They are definitely open! Everything worked which is RARE in do it yourself bays. Probably the best one I've ever been to. Thank you.

If you asked me to rate zips about a couple of months ago I would have given my Hilton Head Island…read morelocation a one star at most except for TINA who is an awesome manager! She has had a very difficult time trying to find and hire staff members who are mechanical and work constantly providing clean towels that are rolled up, having a hose that works to clean off the cars and many other mechanical issues with the car wash, and employees who know what their doing etc. Now I'm happy to write: everything has CHANGED! I can not give enough compliments to CURTIS who is always making sure everything is working smoothly from trying to fix a chain in the car wash on a very hot Sunday afternoon, blowing leaves off the premises making sure there enough neatly folded towels etc. They stay open exactly until 7 pm with no excuses. CURTIS is always gives his customers a great smile and he works very hard dedicating himself to make this location #1. TINA had a tremendous amount of pressure in the beginning but she finally has found a great crew. AIDEN is also an exceptionally nice and hardworking employee as well. He brings a car into the wash as he was directing a jet for take off! Love it! Just today I saw that TINA and CURTIS put in a work order to FINALLY get the pavement paved. It was very bad with a huge holes right behind the vacuum station. For 6 years I had to navigate that space and finally the job is Done. Thank You Very Much TINA and CURTIS and anyone else who was instrumental in getting the pavement paved! My car is being cleaned with filled up wax dispensers or better cleaning products because I saw a real difference in the wash quality at the highest tier. All the lights are working now to show the customers what wax is being applied. Also the dryer is working now! Thank You All of You for a job very well done. Zips should give bonuses to ALL managers and employees who give outstanding service to give their employees an incentive to be a first class car wash.

I have to give the 125 Tunnel Road location 5 stars. I so want to give a big hug to one of the guys…read morethat work there, not sure of his name, he is a shorter guy with a beard The people who work there really do their best to keep the check-in lane moving as fast as possible and get cars into the car wash quickly. I have a membership, so I use the membership lane, but sometimes people get in that lane when there is an issue with their account, a payment problem, or something else holding things up. When that happens, the line can back up, but I have noticed the employees do their best to fix the problem as quickly as they can. One time, I was behind a customer who was having an issue, and the attendant politely asked if they would mind going around to the non-members lane so they could help fix the issue without holding up the membership line. The customer did not seem happy, but the employee still kept a smile and did not act rude in any way. I also want to say that this location seems short-staffed. The same person who was working check-in was also inside, and later that same person helped me when I asked for new towels. Even with all that going on, they were still trying to help everyone and keep things moving. Overall, I appreciate the hard work at this location. They deserve the 5 stars.

I pulled up to the machine and was about to put my card in to purchase a wash and the attendant came out with his tablet to scan my card and tell me that they have been having trouble with the card reader and he'd just scan it for me. I purchased the $24 wash and he sent me on through - never saying anything about them closing or that I would not have access to the FULL service that I paid for. When I came through the wash and went immediately around to the vacuums, they were all turned off. No one else was in the lot with the exception of one other vehicle that had just finished vacuuming their car. They had blocked off the entrance so that no other vehicles could get into the lot. When I went into the office it smelled of weed and they informed me that the vacuums were off because they were closing. It was 8:11 at this point. They were not walking out the door just waiting on me that second. They were clearly still finishing their own closing duties, emptying trash cans, office work, etc. I asked again, "you're telling me that I can't use the vacuums that I PAID for with this $24 car wash?" It's not like I was trying to detail my car - I needed like 5 minutes to quickly sweep out the floorboards. He adamantly denied my request 3 times and just said, "sorry, we're closing." This is not how you run a business and completely unprofessional. I understand that I was there at the last minute, and that was on me, but if you're going to take my money and let me in the wash - knowing that I'm going to end up going through the wash AFTER you close, then I would expect that you also allow me to receive the full service I paid for. A simple, "hey, we're about to close, we won't be able to turn the vacuums on" as he came out to take my card would've been appreciated and I could've said something like "my bad! thanks for the heads up! I didn't realize you were closing!" and went on my way. I didn't have time to stand there and argue with this attendant as I was running out of daylight and really just needed to finish vacuuming out my car, so I STILL had to drive somewhere else and find a vacuum to finish the job. I reached out to customer service and never heard back from them either. I rarely, ever write reviews but this was such a poor example of customer service and business management, I will definitely not be back and I would caution anyone else, especially based on some of the other reviews I am reading of this location, to definitely give it a second thought before you give this place your money or risk damage to your vehicle. Just a completely unacceptable experience for something that could and should have been handled so much more professionally.

