I had purchased and gold chain from this jewelry store, and on the receipt it says 14 day exchange only, and when I wanted to exchange it with receipt in hand I was told no, with a smirk like I'm crazy, and I said well the Receipt says 14 day exchange only policy and she told me we can't take it back because of Covid, lol but yet none of them had mask on they let people try on jewelry take it off no hand sanitizer in there they don't even honor what they have written in bold letters on the receipt I would never shop there again and don't recommend it. read more

Captains treasure chest is wonderful. I've sized two rings there. Once there was a small line (they have a 4 person limit I believe) and the manager came out and waited with us. Having said that, I took my merchandise in for repair and since my last visit, which was not too long ago, they doubled the price of repairs. Very disappointed in this store. I took my platinum wedding band ( a family heirloom) in to get it re sized. I noticed it had a little line cut into it on each side but didn't say anything. A few months later I noticed the shank of the ring started turning gold. I tookit back in and told them what was going on. They informed me that they send their jewelry out to get resized and were un aware my ring was platinum. Isn't that their job, to know what kind of metal they are dealing with? The lady at the front told me I could pay almost $200 to have it fixed. I don't think I should have to pay for their mistake. Even though they were nice they had poor customer service skills and did not handle the situation properly. I will never go back nor will I ever refer this place to anyone. read more
