This is a corporate location so it's different than the ones like magic Toyota. By far this is the best Toyota dealership I've ever been to and I would've gotten my new car here a couple years ago if they had the car I was looking for. They charge $105 for my oil change which includes a tire rotation and a 360 inspection. Yes they do suggest getting certain work done that's a bit more expensive like the brakes for all 4 tires was a lot more than doing them myself but at the Auburn Toyota they quoted me $165 for an oil change and $50 for a tire rotation!!! The inside of the dealership is nice and it's clean and they don't mind when me and my dog wait inside. We even get all cozy I lay a blanket on the ground for her and everything and they even greet her and offer snacks and water. They're fast and when I say no to something they don't try to hassle me for more or get me to say yes. No pressure and I would recommend this location to anyone with a Toyota. My car that I got here previously was a used Camry and I got a killer deal on it ($2k below Kelly blue book) and like I said, I used the Toyota first time buyers program which got me a 5% interest rate!!!

UPDATE: The "Bait and Switch" Text Proof (Doug Mesman)…read more Since my last update, things have gone from a lack of communication to flat-out predatory business practices. After leaving five unreturned messages and a corporate manager falsely claiming on Yelp they would look into it, I finally received a text message from **Doug Mesman** in the service department attempting to "make things right." Here is exactly what Doug texted me word-for-word: "Good morning Eric, I hope that texting may be a better for of communication for you. we do have the driver's actuator in-stock, my offer to install at no additional charge still stands . this repair will most likely not fix the push button start... please let me know a day monday -friday that will work best to have the door actuator installed. -- Doug Mesman" Based on Doug's explicit written text stating there would be "no additional charge," I brought my RAV4 back in to get the driver's side door actuator installed. Once they had my keys and the vehicle was in the back, the classic dealership bait-and-switch began. I waited 2 hours and then Doug and the service department went back on their word and tried to hit me with a $400 bill for the repair that he just texted me would cost absolutely nothing. They used a fake gesture of goodwill to lure me back into the building, only to hold my repair hostage for hundreds of dollars. This service department is completely dishonest. They will lie to your face, lie over text message, and try to scam you the second you walk through the door. If you value your time, your money, and basic business ethics, avoid Toyota Marysville at all costs. I am taking my business to an honest independent shop that actually respects its customers.

Alright so overall in love with the car- it sells for itself…read more My 1st visit over here, Jake was trying to sell me the car. We rode in a couple broncos and I really appreciated the fact he was trying to help me out offering other cheaper options since I'm under 25 getting this car and financing by myself. Really enjoyed touring the different cars and that experience. But sitting down looking at the financing is where things kinda went wonky. After a couple weeks looking at cars, went to another dealer and that was an automatic no. Came back here with the parental unit as a grown woman and man, the service I got when I went here a couple weeks before was way more stellar. Dad wasn't impressed. I was leaving with the car with or without my dad. But man, Kendall could've made a couple things smoother to really prove to my dad that this was a good shop. For one, the great sales guy I was working with was busy with his daughter (totally legit) and the next guy was newer. Became a circus act. We left like 4 hours later at 10:40pm on a Friday. Went through 5 finance people according to the guy doing our quote sheet. I didn't eat dinner and they didn't have any snacks we could eat. Looking back we wish we could've Uber Eats something. Tbh buying an expensive car I probably should've put an extra $20 for food and had our sales dude steal food from the back counter... can yall give them the keys lol. After like 8:30pm it was a blur bc I simply hungry. I tried warning them too. The hungry anger kind of started coming out. They gave me a water but seriously dudes learn to give a lady a snack when they need it LOL. Anywho got the car Friday and then was supposed to get accessories that were rolled into the deal. On Tuesday I learned they still never ordered them which was difficult for me to understand why they wouldn't follow up with that quickly since I called and a reminder email is what it took. Ended up getting the floor mats but still waiting on the tire cover. I did tell the salesman I got a large crack and a smaller rock chip on the window in under 5 days but maybe it's their version of a boat blessing. Ford also called today to offer a virtual call to show me around the car for 30 minutes. I did add on the car servicing for 60,000 miles so hopefully it won't be as challenging to schedule that. I'll follow up here to tell ya how it goes when I hit 10k miles. The reason I chose this location is because they had the most selection of the car I wanted and they were 15 min away from my house. Overall, in love with the car. The experience of actually getting it was a rewarding experience, but with the hiccups I'm hoping one day I'll forget those 4 painful hours!

