crab cake and crab cake

Best crab cake ever...no filling just pure lumps! It's darn shame that yelp requires me to type more because the only thing you need is the image to go along! Nice job Capt'n Chucky!

i dont have the most sophisticated pallette but when you compare the crab cakes here with the ones at wegmans, it blows wegmans away. i love wegmans too and was surprised at the margin. just get their signature one which i can't recall the name. there's one with old bay seasoning and i do not endorse that one. just get their signature crab cake and thank me later. oh also the guy in charge, i believe his name is frank, he has had the COOLEST past career in his life. ask him sometime. so damn cool.

Okie!!!! Boca Del Mar needs way more hype than it's getting. This is a Montgomeryville, PA gem that…read moreflew under my radar for way too long. Walked in and the vibe was already a win, warm and inviting, the kind of place where you just relax right into the vibe, or head to the large bar and watch some World Cup action. Went for lunch. Service was on point too, attentive but never annoying about it. Friendly and had real suggestions when asked about faves. They brought out complimentary ceviche and honestly, incredible start. Fresh, acid balanced perfectly so you actually taste the fish, clean, instead of just lime juice and spice. And can we talk about the rice? Sounds basic, looked normie, but it was somehow the most flavorful part of the whole meal. This flavor bomb looked plain but IYKYK that this level of execution just looks simple. The rice alone will have you thinking about indulging your inner fat kid and ordering extra to take home. Like the dessert that you'll likely skip because the portions are filling. Ps. Get the flan! We went all in and ordered the seafood chimichanga, steak, shrimp fajitas, and guac on the side. Everything was cooked exactly right. Nice char on the grilled stuff, proteins juicy and tender, nothing dry, nothing overdone. The sauces were bright and punchy too, tasted like rich Mexican flavors with that fresh from the sea quality paired with exceptionally grilled seafood and tender meat. If you're anywhere near Montgomeryville and haven't been, fix that. This place deserves a crowd.

The waitress was very sweet, and brought us a second serving of ceviche with really crisp and fresh chips. They said they made them in house My husband ate the Mexican sushi - and declared it was some of the best sushi he's had in a long time. Honestly- it was deep fried. It doesn't take much to impress him. I loved their food- if we're ever in the area- we would go back!

I want this joint to stay in business, so I'm doing a long form review and trying to get the spelling right. If you're unsure what to get, just go out there and try some random dish. I've been doing that for a few months and everything's been surprisingly good. If you're terrified, the Wuxi sweet & sour chicken is closest to a General Tso, and the Kung Pao is what it says it is, but expect Sichuan peppercorns and good heat. I can recommend the guobao sweet and sour fish, the sauce is homemade and has a lovely marmalade taste. The duck hot and sour soup is nothing like Americanized Chinese food hot and sour. The dry fried eggplant is witchcraft in vegetable form. Cumin lamb is delightful and massive. Dry pot hand ripped cabbage is great. One understated option is the peking duck combos. The combo for 2 is really enough for 3, and the combo for 4 is easily a 6 way split. Oh yeah, be careful entering and exiting. 309 is unforgiving.

This restaurant is very nice and clean. We were seated immediately…read more We had everything rice- it was very good. Garlic eggplant was very good and tasty. Chicken with mint- the chicken bits were spicy. And the mint was not for me. I just brushed them off. Steamed burrata fish- the fish was very good, not dry. The only down side was, it was steamed with the fish scales on Salt and pepper shrimp- was good but the size of the shrimp was very disappointing Beef chow fun- was a bit dry, not much beef I highly recommend this restaurant. The food is good and tasty.

My Mom is in a wheelchair and it was no problem to accommodate her seating Service Attentive and friendly. Day rocked it. Menu Note-great M-F happy hour-food and beverages! We had the new orleans salmon-which deserves special mention-the creole cajun butter sauce was AMAZING!!! I wanted to lick the plate. Juicy salmon with this awesome sauce, shrimp, and diced tomatoes-, resting on a bed of garlic mashed potatoes-choice of 2 sides-i had the steamed broccoli and Brussel sprouts-generous portions! Of course we were immediately server water and warm cheesy biscuits-even offered some to go! The grilled salmon is a large slice-also with 2 sides-the broccoli is perfectly steamed and tender without alit of salt-nice. The cole slaw is fresh and not too sauce soupy-just the right amount. Plenty of food! My Mom could not let the meal end without dessert-our fav, chocolate brownie overboard never disappoints. 3 warm half. squares of chocolate chip brownies topped with vanilla ice cream and chocolate sauce. So yummy. There is the all you can eat shrimp feast with 3 choices and refills. The summer seafood boil is going on. Check out the lobster trio.
