After going in today, and experiencing the rudest front desk attendant who spoke to me as if I was a child, made me take back my keys and head somewhere else for my oil change. I always fear the mechanic trying to use smoke and mirrors to get you to buy more than what is necessary. The work was done in a fair amount of time and price was accurate on the estimate. I sent the truck in with nothing but a dead battery and 10 grand worth of parts and got it back broken down. They told me there was metal in the transmission and they didn't know how to delete the DOD (weeks were spent discussing the build) which didn't matter either way given I gave them every part to rebuild and bullet proof the transmission had the truck sent straight to Chevy and the transmission had 0 metal in it and nobody has been able to figure out why my truck is broken down a week later, absolute unprofessional bums.

We used Patriot Garage recently because my daughter's brakes were making a noise. I saw the…read morenegative reviews on Yelp and was a bit concerned but I saw all the glowing reviews on Google and Facebook. I called Patriot Garage with lower expectations. I spoke with Tim and he was very helpful. I explained the issue and he was extremely patient. He made an appointment for me to come in on Monday but said if I wanted to bring it in sooner, he could try to get the car looked at (this was on a Friday morning). I said I would drop it off but needed to figure out how to get back home. He offered me a ride, which was extremely helpful. Tim called me a few hours later and told me the brakes did have an issue. He also said they perform a 20 point inspection so he provided me with options for additional work. I wasn't surprised by this and approved only the work on the back brakes. He was kind and didn't hold it against me that I didn't want to do any other work. He just said that when we're ready, we could come back to work on the other stuff. At the end of the day he called me and told me the brakes were done. He said they noticed a bubble in a rear tire and advised that I take it to a tire shop. He had zero incentive to do this. I felt like he did this out of genuine concern for our safety, which I appreciated. The process to check out and pick up the vehicle was the most convenient process. I paid online and then they left my car key in a lock box. I could pick up the vehicle at my convenience. Overall, my experience was really great and I'm happy to recommend Patriot Garage in the future as well as use them for any future service that we may need. Also, the price was around what we expected. The best part is they offered a military discount so that helped as well. Thank you, Tim, for being so helpful, friendly and patient.

I took my truck in to get the AC serviced, a door handle replaced, and a noise checked out. After…read morethey did the "diagnostic" they called and told me my upper and lower control arms all needed to be replaced, my brakes and brake pads needed replacing, both motor mounts and transmission mounts were bad, and my driveshaft was vibrating. They quoted me $9000 for it all. I told them I'd do the work myself. Well I checked my brake pads and rotors and they were in good shape. I actually changed the passenger side motor mount and once I got it out I saw that it didn't need changing at all. Neither did the driver side. The transmission mount was the only one that was bad. So I feel like they were just trying to get as much as they could out of me.

They let you know of any other issues they see while it's in the shop but don't pressure you about fixing now. I think they only run one or two mechanics in the back so if your in a rush it may take awhile so best case you can leave it for them and pick it up next day. So not your quick oil Change place but great trouble shooters.

I CALLED THEM AFTER GETTING A $9000 QUOTE FROM A DEALERSHIP. THEY SAID OH YEAH, WE CAN REPLACE THE WHOLE THING FOR $38-$4000. So, I had my car towed there. The manager Mike calls back and says well it looks like it's gonna be $4500, because it needs a few partsAM . I replied, that is not what you told me. his reply was well sometimes there are a few extra parts that aren't included in the main quote. The next day, he calls back and says we got into your transmission and the price is going to be $6058. I again argued and said that is not what I was told. I said I will just come get my car and take it somewhere else. He then said OK, the labor we have in it now is already $2600 and you'll have to pay that first. I again and he said he would call his manager. then called back and said we can discount at $600 by using parts. We have on hand here at the shop. So $5400 later I finally got my car back. The car runs rough. There is a vibration in the idle. After talking to two other mechanics and looking online, I find that it is probably the motor mounts. Did aamco tell me I needed motor mounts? I took the in today for the 10 day check, and they indeed come back and say you need new motor mounts. That'll be another $500 plus $140 in parts. Avoid them like the plague because they are dishonest, and what's your quoted won't be anything near what you'll have to pay to get your car back. And your car won't be fixed when you do get it back. I don't know how they stay in business.
