Great food and excellent customer service!!!! I will go back here for sure with a bigger group to share how great this food was . I ordered half grill duck, half peaking duck, bbq pork, and crispy skinned pork. I ordered noodles with broth, and fried rice and a sausage that they make from scratch and a drink and so pickled fruit cup thing he said was traditional and wow!! It was delicious if you like a little heat. Mushroom gravy with the duck drippings made the perfect dipping sauce . Omg I can't wait to go back again!!! A few pictures below, once I was full I needed up ordering more to eat later

The owner was very helpful and gave wonderful customer service. He also gave feedback on what I was ordering. He also gave me several home made sauces that were delicious. All of the dishes I got were extremely delicious to my tastebuds. Thank you!

This place is like a hidden gem in Eden Center. Amazing food!! The roast duck and roast pork are very good!! They also serve Hu tieu and mi egg noodles.

I ordered some fish (mackerel) and chips from here. The food and the sauce it came with were meh/okay overall. I liked the light crispiness of the fried fish, but they kind of cooked the fish with a bit too much salt. The service was great. I really liked the guy who took my order and payment. He was so patient and kind. I didn't stay to eat. I ordered my food to-go, but from what I saw, the place seemed pretty well-kept.

We had set out to come to Eden Center to go to another one of our usual restaurants that we go to. We saw that Captain Saigon was new so we took a look. One of the waitresses said they were having a sale on crabs during their grand opening weekend 23-24 November 2019. $10 for a dozen female crabs and $20 for a dozen male crabs. They were delicious! Come soon before they go back up to $45 for females and $60 for males. Our waitress was very friendly and helpful with her suggestions! You will not be disappointed with your experience.

    Lobster!!!

Garlic onion lobster is made only upon request. Which i loved. Taste really fresh and is good quality lobster. Im a shrimp lover so obviously got the fried shrimp. And that was tasty also. Crispy and not too bready. When you walk in you can either order at the register and sit down or you can sit down and get served. There is a section that is self served with different condiments and forks, knives. Etc. but overall food was good and didnt have a bad experience.

Last weekend, I saw a new restaurant was running the Grand Opening. I tried their Patio BBQ for some seafood and a Geoduck Sashimi. Their seafood was fresh and they could make sauces by your request. The staffs were helpful to recommended, they had crabs for special prizes. Only 20$/dozen for big male crab and 10$/dozen for females which are amazing in town.

    Seafood ramen and udon
    Joe L.

Was super excited to see seafood ramen under $10 but it was kind of gross. Broth for the ramen and udon were under seasoned. The sea food was definitely fresh but in the noodles they were over cooked, leaving them chewy and with a metallic taste. Everything else was kind of unmemorable. They're new though so hopefully they'll get it together. Fairly priced if you're just going for noodles (but again, blegh) but the seafood behind the glass is pricey. Staff was nice.

Something is very off with the (lack of) protein quality at the Falls Church location. The head-on shrimp were smallish - some were 21-25 count, some were 26-30 count, and all had an off-putting *green* poop line. The clams were inedible and tiny. Half of the clams were missing from their shells. They shouldn't be sold. When I showed the poor quality of the clams to the server, they offered a 20% discount - clearly they don't get it. What keeps me loyal to the brand is their signature Hot N Juicy Special sauce (mod: extra garlic). No other Viet Cajun (even in Houston or wherever) comes close to the depth and complexity of the Hot N Juicy Special sauce. For now, the winning move is to order a some sausage in a cup with Hot N Juicy Special medium sauce w/extra garlic TO GO, and sautée it with a bag of defrosted Costco head-on 16-20 count shrimp, or a few dozen live Cherrystone clams from HMart. There is so much potential here. The sauce is boss. Solve your protein problem!

For $57.99, you get rounds of seafood boils plus three appetizers each round, and the food really does keep coming. Everything is customizable, which I loved -- extra garlic, more spice, sauce on the side, they've got you covered. The seafood boil was flavorful and coated in fresh garlic, and the Mix-All flavor (Cajun, garlic butter, lemon pepper, and Old Bay combined) was my favorite -- highly recommend getting a side of sauce for dipping. My favorite appetizers were the gumbo, crab balls, and lemon pepper wings. The wings were crispy and well-seasoned, and the gumbo was comforting and full of flavor. They also have great drink options. The margarita flight (Mango, Strawberry, Spicy Cucumber, and Guava) came highly recommended and did not disappoint. If you like something sweet and fruity, definitely try the Pink Paradise cocktail. Overall, Ocean Shack is a fun spot for game day -- plenty of TVs, good vibes, and the food just keeps coming. If you're a seafood lover or looking for a Football Sunday hangout, this is definitely worth checking out.

My friend is craving dim sum after being in the country, visiting from Hong Kong for 3 weeks. My friend is quite tan, his mom is Filipino, but he grew up in HK and speaks mostly canto and Tagalog. We tried speaking Cantonese to the staff who are speaking it to each other, so they clearly can. My friend has perfect Cantonese. Mine is ok but I am also very clearly Chinese. They replied in broken English instead. One waitress looked at my friend and handed us forks. So clearly, some racism/colorism in the staff. Context: lots of Filipinos in HK are maids and generally looked down on, so not surprised this happened here. The food was mushy and gross. The shrimp in the cheung fan was grayish. It felt like they had this ready early in the morning and reheated it for later. Siu mai was falling apart. Cha siu bao was good but how do you mess that one up? I've gotten take out from this place before in the past and I always forget why I try to not come here, they forget something every time. At this point I'm sure they're doing it on purpose, like little thieves. Anyway, this place has the advantage of being close, with so little dim sum options in the area, unless you want to make the trip to Tysons or Vienna. Or Maryland. One staff member was laying down on a bunch of chairs nearby loudly watching something on her phone. Any other day, I wouldn't complain about that, everyone deserves a break. But given the food quality and the clear racism in the staff, they should be called out for everything. As with any Asian restaurant, feel free to treat me like trash if the food is good. But this place fails in both places.

Unfortunately, the experience was underwhelming. Our server seemed uninterested and disengaged throughout the meal. Communication was difficult, and when I asked for a virgin mojito, she wasn't even sure whether the bar could make one and had to check. The food arrived quickly, so speed wasn't an issue. However, the presentation and value were disappointing. I ordered the rockfish, which was about $36. The portion was quite small, with a large amount of pesto underneath and no carbohydrate or side option included. The fish itself was decent, but not memorable enough to justify the price. The atmosphere is lively, especially on a Friday evening. Even outside seating can be quite noisy due to the crowds and conversations around you. If you're looking for a place to have drinks, meet friends, or take a date for cocktails, Salt Line may be a good choice. As a seafood restaurant, however, I think there are many better options in Arlington and Northern Virginia. Based on my experience, I would rate the service 2 out of 5 stars and the food around 3 to 3.5 out of 5 stars. Would I return? Probably not. There are simply better seafood restaurants in the area that offer stronger food, better value, and more attentive service.
