What a nice establishment, I came for a pickup order so we did not sit. There was bar seating and table seating available. It was crowded on a week day, so that was a good sign that the place is supported. I enjoyed the live music which made me want to stay. The wings were delish. Another review for Caputi's: still loving this place but thought I would update with even more information. They do .75¢ wings on Tuesdays and the flavors- to die for. Newest favorite is the monthly flavor of the month, a maple peach bbq (may be messing up the name!). It rivals the cattleman's and honey garlic parm for me. The chicken finger sub we got medium and is the perfect heat. McKenzie Cat Maddie and Brittany are some of our favorite bartenders around. Also adding to my reviews that they do a weekly dessert and this weeks tuxedo cake was off the charts. The desserts come from Kevin's catering in Kenmore. This is a really cool bar. From the outside, it looks like it's going to be a run of the mill locals bar. The inside is decked out in funky neon signs, vintage posters, and just a really fun vibe. There's darts, pool, and pin ball. The building is connected to Candyman pizza, and the menu is really good. We ordered some cocktails (which were absolutely delicious), some beers (great draft list), and some snacks (which were super tasty!) I got a loganberry lemonade cocktail. The cocktail was fruity and refreshing and tasted like summer in a cup! We ordered fried Mac and cheese, pizza logs, and a pizza. The fried Mac and cheese balls were massive and covered in a tangy barbecue sauce. The pizza logs were standard. The pizza was on a thin crust with a bubbly outside. It was a super delicious artisan styler pizza. SO GOOD. Our waitress was also the bartender so we had to close out at the bar which was no problem. We had a great time playing darts. Ordered chicken fingers with fries and a chicken quesadilla. Fries were in a puddle of grease and they do not serve plain blue cheese. Apparently they make their own and they add spices and garlic! This is Buffalo we eat our wings and fingers with regular blue cheese! I tasted it, and it was pretty gross, not kid friendly at all! The chicken quesadilla was decent but a little dry. However, Caputi's pub is a special bar/restaurant that is owed special treatment. During the insane period of time that was known as the Covid disaster, this establishment demanded (without any legal authority) to know what peoples' private medical information was. If you did not disclose your private legally-protected medical information to the person at the door during that time, thereby forfeiting your right to medical privacy and bodily autonomy then you were not permitted into their restaurant/bar. I have stayed true to my response, which was "no I will not divulge that information to you and I will never step foot in your establishment again". While out helping a friend with her car troubles we decided to go for lunch. Not being familiar with the area we luckily happened upon Caputi's Pub. We had my 95 yr old Grandmother with us so we were a little nervous when we pulled up and saw the outside. As the say "Never judge a book by it cover" this definitely applies here!! It looked a little more of a bar to bring Gram but turned out to be the Best kept Secret yet!!!! Upon entering it was your typical bar/restaurant, very nice, they were doing some renovations. Our server went above and beyond helping my Grandma and was such a nice woman. It was very homey and comfortable there! The food was Delicious! I had the Roast beef on Weck with gravy and 5 Italian parm wings. The Roast beef was cooked just the way I like it, a little pink and juicy, along with the gravy poured over it I needed a fork and knife to eat it! They give you plenty of meat too! The wings were crunchy and the flavor had a great taste and 5 was just enough for me! My Grandmother was Very happy with her meal as was my friend and the prices were good too. My favorite bar/restaurant in all of Buffalo, for a well-rounded night! I'm surprised it's not a common recommendation on wing lists as their wings, especially the weck wings, are 10/10. I'd recommend going Wednesday-Saturday so you can also get the Candyman pizzas (any of them, candyman style!), and sitting on the Candyman side for craft cocktails or Caputis side for a great beer menu. The section between Caputi's and Candyman has a pool table, dart boards, and a couple pinball machines so it really is the perfect spot for friends, dates, or even just to go by yourself and mingle with the staff and regulars. read more

