I go to Olive garden and get a meal that I will take home and fill up on the soup, mainly because I really do love the Zuppa Toscana, thats the main reason I go there, the meal is just a bonus. So I'm a big boy and usually dont eat anything all morning, so I can eat 4 or 5 bowls, especially as they fill it less and less with each bowl to trick me I guess. I would actually be out of there sooner if they filled them to the top as I am eating that Zuppa Toscana deliciousness till I cant. Here is the kicker, the last couple bowls are awfully watery, you can tell they pour some water in there, or add less stuff to the broth, or something as the broth is even mostly clear and you can taste the difference. That may only be the one in Covington GA that does it, but they have done it several times with different servers, so I am convinced its a policy or directed by the manager. Another thing, from what was mentioned to me by a server who asked me to pay for the meal early and she would still serve me, the servers get dinged if the person is at the table more than 29 minutes, so they have a big incentive to brow beat and avoid your eyes for refills hoping you will leave. Still the service is super good, I haven't had a less than stella experience from the people that work there. The watered down last couple bowls still tastes alright so I would still recommend going here if you like Olive Garden. read more

Until today, I haven't been to Olive Garden in about 20 years (I had a gift card). I remember why. It's still not good. I had shrimp Alfredo. The sauce was bland and flavorless, and the pasta was hard, stuck together and discolored on top, like it had been sitting there for a while before being served. The soup was also flavorless and bland. No salad due to cyclospora outbreak - the main reason I went. The bread sticks are pathetic. Even the hard-as-a-rock butter didn't help. Hostess didn't want to seat us, and then we waited 10 minutes at the table waiting to be served. The manager was not super apologetic at our plight of being on the road for 13 hours and just wanting a decent meal. I would skip this restaurant, because they are not inclined to decent customer service. read more

The food was good, just took a lot longer than expected took 35 minutes from order to table. Service was great Sienna did a great job of checking in and extremely friendly. Surprisingly quiet even though they were a little busy, there was no wait time for seating. Enjoyable experience, but honestly I like the quality of the food at Johnny's Pizza better. Sorry just my opinion, however if you're a fan of Olive Garden give it a try. I did get a a grater for $20 with a block of Parmesan loaded. read more

What's happening with this restaurant? It open 6-7 months ago. When first opened a 30 min wait was not uncommon. Today, Saturday 12/6/25 at 5:30, there was no problem getting seated. Facility not even half full. I ordered spaghetti with meatballs and meat sauce. GF order spaghetti from the create your own. Only difference, she order with angel hair pasta. Mine was just warm. GF said hers was fine. After a few bites I sent it back. Told waitress to but it in the microwave. She came back and told me they were making a whole new dish that they didn't have a microwave. WHAT? No microwave. I would have taken it home. New meal arrives which was better. Last week had lunch with my sister at this location. We both ordered lunch portions of spaghetti and meatballs balls which came out luke warm. The mgr came by later. Asked how everything was. I told her my complaint of warm food. She was surprised as the waitress did not inform her. Mgr took note and would talk with kitchen staff. We departed about 6:30. Restaurant occupancy about 33%. As I passed the Longhorn which is literally right next door, their parking lot was packed full. I've had poor service in the past with this location, now warm food and smaller portions. Good food, not a bad price but service has got to get better...can't get much worse. So slow, Tamia was friendly but she took our order and that was about it. We had to ask the manager for water after our glasses were dry for at least 10mins. Had to ask another passing server for a to-go box. Restaurant was nearly empty too on a Saturday evening at 7:30pm. No wonder. Servers and kitchen staff were at the front order kiosk hooting and laughing and talking about rolling blunts. Shame. read more

So far so good - big problems turning and busing tables while people wait too long. Lots of them empty but not cleared or cleaned. Empty dirty tables and an entrance massively crowded with people waiting to be seated. Servers just standing around because they have no tables to wait on. Should be all hands on deck to get these tables ready. 45 minutes on a Sunday afternoon? Manager should be doing it and directing everyone else too. But food is surprisingly good and servers are great. I hope it stays good and they figure out speed and efficiency now that the major training and extra staff is gone. They seem to be floundering a little with getting people seated. read more

