Beautiful views, but not really set up to serve a bunch of people. Service is pretty slow but you go for the view so it all evens out.

Luckily, my friend had already been to Iron Horse Cocktails, and suggested we go there instead. Walking down the alleyway it is located in was a nice getaway from the otherwise hectic union square atmosphere. Walking in was also a neat experience that felt like we were stepping out of the city into a tiny pub. We also really liked the atmosphere inside and the cozy upper floor that had an interesting mix of old paintings and woodwork, creating an eclectic feel. I got the We've Got the Beet cocktail with mezcal, beet reduction, ginger, fresh citrus, thyme and firewater bitters. I love mezcal's smoky flavors and was drawn to the combination of ginger, citrus and mezcal flavors in the drink. The cocktail was very good and had a nice smokiness from the mezcal, along with the kick from the ginger and zest from the citrus, creating a refreshing and tasty drink. My friend got the About Thyme, with gin, blackberry liquor, black pepper thyme syrup and fresh citrus. We both really liked his drink as well, which had an interesting kick from the black pepper thyme syrup that offset the gin and blackberry liquor nicely. While we only had time to grab a drink each, we were both very happy with the drinks and would definitely come back the next time we're in the area.

By the time we arrived, the kitchen had already closed, but the staff kindly let us know that we were welcome to bring in outside food. They recommended Joyride Pizza next door, which turned out to be a great option to enjoy with our drinks. Both bartenders were friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome. The music selection was also really good and added to the fun, lively atmosphere. We stayed until around 12:30 a.m., and even more people were coming in as we were leaving--it definitely seems like a popular weeknight spot! We had a great time and are glad we found The Lark. Good drinks, great bartenders, fun music, and a relaxed outside-food policy--what more could you ask for? We'll definitely return the next time we're in San Francisco!

Hotel Nacional and an Espresso Martini and both were expertly made. Balanced, flavorful, and exactly what we were hoping for. They set the tone for a great afternoon. Later we added an order of chicken wings and a cold lager, and everything came together perfectly. Good food, great drinks, and a laid-back atmosphere made it easy to stay longer than we originally planned. What really stood out was the overall experience. The service was friendly and attentive, the atmosphere was stylish without feeling pretentious, and the entire place had a welcoming vibe. The Lark turned an unplanned stop into one of the highlights of our day. It's definitely the kind of place you'll want to come back to and we certainly will.

I always go with the nachos and have never been disappointed, perfect portion for me, but could be shared if you're not super hungry or wanted to mix in a bunch of different food items. Service is friendly but very slow; especially for drinks. I'm not deducting any stars for that though, it's a very small bar that gets very crowded during happy hour so the staff constricted by space, not a desire to work.

This is one of those places where they pre make the meat and have them siting there in small containers. I don 'tknow who made the meat but it wasn't fully cooked or it was yesterday's meat. I don't think I 've had meet so hard in a burriot before. I didn't want to complain and make a fuss, and I did eat it because it was my lunch hour and it was so crosed everywhere aorund the area that I did not have a choice. The staff that works there are okay... you might get someone that is a bit short or direct but they are not known for being really accomodating. I have eaten here previously and it was okay, nothing great. This time it went from okay to just terrible food. They are charging so much for a burrito that is not even descent. Hire a good cook that knows how to make food well if you're going to be charging those prices - or train your staff better.

Arrived on a whim at around 6pm on a weekday and found a nice seat at the bar top. They have these little orb lights that can't be moved. Sitting in front of one takes some bar space away from you, so I changed seats to get a few more inches of space. Emilio the bartender was mega friendly and went over some items on the menu. He also told me I was right on time for the saber champagne presentation -more on that in a sec. For drinks, I ordered the Hibiscus Spice and the Paradise cocktail. Both were super fruity and delicious! I had a great time sipping on this while chatting it up with a few folks at the bar. To nibble, I can never say no to ahi tuna tartare and this one was great! The most interesting little wafers, ahi tuna with some avocado cream and a little spicy sauce. I absolutely devoured these! So good! Now for the best part, the champagne presentation! A gentleman gave a little info session on on how this process is done and at the end he took a giant to a bottle of champagne to open it. Really Cool! What made this even better was that everyone at the bar got to snag a complimentary glass. What a treat! Super cute little hour of so sitting at the bar at the St. Regis. Absolutely a little pricey, but i'ma girl who lives to spoil herself a bit. Because YOLO. Right?
