Use the door we were directed not to open. Small issue. Let's move on. We were the only ones in the dining room so you would expect stellar service. Not quite. The person who seated us was great. The waitress was pleasant enough in demeanor. The ceviche special tasted like it was made last night. The salmon special was a bit overdone for me but not dry and I'm not that picky so I it was ok. I didn't like the seasonal vegetable which was a spicy corn which was not fresh corn (tasted frozen) and overpowered the rest of the items on my plate. I would have like the option to substitute for the broccoli they always have on the menu. We declined dessert but asked for coffee. By this time it was noon. Coffee is my thing and I know how long ago it was brewed by color. The coffee was a couple of hours old. I drank it nonetheless and asked for a second cup when the waitress brought the check hoping for a fresh pot. She ignored our request because she came back for payment and I asked again. She grudgingly brought us a second but alas, it too was from the old pot. There is no excuse for old coffee at the beginning of service. Food was just ok. Service needs help.