My suggestion is to read yelp reviews - Yelp does not allow the removal of bad reviews the same way…read moregoogle does and they seem to have someone on their team who cherry picks reviews. This car lot is overpriced - and their inspections are done in house and subpar. From my experience, they mark off things in "excellent condition" that the car does not even have (electronic movable seats, ash tray, etc). The tires on every car we looked at were expired (2023 so not recently) - they were cracked and shredding. Exterior damages such as dents scrapes scratches are also marked off as excellent. All vehicles that are in good condition between 60,000-100,000 miles are all priced at $19,971 or $19,972 regardless of make, model, recalls, or issues with the vehicle. The "excellent" inspection report allows them to over price vehicles they know have issues. I found two vehicles I was really interested in with the help of the sales man Scott Todd - however after that the entire experience went down hill. My mechanic came out and looked at the cars I was interested in. The VW Atlas that I had interest in was an automatic no - rusty and damaged underneath due to being in a wet environment, per my mechanic it looked like it was taken off roading. The car was beat up and definitely not in as good of condition as their inspector made it out to be on paper, not to mention there wasn't even an intake date on the inspection. On top of that, it had a brand new circular key mark on the vehicle that wasn't there the week prior we looked at it. This vehicle's been on the lot for now over a month with zero price reduction which should say enough. We decided ultimately to have numbers ran on an Infiniti priced at $19,971.00 however per the fair purchase price it should have been more like $18500.00, especially with the known issues that Scott admitted the car having- the 2021 Infiniti had an alignment issue, warped rotors, needed new tires, and a 90,000 mile inspection in less than a year -- totaling $3000 estimated cost in repairs within a year or less of purchasing the car. They said the most wiggle room they had was $500.00 and from there it was just a list of reasons why they shouldn't adjust the price. They also racked on $980 in extra anti theft equipment so their counter offer came back more expensive than the sticker window price. Scott seemed to be unwilling to request a larger adjustment - he kept pushing that an adjustment in price would ultimately only change my payment a total of $10-15 without any acknowledgement that the car was not worth the price they were trying to sell it for - or that the overall cost does ultimately affect my approval odds, as well as my payment being made. At this point I realized that it was strictly about selling that vehicle at the listed price and not concern for customer. I had two approvals come through that were absolutely outrageous, and was told they were going to continue running my application and to wait until Tuesday as the banks were closed for Labor Day weekend. After leaving the lot we found a similar Infiniti in Mount Vernon at the same mileage priced at $18,500.00 before negotiation. I was told I would get a follow up on Tuesday which never came as my credit was still being ran and it was Labor Day weekend so banks were closed; Tuesday i was supposed to get a call regarding my approval, zero texts calls or emails came through. - on Wednesday I sent a text regarding no update, received a call in return that I was not able to answer. Thursday I found out the car was sold, with no update or response from Scott. I sent an email outlining my concerns - the response was to call me back, ultimately likely not wanting to put anything in writing acknowledging that he knew my issues with the vehicle were valid and accurate concerns. I have waited for a call for a manager for two days now, Derek has yet to call. No one seems to have any regard for customer service, especially to a woman in her early 30s. I am not impressed by their vehicles, their negotiations or lack thereof, or their customer service. No one seems to be able to genuinely answer a question unless you bring your own person in to do it.

