Food was good but the wait time was terrible. I did an online order at 4:48pm it advised be ready by 5:08 pm. I get there at 5:24 orders was ready I have to wait and additional 40 mins before it came people were coming in an out I'm still waiting for seafood feast. so I just ordered a fish sandwich from them & this SH!T is nasty ASF!! I literally eat at captain D's and I have NEVER tasted something like this before! I mean the first bite I spit the food out! My fries was room temperature & when you call up there no one answer the phone!! I know damn well I didn't spend 15 dollars on a nasty sandwich & stale room temperature fries! the grease need to be changed at this point!! Burger King fries is similar to captain Ds fries & they are always fresh!! i don't who is working but this place needs to be shut down especially if no one can answer the phone & direct a customer on what they can do Next! I am from out of town and when visiting family in Atlanta, me and my mom decided to go to Captain D's for a late lunch. Great decision. Our cashier lady (who I believe is named Aesha) was incredible. She was so sweet, double (even triple) checked our food, kept checking up on it when it was getting made, and was extremely accommodating for someone who isn't getting a tip based salary, and was also very patient and sweet and attentive, considering she had to answer phones, work drive through, and work the front counter. 5 stars, thanks for making our trip even better! Horrid wait more than 30 min every time workers usually stand around I would not go there

It's not the catch of the day but this location never fails to disappoint...service is always bad, orders incomplete. Today I ordered the deluxe seafood platter and waited 20 minutes for an order that was not complete (missing stuffed crabs). Also ordered crab cakes, checked the receipt and I was charged for them but They did not make it into the bag. Always the same shit just a different day. On May 18, 2023, I went to this establishment and two order to sampler plates. This consist of two pieces of fish, two pieces of chicken and six shrimps. When I got home and looked at my orders, the shrimps were missing. I returned to this establishment, and gave the cashier my receipt and let her know the shrimp was missing. She took my receipt and proceeded to have the two orders re-fixed. Something told me to look at my plate before I left and there was five shrimp instead of six. When I let her know, the sign said six shrimp instead of five, they proceeded to fix two more shrimp. When I received my order, it had mozzarella sticks, clams, and burnt shrimp. With this being the third time of not being able to get the order, correct, I asked for my money back. The cashier who took my receipt earlier, advised me I could not get my money back without a receipt. When I advised her you took my receipt, she rudely said I don't have your receipt. I asked to speak to the manager, and, of course, she said I am the manager. I asked her for her name. It was an unusual name, and I asked her, " how do you spell your name?" She proceeded to ask me how do I spell my name. This situation definitely went unacceptably wrong. Another customer in this establishment said you shouldn't be talking to that man that way and let me know that he would be calling in to corporate office. I left with no food and no refund. The corporate office has been called four times, just for you to be given the runaround. They tell you they are going to contact the " operator", meaning the owner of this Captain D's. I have yet to be contacted. Long story short, if you want to be robbed of your money, this is the place to go. This is the most unacceptable eating establishment I've ever been to in life. read more

I dont know whats going on at the Captain D's off Evans Mill Road but they truly have some issues. Who goes to the drive through and waits for 20 minutes for a 3 piece fish dinner? I did. Went inside on another occasion thinking I'm smart and I still waited at least ten minutes. Got my food im looking like a hyena im so hungry went to open my box and found they gave me broccoli instead of my sweet potato another 5 minutes. No happy faces here either. This is the slowest place I've ever eaten at in my life. The keep a line at drive thru when it's only 2 or 3 cars. If the food was being cooked at order I could understand that but they don't even inform you of that they just have you sitting for 15-20 minutes or more. read more

