I was very disappointed with my last wash from Holland Road Car Spa and will NEVER recommend them again. Went for a simple car wash and vacuum. Got my car back with dried bird poop still on the trunk and now new scratches across almost half my trunk lid. Took it back and was told that there is nothing in their tunnel to cause the scratches. I advised that the marks were not there prior to my leaving my car with them. They accepted NO responsibility whatsoever. There was no attempt or offer to buff out the marks. After a quick review search once I got back home, I find that this is nothing new to them. I found several negative reviews regarding scratches. I WILL NEVER USE THEM AGAIN AND DON'T RECOMMEND ANYONE ELSE TO EITHER. BTW...Several years ago they scratched the hell out of my father-in-law's brand new handicap van when THEY got it stuck in their tunnel. But it wasn't their fault then either. read more

If you're willing to pay for the extra detailing it is definitely worth it. The guys there did a really good job. Negatives: I was initially told the car would be done in 2 hours...it wasn't done for 2 1/2. When the car was done, there were streaks on the fabric of my seats that weren't there when I brought the car in. Positives: Once I pointed the streaks out the over-seer on the line had the guys go back over the seats and thered was marked improvement! Definitely the kind of service I would expect from a professional detailer. I think I'll be back, I'll just remember to bring a book with me next time. read more

I used to come to this place all the time since it's close to my house. I stopped coming when the work they did consistently became sub par. Recently, I heard there was a new manager, (I believe his name is Tim), so I thought I'd give it another try and I'm so glad I did! I recently bought a second hand vehicle and wanted to get it a good cleaning . I paid for a $150 service today and my car was still filthy. It was not wiped down or vacuumed good, I didn't expect it to look brand new but for $150 I expected it to atleast be an effort to wipe it clean and vacuum areas. Carpet still had soap in it and I'm very displeased. I went and spent extra $200 plus to get supplies to do the job I paid $150 to get done. I specifically asked the young man what package would get my car fully detailed and he told me that $149.99 package. It's horrible and I have pictures of it and I have receipts of what I had to buy and I have pictures of how it was when I picked it up, no effort on the outside nor the outside . They did shine the tires tho. I am so mad. And my car was there from 8:30-12pm and I'm not sure why, so today I paid $150 plus $200 and some change. I feel completely ripped off read more

Took my new car for a wash. They experienced "trouble" getting my Mazda CX9 onto the feeder tracks but I didnt think much of it. When I got my car back, it was damaged in two places...the keyless entry button (which is rubber) was ripped off the door handle and the trim is torn by the tire. The manager, Mike, was a total jerk and said that the rubber must have been dry-rotted and declined ANY liability. Um...didnt I say the car was new? I showed him the buy papers showing the car was only one week old....he didnt care. I am having to put the 700 claim through my insurance company. I basically paid them 25.00 to destroy my car and on top of everything, they did a mediocre job leaving streaks on the windows. Never again will I use them. read more

The first time i went they missed the door handles. Still tipped 10. This time i ask specifically what they clean and seemed everything was covered. When i got my car it had stuff in the door handles again, cup holders, floor in back, and seat. She had a whole list of excuses as to why she missed it. Never again. Still tipped 10. Don't waste your money! I came into Car Spa today and purchased the Full Service silver package for $26. I was told it was an hour to an hour and 1/2 wait. My receipt says 1:43 PM. At 2:25 my car was in the front of the final cleaning area in the second line. I watched for the next 1/2 hour as no one did any more to my car sitting there in front of the line with the driver's door open. Cars in other lines 2 and 3 back were being given the final clean. I walked up to my car and no one talked to me as I waited for 10 minutes and decided to leave. So first I checked the inside and back deck ( I have a 2019 Buick Envision - a mini SUV). The back deck had not been vacuumed, there was crumpled paper trash on the back seat floor, the rear view mirrors were dirty, no inside glass was cleaned and the dash was still dusty. I pulled up to the building and went in to see the manager (the receipt says if you are not completely satisfied see the GM and resolve any issues to your satisfaction. I pressed the button for the manager twice waiting 5 minutes in between and when he finally arrived I told him I wouldn't be back. He asked what was wrong and I listed the items above. He said it was because we haven't gotten to it yet. I wondered about the vacuuming because it is done first before the wash. I said I watched it at the front of the line for 1/2 an hour and no one touched it and asked why. He replied, "4 people and 300 cars". I counted 11 cars on the lot after the wash. He sarcastically said "have a nice day". So I said again, " I won't be back". I have been at this Car Spa many times in the past few years and never had this experience before. I guess the only thing good was I didn't have to leave a tip because there was no one there to take it! read more

