In regards to your response back, I can't say on here!! But trust me it's brutal. I've put $6000 into that car just for repairs and its still just sitting broke down in my drivewa. I'm not putting another dime into that car. Yeah it's my own fault for not taking it to a mechanic to have it inspected before I chose it. YOUR MECHANIC Jr, did all the the work on it and still can't figure out why its in limp mode still. So I paid the $230 and took it in for a diagnostic test and found out what the limp mode problem is on top of all the other repairs it needs which is a total of $4,996.67, and this is after all the work I had paid your guys mechanic to fix, which was $4,500 total and yeah you guys paid $500 of it for me. Lol WHOOOOOOOPTY DOOOOO! I drove it for a total of 4 months in the two years I've had it because its broke down again And again and again. Scammers!! Stay away!! I did a trade in with a young sales man, he did a test drive and all was GTG. The next day the owner called to unwind the deal. When I declined they showed up at my house, yelling at me on my driveway threatening to repo/ sue me. I said if they could repo they would, when I mentioned calling the police; they abruptly left. They continued harassing us until my husband finally gave in and gave them an additional $1,000 (to go away). Do not trust this place or its owner Brandon. He screwed over my 20 yr old Grandson who trusted him and it cost my Grandson 4 grand. The transmission went out on the vehicle he bought from Brandon. Brandon replaced the transmission with one from a wrecking yard with no warranty and then that one went out within 3 days. Brandon wrote down that he would make it right even if it meant putting in another transmission. Brandon refused to fix after 2nd tranny went out and told us he already went above and beyond what he should have done. Too bad cause my Grandson thought he could trust Brandon and now sees him for what and who he really is, a self centered and self serving shyster that screws over young kids. Bought a used truck from them, it didn't fair so well. Only made it about 200 miles before being a driveway decoration. After quite a fight, they traded me a 4k car they had on the lot for the 7k dollar truck that blew up. Would have given a 3 star, but as I found out on 9/14/2015, long after trading them back the truck, they never transferred the title into their name for the truck. They had possession of it for over 60 days and now won't help the person who bought it. She had to contact me so she could take ownership. In my experience, with all the things I found wrong with both vehicles, they do not do a safety inspection of the vehicles(missing lug nuts and the entire dash was dark) So as far as paying them retail, just buy private party or stick to a big dealership. read more

I had formulated my "first" offer from readily available sources that are available on the internet --- a la Edmunds.com which I later learned is the EXTREME low end of the spectrum. I did leave that part out of my initial review, so I'll cop to that... I only left it out because I even went so far as to apologize to your salesman for the offensive offer the next time I came in. To that end, I'm willing to raise my initial rating a star to make up for my omission. I just felt as though your company was trying to take advantage of a guy who had tipped his hand to the fact that I really wanted that vehicle. THAT is why I left your company a 1 star rating....not because you did't accept my offer. I visited many other dealers in the area and didn't leave negative reviews because they didn't accept my offer (of which I made many)...only when I thought they were not playing fair. Seems like a nice group of gentlemen. Large selection of cars and trucks for several price ranges. We arrived to look at ONE vehicle on the lot. At first glance it was clean, well maintained and started right up. Interior well maintained well. Took it for a test drive. Two issues (it's 5:11pm) No dash lights and windshields wipers were haphazard at best (it's been raining all day)...2 major issues. Keeping in mind it was 1984 it was in good physical condition for its age. We left without making a deal but feel good about the decision. Maybe another day and maybe another vehicle. read more

We purchased a Big Red Dodge Diesel Cummins 4x4 here the end of July. We paid CASH top dollar for this truck. About a week later trying to pull a boat up the hill (reason we bought the truck) the transmission was slipping. Called this lot they said bring it in our mechanic will look at it. Our best friend is a diesel mechanic for a private Jet out of Paine Field best mechanic anywhere. So after we replaced the transmission, air conditioning compressor, and 3 U-joints it's a good truck. read more