September 3rd, 2019... Went to this location (Lithonia) because I was in the area. Never will I ever visit that restaurant again. First off the lady waiting on me (Janay Johnson) was rude as can be!!! And that's a understatement. She had on a Birthday Girl button on her uniform so I told her Happy Birthday and her response was a grunt. I should have walked out then because it started off bad. After I had ordered, I decided to add the mozzarella sticks. Walked up to the counter and asked if I could put in a order. She never acknowledged me and decided to take the order of the lady beside me. I can Not believe this lady is a manager. I wouldn't let her manage anything, let alone a restaurant. I'm sure she wasn't trained to act like a witch. Soooo.. I got home and saw that she gave me tarter sauce instead of the extra butter that I asked for. We don't even use tarter sauce. I called the store and asked for the manager (which I knew was Janay from her name tag). She never apologized or even sounded sorry that I now am not going to eat the corn I had ordered. She said "Bring your receipt & we'll repack it". I asked her what was being replaced and she HUNG UP on me!!!! I called back and told her I was still talking when she hung up on me. She HUNG UP on me AGAIN!!! I was talking to her in a very calm voice when I did get to speak to her on the first call. I'm 64 yrs old and I don't deserve being treated like this. I called a 3rd time (@8:35 pm) and found that she had turned the fax machine on!!!! I want the district managers number so I can talk to them about this. I spent almost $20 there tonight and now I've lost my appetite and can't enjoy the meal I just bought my family. Was out of butter at the house is the whole reason I had asked for extra butter. This location is the pits and I will never go there again. Ever!!! A sign on the door states it's Proudly owned or managed by someone named Angel. I would not be so proud if I were Angel. Who trained this woman. And then who made her manager!!! I assume anyone that gave this location anything other than one star is either a friend of someone there or either went when this lady wasn't working at the time. Too bad I had to give it any stars. So much for taking pride in what you work hard to own only to have someone like this represent you. Her attitude was disgusting and I hope someone in corporate is reading this. The 2 meals I bought was wasted. My $20 was wasted. And I will call corporate tomorrow. The absolute worst Captain D's in Georgia. Just left the drive thru and experienced the Worst customer service... after sitting at the speaker for some time attempted to order the huge advertised sign at the drive thru of the 12 pc steamed shrimp the woman working the drive thru says "we DONT sell those shrimp and I said hold on" ummm I said ok after 3 mins she abruptly says " go ahead" I ask "do you have the spicy battered fish? "( again big ole' picture and sign advertising it on the menu board) the response " we don't have those today" .... as if I the customer have a running inventory of what you have and don't have needless to say drove 8 miles to the Captain D's in Conyers where it was a complete night and day with customer service and availability of food advertised all items were available. Do not visit the Evans mill location if you looking for good service, timeliness, cleanliness or available menu items ... if none of those tHings matter to you and you love sub par customer service, long wait times, and rude nonchalant eMployees then they ARE the spot for you read more

Not sure I even want to give it three stars but I'm being nice. Four sides growing available. Was tired appearin we don't have that. No shrimp scampi no baked potato no green beans. It was easy to ask what they really had. I received a side salad it was very old I received a ear of corn it was brown instead of yellow. And I'm assuming he was the manager are the guy working the register with his pants falling off his body was ready to end this shift I guess. This store has an 80 health rating The manager displayed bad customer service and was horrible when speaking to customers and answering pertinent questions about store ratings. Well, where do I begin lol? I have mixed feelings. The service was stellar. The ladies were right on point, order was right, and they were very friendly and made sure I had enough condiments to enjoy my food, in which most places do not, so I give the cashiers a 5 star. But help the fish please. I ordered a 4 pc meal, a kids meal and lobster rolls. My poor fish looked like it was sick if that could have been a thing. Now they did have a note on the window stating a shortage of batter or something like that --but since when does lack of batter create skinny fish? Yes the breading will be thinner but it appeared to be they had cut my fish in half and made it two pieces. No joke, not exaggerating, I had 4 long skinny pieces of fish. My grandbaby laughed and said look Nema I have a long skinny sword. Now when the baby realizes there is something wrong --we have a problem. But the food was tasty but for $23 I don't think I will be going to any Captain D's since their batter seems to create a shortage on all ends. read more

this restaurant is horribly managed. for a period of time I was going there almost everyday for lunch. this is what I saw and experienced. the ice dispenser was broken and you had to manually pull on the dispenser to make the ice stop coming out. this resulted in a couple of safety issues. #1 people were putting their fingers in the spot where ice came out. GERMS. #2 ice was going on the floor making it wet/slick. Also the ceiling was leaking in multiple places when it rained. food wise? my broccoli arrived cold to the touch about 75% of the time. I would complain and sometimes they replaced it but the last few times I went there the manager argued with me about it and never gave me warm broccoli. the very last time I went I was told I would get some warm broccoli and never was. They just wanted me to go away and not bother them so I have complied and will never go back. read more

It has been a while since I came to this store because the last time there me and my family members develop flu like symptoms after eating from here. That same day of ordering the family meal, when I walked in the manager looked at me as if scared or surprised, then he disappeared farther into the kitchen. I assume he thought he knew who I was and based on how we felt after we ate this food, he probably did something that was evil. This is my opinion because I have not gotten sick before from this location or another Captain D's restaurant. I have not been back and I don't plan on coming back to this location. Like the other locations, this place sells both bad and good food of the same kind, what I mean is if you order the same thing on different days the results may not be the same. The employees is another issue at which sometimes they don't know what items are on the menu and accepting coupons is another task. Each time I went inside of this location the ceiling was leaking or looked as if it just finish leaking right where you order. Also when you ask an employee behind the counter for extra tartar sauce or any other sauces, you may get some hesitation. I have experienced this problem at more than one location of Captain D's.
