That's because my normal west LA car wash always said they wouldn't be able to get the black spots off. So the car got so dirty that I was desperate for anything. I happened to be driving up Western on my way to an appointment, and saw it, pulled over. I was so ashamed, I told the guys to just do what they could with the outside, and they didn't have to touch the inside. Next thing I know, they're doing the entire car, inside and out, including lifting the hood to get the tree-detritus from where it had lodged under the windshield! They scrubbed the car, inside and out, for $40, and I got the car back sparkling! Wow!! I tipped well, and from now on, I will make it a point to drive across town for that specific car wash. I am SO grateful!!! And they were fast and really nice about it also!!

This is an automatic car wash so you wait in line, select your wash and pay, go through the wash, and have the option of doing the complimentary vacuum service. They even have an attendant at the wash helping to guide the direction of your car into the wash. Good for people like me who tend to get anxious in these situations. I usually go for the Classic wash at $15 and it does a decent job. There is some soap and water residue left over which leaves some spot stains, but I've been to worse. You can always just manually wipe it away at the vacuums. Vacuums are pretty effective. Only thing I wish is that they had a holder for the car mats I've seen at other car washes. The car wash is usually busy, but it is efficient and you don't have to wait long periods of time to get your car washed and vacuumed. Overall great experience here and would recommend for anyone in or near the Koreatown area.

I wish I could merge the bays at my usual car wash with the vacuum/dry off area at Blue Wave! I would have the best of both worlds! The price difference is $2. My regular car wash is $8; Blue Wave is $10-both for the basic wash. I will continue to use Blue Wave since it's on my way home. I took my car in for a full interior and exterior detail. The service itself was $305 for my Hyundai Ioniq. First, I was told by one of the employees that my car would be ready by 5 but, when I showed up at 5, the outside hadn't even been touched. They told me to come back at 6. Not a big deal, just an inconvenience. Once I picked it up, I did a once-over of the car and everything did look great. Until I drove away. As soon as my car hit the sunlight I realized my windshield was FULL of specks. Clearly just not wiped down with a microfiber cloth after it had been sprayed. Same with my rearview mirror. They were nearly impossible to clearly see out of at golden hour. Then, I get home and open my glovebox to find that, not only had it not been touched, it was covered in melted deodorant (which is totally my fault... but something a Detail should have included). I then start checking my car closely and my inside door handle is absolutely disgusting. So is the passenger handle. I'm frustrated at this point and clean up the rest of the car myself but, when I get in it the next day, it is EXTREMELY musty. It had just not been aired out properly and feels like I'm inside of a sauna. The air feels wet. I understand they shampooed the car, but when I came to pick it up at 5 (and was told to come back later), I can confirm that they did not have the doors open air drying the inside.. Everyone was very kind but to say I'm disappointed in this service would be an understatement. $305 to be cleaning parts of my car myself :/ I'm sorry to say I won't be back and cannot recommend the full detail here. Perhaps just an exterior wash as the exterior of my car does look wonderful.
