The food is so good. Chicken Risotto is my favorite... the chicken is perfectly crispy and the sauce pairs so well with the risotto. I highly recommend anything with the brisket which is so flavorful and tender. The bacon wrapped meatloaf is excellent and their signature Bloody Mary sauce is out of this world. Went here with my mother for Thanksgiving last year and had the worst "food" of my life. We got there, there was no one out front to seat us. We stood there for a good 15 mins waiting for someone. The place wasn't even half full. The service was slow and our server was not pleasant. It was a buffet and the food was so overcooked it was literally inedible. Rock had potatoes, extremely dry turkey etc. I couldn't even chew some of it. The sticky tables and must smell didn't help, and there was no buzz about the place at all. We discovered this gem of a restaurant on Christmas Eve, 2018. We enjoyed a delicious meal in a relaxing and festive atmosphere. The food was delicious and made from scratch by the owner and chef, Theo. We continued to put this restaurant on top of our list and always experience excellent food and service. For the past 5 years, we've hosted our company Christmas party in their back room and look forward to booking our next party. During 2021-2023, we hosted a large group of people the first Friday of each month. Dave, the restaurant manager/bar tender/server was always gracious and accommodating to whatever we need. So I'll be honest...I was skeptical to host a 70th birthday dinner party here because of the mixed reviews on the food. However, the location and ambiance was what I was looking for. After expressing my concerns to Dave, he encouraged me to trust him and his staff...I'm glad that I did! We had 19 people and were in the back room. The place was clean and inviting. The flat bread and salad were a great start to the night. We had preselected a menu which consisted of four main entrees to choose from: chicken parm, brisket, crab cakes and chicken risotto. I intentionally asked everyone how their dish was and every person said that they enjoyed their meal (trust me, my family would not just say that). The portions were plentiful. The kids had a few choices from the kids menu and enjoyed theirs as well. The staff were very attentive and pleasant....Dave is quite the jokester :) I would absolutely trust them with another event and look forward to going back for a dinner visit. read more

Whatever was in it was so finely minced that I could not taste the crab at all. I asked for no garlic, but there was clearly garlic in the vegetables. In my opinion garlic doesn't mix well with crab. I was in about 3 weeks ago for lunch. This place smells like mildew and the tables are apparently always sticky because of the humidity or so I was told. I thought the soup and crab cakes were good until I left and thought I was going to have to pull over from feeling so nauseous. After getting sick when I got home, I continued to feel nauseous and dizzy for the next week or so I experienced headaches and overall didnt feel well. Still not sure if it was from the mold in this place or if the crab cakes were spoiled. Im also still undecided on weather or not I'll be contacting the health department because I feel like it's my fault for not going with my gut. I should have walked out before I even sat down. I drive past this place daily and by the looks of the parking lot they will not be in business this time next year so I guess it makes sense why they don't bother replacing their sticky tables. I was in last Saturday for dinner and my experience was just okay. The staff was super friendly and inviting, service was prompt. We got the coconut shrimp appetizer, which was fantastic! The sauce that came with it was sweet and flavorless tho.. the roasted red pepper salsa? on the plate was an interesting addition, but went well with the coconut shrimp. I got the BBQ Bourbon Burger and a side Caesar. The burger itself was unremarkable - not awful, but not flavorful either. The pork belly piece that came on top needed to be cooked just a little longer. The salad had those red/brown edges on the leaves and the dressing was just okay. Two things that I could not ignore: 1- the overabundance of flies. Mostly fruit flies. The whole restaurant just feels like it needs to be aired out and cleaned really well. 2- the cloth napkins smelled like they had only been rinsed and dried. Not clean smelling at all! We had dinner at the Red Cedar Grill last night, Friday, September 27th for my daughters birthday. TERRIBLE!! The service was the worst. First just walking in the smell was atrocious! it smelled liked a locker room and wet musty rug. The beer list was not as it was shown online and of the 5 beers on the draft list the first one we ordered they didn't have. The table was sticky and dirty and they decided to clean it after they sat us!! We ordered and when they served our meals they did not give us utensil or napkins, we had to flag the waiter(if you want to call him that) down so we could eat. My husband got the Chicken Alfredo and they served it with a soup spoon!!(not kidding). The chicken nachos had maybe 4 small squares of chicken and the plate was all chips. The burger was burnt on the outside and the roll was so stale it was actually flaking and breaking as I ate. Then we waited for the check for over 20 minutes (with our food plates still in front of us) while the waiter sat at the bar on his phone. Ive never wrote a review like this, but felt I must warn other patrons in the area. NOT WORTH the$$ and certainly not a pleasant atmosphere. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT waste your time or money!
