The car was out front but filthy, to which he replied "it's really pretty when it's clean..." While on a test drive the salesman sat silently (other than driving directions) in the back. He had no knowledge of the vehicle, which was a little disappointing. We had a unique and complicated financing situation and I appreciate the work that goes into it, but the outcome was unprofessional. After a lot of back and forth they had agreed on a price if we were willing to adjust our interest rate (which we obliged) then after some time they came back and decided not to keep the price. At that time the only reason they would have made that decision was that there apparently was no longer any wiggle room on the sticker price that they up front mentioned was "always relatively negotiable." After questioning them about the reason they just stopped talking to us. There were several more unprofessional things that took place but overall it just felt like a shady place. I will however say that the gentleman in charge of financing was very kind and professional, but that would be the only positive review of this dealership.

Even though Walker Motor Works doesn't have an official 7-day return policy and/or officially/legally offers reimbursement of any kind, they seem to be proponents for fair business practice. After I found these issues, I was able to call and get ahold of Kylie Walker. We made an appointment for the business's mechanic to take a look at the car. He was able to fix the issue in 15 minutes and did so for free (on Super Bowl Sunday no less). Mistakes happen. What matters most to me is whether a business can accept accountability and make things right when mistakes happen. Walker Motor Works does that. Brion was an excellent car dealer and human being. I enjoyed my time with him and I think that we both got a little distracted by how great the conversation was that we just didn't have the attention-to-detail when it came to examining the car. I highly recommend this place!

He assured me that he 'knew exactly what the noise was' and that it would be repaired before I took possession. The dealer also mentioned that the car was not yet listed online and that if I wanted it, I needed to put down a $500 non-refundable deposit, or they would list it immediately. Since they assured me that they knew the issue and that it would be fixed, we proceeded with the purchase. After taking the car home, the noise remained. When I brought it back, I was surprised to learn that the dealership's mechanic had not actually inspected the vehicle before selling it, despite my understanding that they had. The mechanic took it for a test drive and returned saying, 'I have no idea what that noise might be,' and that I would need to make an appointment for a full inspection. At this point, I called the dealership and told them I wanted to return the car because I felt the initial assurances about the issue were inaccurate. They refused, saying it was too late and that I had declined to wait for their own inspection (which, had I known, I would have done). They then clarified that it had only been inspected by the auction house. During the five-day wait for their lift to become available, new issues developed, including a tapping noise when the AC was on, hesitation or slippage in the transmission, and a loud squeaking sound that resembled a dolphin. When I returned, the lift was still occupied, so they used home car ramps but then said the car was 'too hot' to inspect and asked me to leave it for an hour. Hours later, I had to stop by to check on it since no one called. After the repair, the original noise was gone, but the transmission still hesitated/slipped. When I brought it up, I was told, 'That's just how these transmissions are.' I was later informed that I had a 3-month warranty, but it only covers up to $1,000 in repairs, which may not be enough for transmission work. If you're considering buying from here, I highly recommend getting an independent inspection beforehand. It costs about $160 but could save a lot of trouble. My experience left me disappointed, as I expected better transparency and customer service."*

One matching my criteria popped up at Mountain Loop Motor Cars, and after a phone call with Rick, the van sounded like it would be worth the trip up north to take a look. Rick was fantastic to deal with. Super friendly, professional, and helpful. The van was in great shape, at a fair price, and Rick made the process very straightforward. I had a lot of fun chatting with the rest of the staff and observed a number of repeat customers come through the door while I was there. With any vehicle, especially used, it always helps to do your research and give it a thorough inspection. No dealer can fully predict all the different things that could go wrong with a machine as complex as an automobile. In my case, the Sienna has performed flawlessly. We just returned from driving our family of five 4000 miles from Seattle to St Paul. The van didn't leak a single drop of fluid. This was a quality vehicle, well maintained, and I'm thankful for Rick at Mountain Loop Motors for hooking us up with it. When you are looking for your next used vehicle, take a look at what these guys have. It's a small family owned business with a lot of repeat customers, and they could definitely use your support more than the big dealers.

I'm not putting another dime into that car. Yeah it's my own fault for not taking it to a mechanic to have it inspected before I chose it. So I paid the $230 and took it in for a diagnostic test and found out what the limp mode problem is on top of all the other repairs it needs which is a total of $4,996.67, and this is after all the work I had paid your guys mechanic to fix, which was $4,500 total and yeah you guys paid $500 of it for me. Lol WHOOOOOOOPTY DOOOOO! I drove it for a total of 4 months in the two years I've had it because its broke down again And again and again. I showed up to your lot and was balling my eyes out and I couldn't even talk because I was so upset about that car. And you guys never called me to try and help me out, just treated me like I was a bother to you all. I wish I could say what I really want to say to you people on here!! DO NOT BUY FROM THIS LOT PEOPLE!! Seriously. Keep driving to the next lot down.
