I went to see a car I saw online. I was already pre approved by capitol one but they decided to run my credit again anyway. Suddenly the car I saw online went from 34k to 46k and they wanted me to pay over $1000 monthly for a used car with a car accident on record and 30k+ miles, a manager also told me no matter how much I put down the monthly payment won't change lol. For all of this I could grab a 50k car from a legit dealer and pay closer to $1000. These guys are a joke. They'll try to get over on you it's sad. I should've stopped when they re ran my credit and lied about my credit score. Their salesman Vik, claimed they only sell Certified Vehicles, that you're in good hands, we only sell Certified Pre-Owned and bring it all up to par so you get something in great condition. Assured me of all kinds of things, and that their dealership was super trustworthy, that any issues with the van would be taken care of. Like someone else said, they advertise one sale price, then jack up the price and do the sales process so fast, you feel so pressured to agree since they already took your credit application and don't spend any time reviewing in detail what you're actually agreeing to, it just makes it seem like it's standard paperwork - which outlines all the ways I was about to get screwed. It's a bunch of horse shit. I got a vehicle that needed work - VIK also made it seem like it would be taken care of but made no service appointment. I have been waiting for 10 days to get any sort of call back on a service appointment for the issues THEY OWE ME. In addition, after only two days of driving the vehicle I find the brake pads are extremely low, and there's a big screw in the tire from the dealership I didn't see as it was on the bottom of the tire. The rear view mirror is shaking... It's not going to pass inspection in it's current state. I called and sat on hold for over 10 minutes. Sent multiple emails to receive no response. This was an absolutely awful car buying experience- bought the car in December and still waiting for resolution of my questions. My previous car buying experience was so much better as they take the time to be with you and do not try to help multiple customers as once and not explain things. First off, they rushed me to sign without explaining any of the costs saying it's all on the flash drive- which it is not. Vic is not a nice person, even though he seems like it at first. He says he cares about all his customers but as soon as you sign he wants you out the door and never responds to any communications even trying to brush off questions. Spending so much on a car you would think they would take the time to deal with one person at a time, however they made the excuse that he is good at his job so he needs to handle multiple clients which is such a condescending thing to say. He said he is very responsive especially through texts but I've texted him multiple times even this week for the cost breakdown (have tried so many times) and no response. After we agreed on the price- there was hidden fees that were never explained to me. I questioned the higher cost at than what we agreed on at signing and was told it was interest that I would not be paying it if I paid off the car fast. I came in 6 times to have it explained and they never broke it down just saying why don't you understand, even the financial manager Adonis did not explain it correctly. They never told me about a 4k inspection (until the 6th time coming back) that they do on all cars which was definitely not done as my glove box was falling off and had to get tesla to replace which would have cost $500 if I did not have a nice installation person that fought for it to be covered. I told Vic I did not want any of the extra protection which he said ok to but he ignored that and they charged me for it. I'm still waiting for this cost breakdown- there is still 2k that has not been explained. This was my experience and a few reviews say the same thing, which I wish I read. I don't like writing bad reviews but this is not a small purchase and I'm still left in the dark- I plan on going in again for the seventh time to talk to the manager. Overall I enjoyed my experience I was in and out with the car I wanted within one day. That being said I experienced a lot of things in that time span, micheal was my sales associate and he was more than eager to help me move through the process. Micheal was great and super helpful with my questions weather it be about financing or registration. A lot of the reviews I see talk about how the sales people are slimy and try to mess with your numbers, I personally didn't run into this issue however there were some odd points that needed explaining but all seemed to check out in the end. The receptionists seem to change every other call so the lack of communication between everyone only grows. At the end of the day most of the issues I've seen written on this site have been mostly taken care of and now it's just miscommunication between receptionist, sales and front desk. They really do make you feel like a family friend giving you all the facts straight and skipping any BS I've dealt with at other dealers.
