Vess took care of us and made sure we were safe. I would definitely come back to this lounge only because of him. I went with 3 girls and he made sure we were safe. Best security ever. Very respeftful club.

No people inside, 20$ cover charge, it's a Friday and no people but staff at 12am. The staff didn't know what half the drinks were that we were trying to order and just all around bad vibes

the place doesn't even deserve stars, DO NOT COME HERE my partner got jumped by they're security. Nobody helped or got held accountable which is still in the process. I see it's not the first time they've done this. Not only do they not follow protocol' but they have some of the weirdest men in this place with no respect.

Sexy, sleek & big enough! I never went to Suede but my friends that have said that Carbon is a big improvement, though they've done away with the upstairs that Suede used to have. If you want a table/bottle service Vana is your go to girl! She is wonderful! There is no live DJ, but the music played with the iPod hooked up was good enough. Women's restroom had 2 stalls (lighting over the stalls was dim), was clean and just like the lounge..sexy. Gotta love the exit which leads to the lounge! I heard the men's room was super dark though! Drink prices were pretty reasonable, my Yelp Elite buddy Cherylynn treated me to a tequila sunrise with Don Julio in it & it was $10. There were a ton of guys there...I don't know if it was just cuz all the b-days going on or if that's a normal night. Something to think about though. I had a great time here for my birthday. I suggest Carbon if you want a not so crazy night at a very nice lounge, but want some music in the background unlike other lounges. Parking I thought was going to be difficult but everyone found parking easily. Come to Carbon if you want to have some good drinks and a sexy ambiance where you have room to move and breath.

Nice ambiance and great music. Didn't have bad experience like a lot of the common negative ones expressed in the reviews here.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE…read more My friends and I came here to celebrate my boyfriend's little sister's 25th birthday around 12:40 a.m. on 8/1/26, and the night was ruined within minutes. Our first stop was the upstairs restroom by the stairs. The bar was busy, but the first floor wasn't overcrowded. To give some context, the restroom is located right next to the staircase. I was waiting in line, and my boyfriend's little sister was standing only a few feet away from me. The stairs were not blocked. A man suddenly walked up to her and immediately screamed in her face, "You need to move. You can't block the stairs." She stepped over. Instead of leaving it at that, he got even closer to her face and yelled, "YOU NEED TO MOVE UP OR DOWN." Like most people would, she defended herself after having a stranger scream inches from her face. She responded, "Okay then go. I'm not blocking you." He continued hovering over her, repeatedly shouting, "UP OR DOWN." She replied, "Stop telling me to move. You move!" That's when he yelled, "THIS IS MY PLACE. GTFO," grabbed her aggressively by the arm, and forcibly dragged her out. This all happened within about 10 minutes of us arriving. The man was wearing a fitted hat with a black tee. Had a tatted colored sleeve with some green. I'm not sure if he was the owner or the manager, but I've never seen someone with such a short temper treat a customer this way. If there had been a misunderstanding, all he had to do was calmly identify himself as staff and explain what he needed. Instead, he escalated the situation from the very beginning by screaming in her face and then physically removing her after she responded to being yelled at. No man should put his hands on a woman with that kind of force, especially when she was not being physically aggressive or threatening anyone. She never touched him. She only defended herself verbally after being screamed at. As a result, she was left with visible marks on her arm. This was completely unprofessional and unacceptable. No customer should be treated this way. We came to celebrate a birthday, and instead watched someone abuse their authority and turn a simple misunderstanding into a physical confrontation. I hope management takes this seriously because no one should have to worry about being manhandled over something that could have been resolved with a calm conversation.

I liked the vibe right away, it's got that underground speakeasy kind of thing going on. The jazz band was honestly the best part of the night for me. Place was full but somehow it didn't feel like a mob scene, more like everyone was just there to unwind. Made it easy to stop thinking about work stuff for once. I got the Rosebud, coworker ordered a Dublin Down. Both were good, and I was kind of surprised how fast they came out given how busy it was. Staff swung by a few times to check on us too but didn't hover, which I appreciated since some places are either MIA the whole night or won't leave you alone.

I have been a few times and the wonderful times I have had before is what took me back in February on my last visit to the Bay Area. They offer live music in music and old school speak easy vibes. I will say the espresso martini was not as good as I remember from my previous visits as it was too sweet which of course could have been our fault since bartender heard us talking about how my friend liked his drinks sweet. All in all a great night out with friends or even a date spot when live music is on.

When we arrived, we were put in the standing room and were able to order drinks right at the bar. All of the drinks were so delicious (although a bit expensive), and the vibes were immaculate. They also have couches and seated areas, but those are all reserved so if you're going with a larger group or like to sit down, I'd definitely recommend reserving ahead.

When I first walked to the bar, one of the bartenders came over and asked what I wanted to order. I politely asked if they had the ingredients to make an Aperol Spritz since I noticed several spritz options on the menu. Instead of simply saying no, she rolled her eyes, grabbed a menu, handed it to me roughly, and said, "Order something that's actually on our menu." She then immediately walked away to help other customers and never returned to acknowledge me again. I was genuinely confused by the interaction because I didn't feel my question was unreasonable, especially at a cocktail bar with multiple spritzes listed on the menu. I've never had a bartender respond that way to a simple drink inquiry.... Thankfully, another bartender (she was the Asian one) later noticed I hadn't been helped. She was very friendly, attentive, and made my drink without any issues. Had it not been for her, I likely would have left immediately. Unfortunately, the first bartender's behavior made the atmosphere feel awkward and unwelcoming. I finished my one drink and left shortly afterward because I no longer felt comfortable staying. I understand bars get busy, but basic courtesy goes a long way. The contrast between the two bartenders' service was striking. I hope management takes customer service seriously because no guest should feel dismissed or mocked for asking a simple question about a drink.
