I was looking for a honest and well qualified place to fix few thing on my car. After few calls and research online I decided to try to Car Tech and it was my best experience ever! Nobody forced me to do any unnecessary repairs. Charlie (Owner) was great, I felt like he was actually trying to help me fix my car. They did everything what I asked first day and I requested to do a full car check, so I could see if I have any issues which I should look into a future. Charlie provided a full and very detailed explanation and what his mechanics found, when I should change/repair those items and pricing for them. He also provided his recommendations on what was a priority on those repairs so I could make sure I have no unexpected breakdowns. It helped me a lot to asses the situation and make sure that I can keep my car running in well maintain condition for many months. Charlie the owner is a genuinely good guy, straight-forward, ethical and has a great sense of humor. My son's AC went out (of course) on a 113 degree day here in Scottsdale. This is a busy shop but he got us in the next day with no drama. His shop is also extremely clean. That is something I consider to be one of the best ways to measure a great (any kind of) business. Since first meeting Charlie, we've been in for 2 alignments, 3 oil changes, now an AC compressor replacement all work done on 3 different cars over just a couple weeks. No up sells. I couldn't recommend Charlie and Car Tech any higher. I originally came to Car Tech for the convenience of having someone else do a simple oil change. I talked to the owner and liked that he was willing to discuss with me issues that may come up or work that needs to be done. I got the sense that he has the background, knowledge, and tools to address new technology and maintenance items I might not have thought of on new cars, For sure it is better than me working in my driveway. I have gone back for oil changes and other maintenance issues on my two 2012 Toyotas and I have been pleased with the service and price. If I need repairs I will take it to them. Having had so many opportunities for bad experiences, I have gotten very cynical about auto mechanics, but Charlie restored my faith. What a great place!! After having a bad experience with Midas, I happened on to this place in Groupon. Charlie is very nice and super honest. He has a heart as big as a house because he fixes a veteran's car per month for free. How many times do you run across an owner who does the right thing even if there's no gain in it for him.