My daughter has thrown up in my car at least 3 times in the year that I've had it. Twice I've taken it to Car Spa to have it detailed. Each time, I was very pleased; my car was returned to me looking just as fresh as when I drove it off of the lot. I dried the vomit up with baking soda prior to having it detailed. Even though everything looked great when I got my car back, the seats were still damp from the shampooing. When it dried, the residue from the baking soda clearly showed up on my dark grey interior. Everything else was awesome and my car no longer smelled of vomit; I just wish the detailers had gotten up all of the baking soda. read more

This place does a good job detailing your car but be prepared to wait...and wait...and wait. If its a nice day when you are here you will have plenty of time to take a walk and see all the best that the Green Run/Lynnhaven area of Virginia Beach has to offer. Either that or put up with the hordes of screaming toddlers that always seems to fill the waiting room at least on the days I'm there. Took my car here for the first time. Drove all the way from Hampton just to take it to a place I thought would be worth the drive. Got the platinum plus package, 33.99$. Dropped it off and came back after they called me 2hrs later, which the time really did not bother me. But after having it for so long I get back in it, drive off, get home(all the way in Hampton) and notice there is still ashes every where, did not even clean small areas like cup holders or area on the door....so what exactly did I pay for? The outside still had bugs on it, my windshield still had drops of soda on it...very very disappointed, will NEVER go back and won't recommend to anyone. If I didn't live so far I would've turned around. read more

i'm always satisfied when i come here. i love how they have coupons on their website. mind you, i am OCD, so when i say it's good, it's pretty good. i got my car detailed today and they did a great job. i think in terms of the quality, you def get more than you pay for here. the only thing i notice is that the vacuuming could be a little better (this is over the several times i've gone), but again, it's cause i'm OCD. if i was your avg joe, i'd be 100% satisfied. the guys and gals are all super nice and the service is great. they offer wifi so if you want to stick around, you'll have something to do. they also have tvs and vending machines full of snacks and drinks. i dropped my car off today during my lunch break and it was ready for me in 2 hours. i'll be back! read more

I have nothing but phenomenal things to say about how my car now looks, I brought it in looking a hot sandy disaster and got the complete interior including the seats, floors, dash and windows and it looks like I could have just drove it brand new off the lot. Car spa you did outstanding! I came in about 3pm and wanted the total spa full detail package, they said it would take 4 hours. No big deal, so I sat there the whole time and watched. I watched this young man personally work his butt off non stop for the next 4 hours. Now mind you my car was IN NEED of a deep clean. I have a 5 year old that had some spills on the leather and the car looked like it had been through a hurricane. And the atmosphere in the place was great with coworkers trying to make the best out of a hot day and have a little bit of fun doing it. Wether it was joking or singing they seemed to be in high spirits. They did such a good job on my car and wanted to guarantee it in the fact they didn't actually finish until 30 mins AFTER closing!!!! At 7pm they could've rushed it and said time is up but they took the time to guarantee the quality of the service! Whatever you're doing keep it up! I will be back!! read more