The "Claims Team" is a joke. They've spent weeks sending canned responses about their "Neo-foam brushes" not causing scratches. I'm not complaining about scratches--I'm complaining about a physical collision caused by their track system. They refuse to review video footage or sensor logs and simply ignore the facts to avoid paying for the damage their machine caused. It's no wonder this company has an F rating with the BBB and hundreds of unresolved complaints. They have zero interest in safety or customer service; they just want your subscription money. If you value your car, go literally anywhere else.

I'm tired of feeling like an inconvenience to the employees at Zip's Arden, I pay over $30 a month…read moreto feel like I'm bothering them. On 08/13/26, I got a car wash and went to pull in to the vacuum area, as I was pulling in to a parking spot to use the vacuum and courtesy towels and older employee with gray hair and a goatee threw his hands up as if I was doing something wrong. He then walked to my driver's window and said the vacuums shut down a "7 til 8 PM" (sic), I looked at my phone and it said 7:49 PM, so his lie didn't even add up time wise as it was 11 minutes before 8 PM. If it wasn't a lie then why couldn't I just use them until they turn off? Why would Zip's deliberately shut the vacuums off "7-minutes before the posted operating hours (8 AM to 8 PM), that's just setting your employees up to piss people off. When you first sign up for Zip's monthly wash plans (I'm paraphrasing) the "fine print" clearly says you have access to the facility for use within specific location operating hours, legally you and Zip's enter in to a contract, because if you fail to make payment Zip's uses that fine print to cancel service and sue for any monies due. It says NOTHING about "even though you're within the posted business hours, you must first check-in with employees at that location to see if your presence at that location meets their personal schedules." If true, which is in doubt, why weren't his comments just an FYI so I would know why the vacuums shut off? What harm was I going to do using the vacuum until it powered off? Why wasn't I allowed to park and at least dry my car off with courtesy towels Zip's provides? The totality of events makes it VERY CLEAR this had nothing to do with the vacuums powering off, obviously! Oh, I'm sorry, not that I myself had been at work since 7:45 AM and just wanted to get home, but my car was in severe need a wash and vacuum with all the rain we've had 4 out of the past 5-days. I worked retail and in the restaurant industry while in college, so I certainly get wanting to go home and being frustrated with people walking in the door at the very last moment. But this isn't retail or the restaurant business where service is needed, my presence at 7:49 PM in the vacuum area required nobody to wait on me, bring me items, cash me out, etc...It takes 5-mintues or less to vacuum my car and I still would've been gone BEFORE the listed closing time of 8 PM. There would've been ZERO INTERACTION between myself and the Zip's employees, not like I was creating extra work for someone... My wife and I switched backed to Zip's from Hurricane Wash just because we use Airport Rd. more frequently, it's not as if Zips offers an exceptional service. In fact, Hurricane Wash actually offers the better wash experience, they actually take a soapy broom brush to ALL four wheels and always look great awards. Zip's however, I'm lucky if I get someone to just spray my vehicle with a wand before entering the wash, only about 15-20% of the time will someone take the effort to actually do so. As mentioned, we only switched back to Zips for convenience but we should have listened to our gut and remembered the Arden location has NEVER been known for its friendliness to begin with, all you have to do is look at the 1.8 out of 5 customer rating as the reviews speak for themselves. We are over the feeling of being an inconvenience to Zip's or should I clarify, we are tired of PAYING to feel like we're inconveniencing someone and tonight was just one more reason to cancel and switch back to Hurricane Wash. Poor customer service played a role the first time we left Zip's and I guess we were the dumb ones to think things may have changed. There are (2) other competitors to Zip's Arden that are within 2-miles; Hurricane Wash & Dr. Detail, both of which have as good and better full-service washing facilities and actually attempt to be friendly...
