Visited this during the week and our service was good and the view terrific. We sat outside watching the boats. The fried fish bite appetizer was the star of the show! Who comes to a seafood place and orders chopped steak special? All three of us. The steak came with mashed potatoes and green beans. We were stuffed when we left. Captain Archie's serves it up with a nice view. Try some surf and turf or a cheeseburger with a waterfront setting. Watch the boats go by as you enjoy a cold draft. Dogs are welcome outside and they are on FIDOS web site as a top Pet owner place to eat. If your biker this place will make you smile. Service was friendly and all issues we had resolved quickly. The server was very friendly. Went over and beyond, offering g water for our pets. The food was delicious, I had the grilled shrimp taco with coleslaw. We sat out next to the boat dock and watched the jet skiers and boats pass us by. It was a hot day but the breeze did help a lot. Overall the experience was great. read more

Meet an old friend while vacationing in Myrtle to see Leroy Harper and the All Stars perform. Very cool atmosphere, huge outdoor deck and bar. Didn't try the food. Fun space for dancing in front of the stage. Beautiful boat and dock surrounding. 5 stars for the ambience and fact we went for entertainment alone. Great location, super cheap beer, live music. The food is pub food cranking out in large quantities, so just ok. But location, scenery, beer prices make it a good place to visit. Plenty of outdoor seating that is covered. Server was always around when you needed another beer. read more

We have been to Archie's 4 times now and if tonight's e per would not have happened I would have given Archie's a 5 star rating! Their food is good, the atmosphere is great and usually the service is great! But, tonight we waited for over 1 for our purser which never came! The waiter said there was an issue with the tickets going to the kitchen and we were not the only ones who's meal were late. After waiting 20 more minutes when being told the waiter talked to the manager, and still no food, seeing other people who came I. After us already being served and some leaving because they finished their meals. I went to our waiter to settle our bar bill and said we were leaving! No apologies, from management or no worries on your bar bill! We usually recommend Archie's over Boardwalk Billies, but now we will rethink this and don't know if we will be back. read more

Terrible experience here. Everyone at the bar appeared to be drunk, but they were still being served. We waited 1 hour for our food. When I complained to the manager Mr. Riggs, he blew me off. Terrible food and terrible customer service. If I could rate this place zero stars I would. My advice, stay clear of this joint. And that's all it is, a joint. read more

Their "bang bang" shrimp is bangin'. We go here often, sometimes to listen to the bands or just to grab a quick lunch or get a couple cold beers and watch the waterway. Captain Archie's provides decent food with a decent view. Constant rumble of motorcycles. Recommended by a family member. The view of the water is nice. The metal tables are rusty and the benches aren't very comfortable, however that was expected. Our waitress didn't have the greatest personality, and she also forgot to order hush puppies and an order of fries when it was asked. However she was new, and I understand that she is still learning. The food was good! The hush puppies were pretty great, and only $1.95 for an order of 8 hushpuppies. I ordered the fried flounder platter and it was good. Many people in my party ordered sandwiches and they enjoyed them. The fish tacos were described as "beast" and they looked pretty beast as well. All in all this is a good stop for lunch, however I would be fine if I never came back. It's got a biker bar theme, however it's family friendly from what I saw. If you're in the area, I would recommend trying it out! read more

Reached out to them explained the issue and one of the owners returned my call addressed the issue was assured me that would never happen again. Love this bar and grill. It's always our first stop during beach week. Indoor and outdoor seating. You can enjoy the scenery or watch the game. Live music. If I could leave zero stars I would. We got the half pound of peel and eat shrimp and the Captain Island shrimp. First off, the half pound peel and eat shrimp it was not a half pound. Second, the shrimp was over cooked and tasted like rubber. The Captain Island shrimp was even more disgusting. I wanted fried, they gave me breaded. And it wasn't even breaded properly! I got 7 pieces of breaded rubber. I wouldn't serve that shit in prison. Spent $27 on the most pitiful shrimp I've seen in my life. The service was also lacking. The guy on the phone is part deaf and likes to yell at customers, no one knew how to work the register, and it took them almost 10 minutes to give me two to go cocktail sauces. This is a fun place, great atmosphere and very casual. The wait staff is friendly and efficient. I have been at dinner and lunch and really love their lunch specials. If you are in town on Thursday, get the lunch special of pork chops, three sides with drink included. Always have a good time at Capt. Archie's, the food is good (not fancy) and the beer is cold, what more could you ask for? read more
