but judging from happy hour alone, this place is one to return to.

I'm not sure if it was because it was midweek or if the chef was simply off his game on this night, but the experience was disappointing overall. The first thing I noticed when I sat down was that my knife was dirty. I ended up taking another knife from a different table. The ambiance, as always, was wonderful, and there were only two other tables occupied, so the restaurant was not busy at all. They started us off with soup, and it was chicken noodle soup. I was honestly very disappointed. When I go to a Spanish restaurant, especially one like this, I expect something traditional like caldo gallego or a similar house soup -- not chicken noodle soup that I could easily make at home. For appetizers, we ordered shrimp in garlic sauce and calamari. Both were absolutely delicious and honestly the highlight of the meal. We also had to ask the waiter for bread, and when it finally arrived, we were each given one very small roll. Our main entrées were sautéed tilapia and shrimp in lemon sauce with mashed potatoes and string beans, and breaded veal cutlet Milanese with mushrooms in a wine and brandy sauce over mashed potatoes. Unfortunately, neither entrée stood out the way meals here usually do. The tilapia was sitting on a bed of mashed potatoes and absolutely swimming in lemon sauce. There was so much sauce that it completely soaked the mashed potatoes and vegetables. I could only eat the top portion of the fish. My husband also mentioned that his breaded veal was very oily. The waiter never returned to ask if we wanted anything else to drink. The water had no ice and felt warm. We also had to ask for additional bread. I'm used to bread being left at the table, not rationed piece by piece. When the waiter asked if we enjoyed our meal, I politely explained that I did not care for mine and why, especially since most of it was left untouched. He looked at me like I had ten heads. I truly hate writing this because this restaurant has been one of my favorites for years, but this visit just did not live up to the standard I've come to expect.

We decided it was worth the gamble, and boy did we hit the jackpot. We loved the BYOB option, proudly flaunting local beers while most tables had a bougie bin of ice helping to chill their wines. As we sipped on our own version of bubbly, we started with a couple of delicious appetizers - meatballs and fried burrata. While both were great, the meatballs were the clear winner, served hot in a small cast iron skillet. Moving to the main course, the pasta ragu was another hit. It had a bit of a peppery undertone, but wasn't spicy, just a wonderful blend of spices that gave it a unique flavor. For dessert, I had an apple-based dish that was a special that night. While again another creative showing, I think I'd stick to some of the simpler options on the menu (like a Caramelized banana split - YES PLEASE)