I broke my own rules when buying a used Ranger from Mountain Loop. I didn't have it checked out by a trusted mechanic, and I didn't drive it under varying conditions. In the 6 months I've had it, I've had it in the shop for 2 broken motor mounts, 1 broken sway bar mount, been stranded due to a loose battery cable, and still have to have the fuel pump and filter replaced, and the transmission synchros worked on. I should have realized the quality of prep they do to their cars when I climbed into the bed of the truck and saw that the edges of the roof were buffed and shiny so they looked good from the ground, but the parts that weren't visible from the ground were corroded and not even washed. Purchased a vehicle from these guys last month right before Christmas and the driver side door handle was broken. They told us they had the part on order and would replace it for us, not only did they replace the handle they took parts off of one their loaner cars that so happened to be the same make and model as mine. It took a little longer than expected but the work was done right and I was not expecting for them to go so far out of their way to fix it, they have amazing customer service and I will be a returning customer in the future. This place is full of the most dishonest piece of shit car dealers iv ever encountered bought a 04 Honda Civic from the, one week after having the car I had to replace my motor they said they would help but they barely did had to pay another 1500 for a new motor, not only that they said they would replace the radiator to yeah they never did. They made me take it to bones automotive they wouldn't let me take it to my mechanic to put the motor in. They work together to fuck people over .. so after a month of having the car my clutch goes out another 900 dollars and then a month after that sense they said they changed the radiator but did NOT! My head gasket blew because of it and cracked radiator so another 1500 plus 477 for a radiator! This is the worst place iv ever been to full of a bunch of drunks!!! Literally can smell the alchohol on the employees. The most unprofessional place iv ever been. I was in the market for a vehicle for my wife. After browsing the internet for quite a while I came across your listing of the 1999 Mercury Cougar for $4,999. As I have done in the past, after looking over the vehicle, I decided to take a look at the book price on both KBB and NADA. Much to my surprise I found that you guys are asking quite a large amount over the book price. NADA offers a 'clean retail' of $3,475 and KBB offers a 'suggested retail price' of $2,622. Today I decided to make a stop into your lot to ask a few questions regarding the vehicle. I must say, I felt I was treated in quite a disrespectful manner. The first question I asked after saying hello and why I was there was "why are you guys asking so much for the car?" The two individuals there seemed very puzzled and confused as to why I would ask such a question. They replied with something to the nature of "well what do you mean?" I stated "well you guys are asking approximately between $1600 and $2600 over book price...why is that?" At this point I assumed that these two individuals would have drawn the conclusion that "this wasn't my first rodeo", but that was not the case. They continued to try and sell me on the fact that "book values don't really matter" and that they "don't show the true value". I have purchased many cars in my life, dealt with and been friends with several car dealers, and been to several car auctions with those dealers. I know how the business goes. I don't expect to only pay book price for a vehicle. I understand that you guys are in business to make money, which is why I made a fair offer of $4,000 for the car (well over both book prices) and the salesperson promptly shot it down. What I do expect, is to be treated with respect as a prospective customer and to not be treated like I am dumb. Car values exist for a reason, no different than housing or property values; they are there to instruct people on what a fair price for the product is. Maybe not an exact price, but a good ballpark. $2,000 over book price on a car that's only worth between 3 and 3,500 is not a ballpark. I am sad to say that you have lost my business. I was prepared to pay $4,000 because it is a nice car. Unfortunately, that money will now be going to another dealer. DO NOT BUY A VEHICLE FROM THESE PEOPLE! UPDATE: After having a brand new transmission installed the truck only made it another 350 miles before experiencing another mechanical failure!! The truck I have bought from Mt Loop Motors for $8000.00 in October has been in the shop more than I have used it. First problem was the alignment, a bad hub assembly and next ABS lights out indicating a bad module. Seems to me a comprehensive safety check would have caught this and the braking system repaired prior to placing it on their lot for sale. When I took it in to Les Swab the manager informed me the codes had been erased, hence the reason the service light was not on when I purchased the truck. I paid for an alignment, new hub assembly and new tires to replace the bad ones that came with the truck. On my way to dropping it off with them to "fix" the braking system the windshield started leaking water into the cab of the truck. Now an added bonus, after having to leave the truck with them for a week I pick it up and the back brakes are still shimming, the windshield installed by their installers (paid by me) was not fully installed. The bottom panel that holds the blades and secures the bottom rubber seal was left just sitting in place. On the left side panel where it should have been secured with a screw it was busted and the screw missing. The other side they didnt even bother to screw it in! After a week of them having it I picked it up and parked it. I decided to take a trip 350 miles away the transmission went out and stranded me. As explained to me by the Chevrolet mechanic, although the transmission fluid appeared to be fresh this is commonly done when trying to sell a vehicle to mask a bad transmission. Im not saying they did, I am just noting the information given. It will be $3000.00 to replace. I have yet to hear back from the owners regarding the transmission replacement, apparently unreachable for the weekend. Understandable. I will update as to the outcome, good or bad. Is it possible it is a coincidence they would not know of all the mechanical issues with the truck prior to placing it on their lot for sale? I have made repeated requests to have the owners Curt and Tammy Ness and have been told they are unavailable and "I dont know when they will be in". EMAIL TO MT LOOP MOTORS: As you are aware the truck I purchased from Mt Loop Motors has had several significant issues. I have had it in shops more than i have drove it and just picked it up from your lot again last Saturday. Other than picking it up from you guys last Saturday I used it briefly on Sunday and did not drive it again until yesterday. I have put less than 1000 miles on the truck and not even made my first payment. I had $400 in work done to replace a failing hub assembly, $150 to McKenna Chevrolet to verify the problem with the breaking system, and yet another $170 for a new windshield due to the leak from the rubber seal. The panel that holds the wiper blades was not secured back on the vehicle. One screw missing and a piece of the panel broken where the screw should have been screwed in. The other screw was just sitting on the slot not tightened. As a result the bottom rubber seal does not sit flush on the windshield. This is a service I paid your company to have done by a third party, I would expect proper installation when they reinstalled the panel properly. I have also replaced the worn tires at the cost of $800. Now the transmission has to be replaced. Reverse is completely out, there is debris in the transmission fluid and 1st gear not working properly either. I signed a contract in agreement and with the expectation I was purchasing a usable vehicle. With the signed contract your company agreed the vehicle was in good working condition, you would not otherwise have it on your lot for sale. After less than 1 month and less than 1000 miles I am now stranded 350 miles from my home. I have not even made my first payment and the truck cannot be drove. The truck cannot be driven until the transmission is replaced. OK Chevrolet in Tonasket has quoted just under $3000.00 to replace the transmission. I am stranded and now not able to get back home in time for work on Monday. OK Chevrolet has informed me the earliest they can have the transmission at the shop and installed is possibly Tuesday. When all is completed I will have missed 3 days of work and have to come up with $3000,00 to have the truck operable again. Please let me know as soon as possible what the owners are willing to do regarding the failed transmission. RESPONSE FROM MT LOOP MOTORS: Good Morning Kelly. We are not able to participate in any further repairs with the truck you bought. Our vehicles are sold as-is with no warranty and unfortunately, things do happen. Its the same when someone trades a car into us that drives great like and a problem develops. We don't call the customer and ask them to put a transmission in it. read more
