The only challenge I during this whole process was with the transport company themselves - they had agreed to a delivery period (after 8pm because my friend receiving my vehicle works full time) and the day before insisted my friend HAD to be available from 12-2pm to receive my car and they could not do any other time. They essentially forced my friend to take a day off - and on the day of delivery, the transport company kept running late and ended up delivering after 8pm anyway! That was really challenging for us working out receiving the car.

I had less tracking than a $20 fedex package and my bike arrived a day late. I waited all evening for my bike to be delivered only to come to find out it will arrive the next day which of course, I had to keep contacting them myself to find out. Once the bike arrived I was asked to pay $350 cash or the driver wouldn't release my bike to me. At no point was I ever told to bring cash. All in all, this was a very poor experience.

Called first thing morning of pickup no answer. After many calls, and no answer, my husband was able to reach someone. We were told NO driver, asked us to pay more. Still no driver. We ended up having to pack one of the cars, loosing money on our plane tickets, finding another company for our other car. But the worse was my husband had to sit for 20 hours in the car after 4 days out from major surgery. Which they were aware of. I know it's been after the fact, but I just want to make sure no one else gets taken by this company.

There are trucks currently available so, before they are no longer available, I need to make a move. Assuming that the truck was already available (per manyyyy phone calls with Michael to specify this exactly--and some exchanged text messages) I signed. On Saturday 07/18 I signed, I was promised a call back Sunday or Monday absolutely latest from Michael himself. He did not call. It is now Tuesday... I needed my car in Fl on the 26th latest(the day after I arrive). I was guaranteed it could be there that day if I signed the day that I did(07/18). It is now Tuesday, Michael has not returned any of my calls or Texts. The secretary mentioned paying more money(bait and switch). Overall super unprofessional, wouldn't recommend if you're already stressed about moving

One was the old apartment I lived in, and the other pickup was my partner's furniture and work tools. They have created their own inventory and clearly marked the boxes so there were no mix-ups. My craft supplies, his office monitors, kitchen appliances and family photo frames were all packed in various ways. The boxes were quite light, so we loaded them one by one, and this made us feel better. We booked a time for our building elevator, and our team worked around that time frame without wasting time. It was handled calmly, though there was a slight lag while the other person was loading the area. Everyone was very nice and informed us throughout the entire process. They delivered around 9 pm, and the main furniture was delivered to the desired location. One of the lamp shades had to be tweaked upon unpacking, but it was a minor issue. The boxes were readily available as each room's name was clearly written on the box. The move itself remained well planned and executed from start to finish, even with two pickup points. The team really had a strategy for everything.

Items such as resistance bands, attachments and hand weights were placed in reinforced boxes. The larger ones were wrapped tightly before being carried through the doorway. I had my household furniture loaded separately; it was busy keeping everything in order. The treadmill would have to be angled differently in the new house to fit through the hallway. The team didn't rush through the process and damage anything. This took a few minutes longer, but it was done professionally. The last delivery was received, and all major items arrived undamaged. It wasn't our equipment, as there were a few scuff marks on one of the moving blankets. The crew put the pieces back together and ensured that they were stable. The service was thorough for a big and complex job and surprisingly smooth.

Mercury Auto Transport used a bait-and-switch tactic in my experience. They told me a driver was…read moreready and asked me to sign the paperwork, but refused to provide the driver's name, phone number, or any actual dispatch details, repeatedly saying the information would arrive "soon." The driver details never arrived. When I asked to cancel, they charged a dispatch fee, claiming that a driver had already been dispatched--even though they never provided any proof that a real driver had been assigned. It felt like a trick to keep me committed so I could not book with another company that actually had a confirmed driver. Be very careful before signing anything or paying a dispatch fee unless they first provide verifiable driver details. UPDATED: Mercury's own response confirms that the dispatch paperwork and driver information were still being processed when I cancelled. That is not a completed dispatch, regardless of what button they clicked in their internal system. Another company had already provided me the exact same driver's details, and Mercury's screenshot showed only $350 payable to the driver, yet Mercury retained even more than that while providing no transportation service.
