Surprisingly good banh mi. I never realize they sold Banh mi, Roasted pig and roasted duck here. Banh mi Pha lau is my favorite. Flavorful, good portion or really decent price. Although I'm not a resident of the area, I have a preference for purchasing roasted pork and duck whenever I visit Eden Center. The roasted pork is exceptionally crispy, while the roasted duck is exceptionally delectable. I intend to visit Eden Center next week. However, I'm unable to locate this restaurant on the restaurant list. I attempted to contact them via phone, but the number I dialed was unsuccessful. Great food and excellent customer service!!!! I will go back here for sure with a bigger group to share how great this food was . I ordered half grill duck, half peaking duck, bbq pork, and crispy skinned pork. I ordered noodles with broth, and fried rice and a sausage that they make from scratch and a drink and so pickled fruit cup thing he said was traditional and wow!! It was delicious if you like a little heat. Mushroom gravy with the duck drippings made the perfect dipping sauce . Omg I can't wait to go back again!!! I ordered some fish (mackerel) and chips from here. The food and the sauce it came with were meh/okay overall. I liked the light crispiness of the fried fish, but they kind of cooked the fish with a bit too much salt. The service was great. I really liked the guy who took my order and payment. Strangely addictive char sui (roasted pork) banh mi. Other shops @ Eden Center are better known for banh mi but you can't beat the roasted pork from Captain Saigon. Not fatty like other shops. read more

We had set out to come to Eden Center to go to another one of our usual restaurants that we go to. We saw that Captain Saigon was new so we took a look. One of the waitresses said they were having a sale on crabs during their grand opening weekend 23-24 November 2019. $10 for a dozen female crabs and $20 for a dozen male crabs. They were delicious! Come soon before they go back up to $45 for females and $60 for males. Our waitress was very friendly and helpful with her suggestions! You will not be disappointed with your experience. read more

I should have gone to another place from the moment I called to make reservation because the person that answered the phone kept telling me her name for my reservation . The one star is for the decent ramen and calamari, that is it! The place should only be recognized as a seafood market and not as a restaurant because none of the dishes we ordered was cooked correctly unless you like super dried out lobsters, crabs, shrimps, or not have it served at all because they forgot to put in the order. So that is the food review. Service wise, okay at best. Have to asked multiple times for the same items before we got it. No checking in and I truly believe the waiter is also the cook . I did voice my concerns to, I believe, is either the manager or owner. He offered to not charge us for the rubber dungeons crab without us asking. I appreciated that even though it wasn't my intention. I just want to make sure management knows about our displease visit. Those of us that loves seafood and also cooks them at home knows that they are very delicate and requires attention when preparing it...well, for us our foods tasted like set it and forgot it understand the customer ask for their orders. With all that said, it all very well be my timing that I visited on a Saturday night where both server and cook called in sick and the waiter have to do everything. Oh, did I mention we were the only customers in there? Last weekend, I saw a new restaurant was running the Grand Opening. I tried their Patio BBQ for some seafood and a Geoduck Sashimi. Their seafood was fresh and they could make sauces by your request. The staffs were helpful to recommended, they had crabs for special prizes. Only 20$/dozen for big male crab and 10$/dozen for females which are amazing in town. read more

Not sure how did we walk-in to this restaurant and decided to eat there from the first place. The waiter didn't wear a mask through the whole meal. A couple of times he was very close to my kids and made me very uncomfortable. I have two younger kids and they are not vaccinated. If you have the same concern as I do don't go there. read more

Was super excited to see seafood ramen under $10 but it was kind of gross. Broth for the ramen and udon were under seasoned. The sea food was definitely fresh but in the noodles they were over cooked, leaving them chewy and with a metallic taste. Everything else was kind of unmemorable. They're new though so hopefully they'll get it together. Fairly priced if you're just going for noodles (but again, blegh) but the seafood behind the glass is pricey. Staff was nice. read more

My wife and I happened to walk by the restaurant and decided to come in just to see how it would be. As soon as we entered the place, the vibes made us instantly happy: good music, clean and fresh. We were greeted with happy faces. We ordered four dishes of seafood. Each piece of the food was so carefully prepared, so enticing to the eyes and tinglingly tasteful in the mouth. They brought out many different sauces, served on small bowls. Each of them had its own distinctive color, taste, and gentle fragrance. A few days later, a friend and I kept coming back to try the many other dishes on the menu, including the roasted quail, shrimps on skewers, combination egg noodle soup, the tasteful regular roast duck, the fantastic pepper roast duck, and the crispy and juicy roast pig. Everything and everyone were all so wonderful that we decided to call Captain Saigon Seafood our "Home" Restaurant! read more

This was my first visit to this budding restaurant in the heart of the eden center. The patio area was closed so I ate inside the main dining area. My party and I were greeted by Zoey standing at the counter waiting to hand us menues. The main area has a great fish market feel where you can purchase fess fish or order a meal. Specialties are taped directly to the glass we tried the calamari, teriyaki salmon, and the spicy seafood ramen. The calamari was slightly over cooked but the salmon and ramen were both excellent. Zoey was friendly and attentive our entire visit. This restaurant is still developing but I'm anxious to revisit and see how they develop and move forward. read more

To start off this place seems to have opened not too long ago, so maybe they are working out the kinks. It operates more like a cafeteria/kitchen where you should order at the front, and they will deliver to you table. It's very cold in there because the seafood is on display and on ice. I will say that the seafood itself tastes fresh, however the price for the crab legs is rediculous. I think it was $24.99/lb which is pricey compared to other local places. There was no special seasoning, you are probably better off buying at the grocery store and steaming yourself. The fried fish was a good deal for $10, but nothing comes with it, i believe you have to be pay extra for rice to eat with it. The calamari was overcooked, chewy, and pricey ($8) for 9 pieces. The vibe is just very strange, cold, and uncomfortable. Our experience wasn't great, no one explained and there were no signs at the front that you had to order at the register first, the runners didn't really say much either. They clearly have some operational things to work out. There's food supplies right out in the open for everyone to see, cardboard boxes stacked on the wall. I honestly felt like I was sitting in a commercial kitchen freezer. We probably won't be back, I do hope for their sake they lower their prices and work on seasoning and portions. read more