We visited the new Olive Garden in Covington and we were pleasantly surprised. There was about a 10 minute wait to be seated. The restaurant is nicely decorated and the staff were welcoming and friendly. We ordered an appetizer which was delicious. The salad and breadsticks were tasty. However, the main course was not very good. I ordered Chicken Parmigiana and My Husband had the Classico Lasagne. My dish was too salty and the chicken breast were thin and tasted like they came from a frozen food package. We will visit again, and probably sit at the bar for drinks and appetizers. read more

We have been here plenty of times since their opening and my husband orders the same thing each time. This time in particular his portion size was that of a kid's meal. Not exaggerating. I wish I had taken a picture. We tell our server Zach who was awesome btw and he was glad to have them refix it. However the manager Ms Cici who was unprofessional in appearance and the way she handled the situation was a disgrace and so disappointing. She went on to say that it was on a lighter portion side of the menu which was a lie and that nothing could be done. Don't increase the prices and decrease the portions. Although I don't think that was the case. I think it was just Ms. Cici who had a problem and from the looks of her she would be disappointed if someone presented this meal to her. Please get better management. She doesn't even know the menu. read more

Our first visit to the new OG in Covington, was to night, typically we do not eat out thru the week, however, tonight was my Birthday, Our Server Tyler, he was amazing, attentive, his personality and drive to do his best was great, we got our food on time, and he made sure we had everything we needed. I will come back because of Tyler and if he is there, I will be asking for him. The only thing i did not like was at the end of our night as we were getting ready to check out the floor supervisor/manager?? was rude to Tyler because he forgot her name and I felt what she had to say should have been done in private, not in front of customers and employees should never be belittled or embarrassed ever, it was a busy night for everyone not just her. The food was good EXCEPT the Chicken Nokia, we got 1 Nokia and 1 small pcs of chicken in each bowl, we had 3 bowls so it should not be called Chicken Nokia soup, it should be called creamy chicken broth. The hostess was sweet and seated us but didn't give us a rundown of any specials. The food was good but not great. I ordered a bottle of aqua panna still water and was served San Pellegrino sparkling water instead. It awhile to get the water and I was unusually thirsty so I didn't ask for the still water. Our food arrived quickly and was piping hot but it arrived well before our salads were served. I observed some confusion among the servers. The way the servers are given tables is enough to confuse them all. Some customers were not served in a timely manner because of the confusion. As for ambiance; it's an Olive Garden and they are all very similar. Please note: This is a newly opened Olive Garden. They are definitely still working out the kinks. My wife and I went to the newly opened Olive Garden in Covington. We were seated within 15 minutes, the seating area furnishings were new, fresh, and clean. Our server was spot-on for the first 20 minutes, the salad and breadsticks were delicious. We ordered stuffed Ziti Fritta as an appetizer, it was okay but not great. Then things went downhill. After an extended time, our server returned and said the ordering system went down and cleared all orders. We waited and waited some more before finally getting our food. It was very disappointing. My wife ordered the "Create Your Own Pasta" dish with fried chicken. The marinara sauce was as bland as what you get out of a can, fried chicken was just a thin sliced preformed patty. She took a few bites and pushed it away. I ordered the "Tour of Italy" dish. The chicken parmigiana was the same thin performed chicken patty with a bland marinara sauce. The Fettuccine Alfredo was good and my wife ate it. The last part of the dish was "Lasagna Classico". It was okay but just okay. This was not worth the price, we are not going back. read more

I wish I could rate them higher! We went ON Valentine's Day evening fully expecting a long wait for both a table and our food. We checked in online and upon arrival there was only a 45 minute wait. Immediately upon entering, I received a compliment on my outfit from a hostess. We were taken to our table, where another friendly hostess offered another compliment. Making a girl feel special on a special day is a huge flex! Our waiter was Hunter and he was soooo friendly and on top of every thing !!! The frozen strawberry mango margaritas taste like sherbet, expertly made so the alcohol isn't over powering. The appetizers and food came out so quick. FRESH, hot breadsticks. Every single thing, from the service, to the workers, to the food to the over all vibe of the restaurant contributed to an AMAZING date with my boyfriend.