He was polite from start to finish. He was not knowledgeable about the Forester I was test driving and was unable to answer questions. However, he was a young man, presuming without much experience, so he got a pass. When I returned to the dealership, I made an offer on the vehicle. Israel wrote the price down on a blank piece of paper and asked me to sign it. I declined, saying that if I ended up buying the vehicle, I would sign the actual paperwork. He took my offer back to the "finance guy." The "finance guy," turned out to be an aggressive middle-aged man with a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle tattooed on his arm. He came out and asked me where my offer came from. Super classy, right? I simply told him that was what I was willing to pay for the vehicle. He continued with his snarky comments. Marysville Auto Center

Marysville Auto Center Wolf in Sheep's Clothing…read more We purchased a 2011 Subaru Forester from Marysville Auto Center on November 17th 2025. We purchased the vehicle for my son to drive when he came to visit on winter vacation from college. After purchasing the car, it sat in our driveway until my son came home from college for Winter break on Dec. 12th (except for a few local trips to the store within a ten-mile radius). He stayed with us for a few days and then headed down to Portland to stay with his mom where she lives. We had plans for him to drive back up on the morning of Thurs. Dec. 18th because we had tickets for the Seahawks/Rams game. He called the evening before game day on the 18th to inform me the check engine light was on and the car was "surging". I was not at all comfortable having him drive it back to Seattle with the check engine light on. It was not possible to get the car looked at in Portland on such short notice and there was no way of getting him up here in time, so we had to miss the Seahawks game. Although we tried, we couldn't sell the tickets online or otherwise being less than 24 hours to kick off. The following weekend we went down to Portland and took the car up to the Kendall Marysville Subaru Service Center. At this point the car had only acquired about 500 miles since it was purchased. After inspection the Service Department called and told me that the check engine light was set off by PO30X codes and the (4) Ignition Coils needed replacement. They also mentioned that improper spark plugs were previously put in the vehicle, and those should be replaced while they were there. These repairs were going to be close to $2,000 for a vehicle I just purchased from their car lot. I explained the vehicle was just purchased from Kendall Marysville Auto Center, and these repair items should have been picked up on the 163 Point Inspection previously done by their company. I told them I wanted them to replace these parts and requested a copy of the 163-inspection report completed on the vehicle before it was sold. I received the Inspection Report from the Sales Department. The report showed that PO30X codes had previously triggered the check engine light before the vehicle was sold, and Kendell Service Center replaced the spark plugs. Below is from the inspection report. Why didn't Kendell Service Department complete the repairs they say needed to be done on this vehicle when the same check engine light codes came up for them before the car was sold? Instead, they replaced the spark plugs with ones they now wanted to charge me to change since they are not the proper ones. I also looked closer at the 163-point inspection completed on the vehicle prior to us purchasing the vehicle. None of the inspection boxes are checked off in the 163-point inspection. The 163-point inspection was not completed as advertised. Below is the actual 163-point inspection report for this vehicle. I brought this up to the Kendall Service Department. They offered to replace (1) Ignition Coil but not the other (3) they said needed to be replaced. They would not even replace the spark plugs they put in. They now said the spark plugs were ok. When looking for a vehicle for my son, I could have purchased a similar car for less from a private party or I could have purchased from any other used car lot on the corner. I looked online at private sellers and went to several other used car lots. I did not have much confidence in what I was seeing. When I saw Kendell's ads for Marysville Used Car Center, I felt like I could have some confidence in a company that is standing behind the used cars they are selling. When I purchased the Subaru Forester from Marysville Auto Center, I did not even try to talk the price down. I figured if they were standing behind this vehicle like the claims they make in the ads, I was fine paying a little more. Through this transaction with Marysville Auto Car Center they proved they are no different than any other used car lot or purchasing from a private seller. Purchasing a vehicle from Kendall's Marysville Auto Center was a huge inconvenience and costly mistake. They dress up their dealership and web page to look like they offer a product and service that others don't. This is not true. I also question the Service Departments credibility. Beware they are Wolves in Sheep's Clothing. I plan on purchasing a new Subaru sometime in the future. I will not be purchasing any more cars from The Kendall Auto Group.