So I took my Dodge Charger in for the carpet and seat shampooing and when I say my car looks brand spanking new !!!!! Omg !!! My interior was awful. I have a one year old a 12 year old who I let eat in the back seat . I had chocolate stains . Hand stains on the backs of the seats and head rest . Candy stuck in crevices and everything else you can think a child would drop . Car Spa didn't miss a crack . If you're looking to have your car cleaned with extreme detail I highly recommend this location . The staff were super friendly as well and the general manager spoke to me briefly about how great of a job they did . I am still in shock that it looks this great. i came in for the full service car detailing for my Honda Pilot and Car Spa on Holland and Lynnhaven did not disappoint. From the distinguished older gentleman who helped me pick out the right package and actually saved me money, to Silvia, who takes so much pride in her work! Whenever I come back I ask for her because I feel like I leave with a brand new car. The inside was sparkling clean and I have a dog that sheds. No fur to be seen, floors and carpets, leather, dash, all the trim-immaculate. Outside was just as immaculate, my headlights, no longer foggy. Wax and sealant, sparkling finish....tires and wheels....glossy clean. She is your go to gal on the weekendsl! When I say she really wants you to be happy with her results, I am not lying. There are not many people in this world who take pride in their work. Silvia, clearly does. I ALWAYS ask for her. You won't find her there on a weekday, so save it for weekends. Just horrible. My car is brand new 2018 so not much needed just a good wipe down. I spent $32 for a car wash and interior cleaning. It's like they don't care. Just unbelievable and they used a scent that smells like crap in my new car. What in the world is going on!!!! It's not cleaning scent just used rags. Pulled up and waited five minutes before grabbing my own menu. After 10 minutes I was greeted by a pretty frazzled employee. After a few trips back and forth to the detailing guy, he let me know they wouldn't have any openings today. I wasn't going to add to this guy's problems so I let him know I wasn't in a rush. That was a mistake--I spent another fifteen minutes waiting for them to move the car in front of me in line so I could leave. My recommendation is the same as theirs: be there at 8am. read more

I called today to see if they were open, since it's raining, and I spoke with a sweet young lady named Alhy. After voicing my concern about maybe my car not getting detailed as well as on a sunny day (I mean what staff likes to be at work on a rainy day outside cleaning cars?) she assured me that it would be and if I had any concerns I could always speak to a manager about them when I arrived to pick up my car. I just picked up my car and spoke with Alhy and a nice gentleman named Nick, who both demonstrated wonderful customer service. My car is super clean. I had a great experience from the initial phone call all the way to picking up my pristine car. There was no slacking at this business on a nasty rainy day! Thank you so much! read more

07/20/2015 - 9:24 AM - Platinum Plus and Interior Condition. Car #1846 First and last time that I'll take my vehicle there. When I was called to pick up my car I noticed the doors weren't clean on the inside. I tell the employee which in a rude manner goes and cleans it. Since I see that hes not having a good day I decide to take the car and inspect it away from the store. Then I see that the trunk wasn't vacuumed, mirrors and windshield weren't even touched and half of my dash wasn't condition, now I did noticed the dash when I got in but since I wanted to confirm everything else I just left. When I return I ask the front desk (very nice lady) for a manager. I show the manager all the issues and he tells me that he is going to take care of it. I was looking at my car the whole time and I could see how the "bad day employee" didn't even want to touch my car. A nice lady cleans it and calls me to pick it up. She apologizes 3-4 times and asks me to please inspect the car. I still had to point out to her some issues but she fixed it right away and with a smile. When I get home I saw one thing here and there but I really didn't want to take it back. I also noticed a small scratch. The service was disappointing. read more

Worst place to get a car wash did they nitpick everything on your car won't ever come to this place again

I always have anxiety about getting my oil change. It either turns into an expensive ordeal or takes forever. I went to car spa on a Thursday morning. Pulled up to the oil change area when a guy took my info. I went into the sitting area. There was lots of seating, TV's, a kids play area, and drinks/snacks. I sat down for 10 mins and was called up to the cash register. I paid for the oil change $23. Was told they were washing my car (for free) and it would be ready shortly. I sat back down, another 10 mins later I was done. So quick and easy. Will definitely be back. read more

Went to get get my truck vacuumed and washed twice, the first time they forgot to do my dashboard and I decided to give them another chance this time this didn't do my cup holders and didn't vacuum my back seats properly. I spoke to the GM about my unsatisfied experience and he told me I would have to pay for another more expensive service to get the back seats properly cleaned. I ended up doing it myself. I'm a GM myself and I would not have treated my guests like that. That's a horrible way to build connections and keep sales up. Will not be returning to car spa. And I will not be sending my people there either. read more