Came here for a special event in the banquet room, a whiskey pairing dinner with a 4 course meal. Even though the menu items weren't part of the daily pub menu, they were made by the same kitchen staff and came out phenomenal! First off, the food was great. But, the staffing was bizarre. The bartender was taking care of the dining room as well. Our initial waters were the sole drinks we received. My wife said her fish fry was delicious. The batter was perfect in her words. We also ordered the salt n vinegar fries. They had a great taste but were soggy when you picked them up. Thank goodness for DJ trivia, otherwise I wouldn't have found this cool spot. A bar located on what looks like a pretty commercial highway, surprisingly opens up to a pretty large spot. Drink specials every night, rotating craft brews, retro arcade games, pinball machines, dart boards, pool tables, and some pretty solid chicken fingers await. My buddy and I came by here for DJ trivia (if you're into that sort of thing, they do it on Thursdays) and decided to make the most of our time. Our service was very prompt and was well informed about the menu. We opted for a bottle of blue lights just because it was the best deal ($15). Now don't come here for fine dining obviously, but if you want bar food, they got it. Wings, fingers, burgers, fries, tots, etc. I got the fingers with some hot sauce and they were cooked perfectly. The fries that came with it were just okay, so they have some room to grow. Overall, just a super cool bar if you're looking to hang out with friends in the suburbs. read more

Went for wood fired pizza it wasn't available in this dingy dive bar. Ordered salt and vinegar fries the fries had wayyy to much salt they weren't edible the fries were hand cut fresh too which is the sad part that I couldn't eat any of it due to the over obnoxious amount of salt. The beer was cold the ambience was dark and dreary black ceilings and dark woods. I will definitely not be back to this place The bartender asked me if the food was good and I told her that it was not good at all and had only ate 4 fries and that was it, she never asked why the food was not good and didn't even remove it from my ticket so I paid for bad food and lack of customer service she was to busy talking to her regulars instead of giving customers that are having issues with their food resolution. And I still tipped her even though I had to pay full price for food that it would never get eaten. This place is not recommended by me at all. I give this place an F. read more

Thank Goodness Caputi's Pub is still going strong and staying open late. It was 8:00 pm and I had driven and called around tons of places between Niagara Falls and Buffalo looking for an open kitchen and found Caputi's was still open til 4:00am! Vrroooooommm!! We pull up and get greeted by a nice guy telling us to go right in and a server will be right with us. And she was, allowing us to sit where we felt most comfortable so we chose to sit outside. The service was great and we never once felt like we were forgotten about sitting outside. We both ordered the Combo ($14.99) which came with Beef on Weck and 5 chicken wings with the sauce of our choosing so we went whimpy and asked for medium. It was late and I wasn't in a "Fire-in-the-hole" kinda mood plus we had a drive back to Niagara Falls after we finished, . Anyways, the Beef on Weck was absolutely delicious. It was piled high, served with horseradish and omg it was so juicy and flavorful! Like so many foods served in Buffalo, I had to explain the slurp-bite* to my girlfriend in order to save her shirt from getting juice all over it! The chicken wings were cooked perfectly. Crispy, hot, just the right amount of sauce so they didn't get all soggy and juicy in every bite. I washed down my meal with a Sloops Juicy IPA and being a pub they have many options to chose from. Give all the restrictions and new rules that restaurants have to play by, I was wildly impressed with how great Caputi's took care of us and our meal. If you're in Buffalo, come here and enjoy a great meal, a cold drink and some friendly staff. You won't be disappointed! read more

Caputis is definitely not my choice for a night out, but I've been dragged here more than a couple of times. Luckily they usually have decent drink specials and more than a couple pool tables and dart boards to keep you busy. For some reason (which I don't understand) this place is always packed. It's difficult to get a drink here when it is and ways feels like it's understaffed. The bathrooms are tiny, tiny, tiny, and usually very dirty. I guess if you're looking to have a couple bud lights and throw a few darts it's an OK spot, but anything more than that and I'd probably recommend you keep driving. read more
