My husband and I were in Maui for our Babymoon, and we booked a last minute maternity photo shoot with Summer. We were so lucky they were available! Not only were they available, but they were also super helpful and flexible - I was so worried about the weather because the forecast was so inconsistent. But Becky was very understanding and patient with my constant emailing and gave us options and back up plans. My family had beach portraits done by Capture Aloha Photography during our Maui vacation, and we were very pleased with the level of professionalism shown by Summer and Becky, from the booking process to the photo shoot at Kapalua Bay, to the timely delivery of the online photo gallery. Both Summer and Becky were a pleasure to work with during the photo shoot. My husband has trouble walking and standing for long periods of time, which presented some difficulty for him in navigating the beach and surrounding area during the shoot, and Becky graciously went to a nearby location to get a folding chair for him so he could sit and rest as needed. Summer took over 100 shots in numerous poses and backdrops, and every single photo was simply stunning! My 17-year-old son (who is quite the ham) is a senior in high school, and Summer did an impromptu senior portrait session for him after we wrapped up the family photo shoot. My family and I were in Maui celebrating my parents' 40th wedding anniversary, and we decided to have family portraits taken to mark the special occasion. Months ago we had planned a family photo shoot on the beach in Maui during our vacation. The day of our planned photo shoot our photographer (NOT Capture Aloha) cancelled. We quickly called several photographers that morning and Capture Aloha was amazingly helpful in making our photo shoot come true. They were very flexible with the last minute date and time and had a wonderful location planned which was close to where we were staying which we so appreciated since we didn't have much time before we were headed home. During our family trip to Maui we wanted to capture some wonderful moments with our kids and asked Summer and Becky from Capture Aloha Photography to spend some time one afternoon to do this. The pictures were truly amazing and the way in which Summer and Becky worked with us and our kids to capture the pictures was awesome. Summer is extremely focused on details and he really looks for the right setting, the right position, the right lighting and the right moment to get the picture. While we originally had another location selected for our shoot, the weather that week was unpredictable for sunset, and received a timely call from Jelena with the current weather conditions and suggested changing to Baby Beach since it was not raining there. This review is long overdue. Becky and Summer are the sweetest couple and amazing and professional photographers to work with. I'm so glad we chose them. They were so easy to work with and responds to email promptly. My family was flying into Maui for a family vacation. I looked into photographers around Kapulua that had to be local since our 1yo son doesn't like car rides. Becky and Summer were willing to go anywhere we wanted and we ended up at a location less than 10m away from our condo. They were so good at not just capturing family photos but individual couples photos as well as smaller group photos (me, my husband, and my son). At the end we had a surprise baby announcement and Becky and Summer knew all about it and helped us captured the beautiful moment. Funny thing is, they are SO good that me and my mother-in-law booked them separately as a surprise family photo shoot. So we both individually looked on their site, loved their work, I communicated by email and she did via phone calls and we both ended up booking them.