First wash in my new brand new truck. I bought the premium wash. The car wash was equipment broke down while I waited. The right side of the car, right side of the tube machine wasn't working...so that side of my car didn't even get washed. The side that did get washed is still dirty. The employees had a cavalier dismissive attitude while we waited for the machine to start working again. The machine scratched my paint in three places, pics attached to this review. Had the worst possible experience today here at car spa due to Guy Taylor a 20 year employee here at the holland location. I am a monthly member here at car spa and have been so for the past three months the value and the amount of times you get to come make it worth while. However the actual service performed on your vehicle is always sub par. The do have a policy where you can come back and they will te do it but who wants to waste their time doing so again. So I pulled up today ready to get my car cleaned and they ask me to sign a waiver even though I did so when I signed. They tried to make me sign again bc a piece of my bumper was broken. It was the price that broke the camels back. I told him ok I'm not cool with that and simply stated I wanted to discontinue my account. Instead of trying to retain my business like any good manager of 20 yrs would do he starts to be little me and argue with me and caused a scene in front of many people. Even when simply asking his name was extreme offense to this man and continued to berate me. Don't give them your money because they simply dont care. Is that why you told him did you have to over react and then followed by FUCK HIM!. I told y'all he would try and spin it as to I'm the bad guy. If you look further down Guy is spoken about several times by other people. Don't be fooled by this clown! read more

This place irritates me. My family and I have been going here for years. It is essentially the only full service car cleaning place in our area, unless we want to drive super far. The service is friendly and helpful when you are entering the car wash line or oil change area. Those employees are always very friendly. I can't say the same for the front desk staff though. I usually only come to Car Spa when I need my oil changed b/c it comes w/ a free exterior wash and I add on the interior as well for like $10 extra. I never complain about the wash usually b/c I didn't pay much for it so I just assume I am getting what I paid for. But today I went for a full service wash, and since the other times have been pretty bad, I decided to get the more expensive $32.99 wash to see if it would be better. I forget exactly what the difference was between this wash and the cheapest one, but either way it didn't make a difference. Yeah, they vacuum the floor mats and seats. They put whatever that greasy stuff is on the dashboard but don't even rub it in or wipe off the dirt/dust/pollen that is on there.. That was a simple fix though. All I had to do was wipe it with a napkin myself. The worst part was my middle console. The cup holders were disgusting. They obviously weren't even touched, much less cleaned. There was some type of brown dirt on the middle part by the emergency break. I know that was most likely a mess made by me but I am not paying them to clean it myself.. Inside the little areas by the radio, etc. we're extremely dusty still. These are the problem areas every time I visit this location. The only positive I have about THIS experience, was that the mats were vacuumed well and the inside of the door was pretty clean. Basically, I can do a better job of cleaning my car by myself. If only I had the products at my home to do so. I'm looking for a new place to get my car cleaned. read more

This is my last time in this place. I paid the most expensive car spa and my car wasn't clean at all. They forgot vacuum and they forgot to clean the dash boards. Also the bottom of the windshield was filthy. Don't waste your money. They don't care about your car. The only good job they do is detailing but car wash is bad. read more

I stopped into the car spa today to get my car washed and cleaned up, inside and out. When they told me my car was ready and went to go pick it up and it looked horrible. The inside was nice and clean. But the outside had dried soap streaks down the car, the rims were still just as dirty as they were when I drove the car in, and there was still road grime on the body. So It looks like my car set out in the sun long enough for the water to dry on it before anyone touched it. Nobody even bothered to clean the rims. And the wash itself was just not good. When I spoke to the guy about the car being dirty he told me all you just need to get it waxed and buffed. The service at this place is a joke, after I spoke with the gentleman I watched him go to speak with another guy and then point and laugh so I can only imagine what was being said. But I guess a customer expecting their car to come out cleaner than it was when it went in is too much to ask. Don't waste your money on this joint the wash is subpar, and the people working there are rude and disrespectful. read more
