Marriot hotel bar with high ceiling and great view with bars and nice interior. Only reason 4 star is that I've never get to seat near the dome window seat. Cocktails tasted great and view was nice. Wish muic could be improved.

It's my second time here and the view lounge does not disappoint with it comes to VIEW of the city . Food is good . although could be presented in a more an appealing way. I like personally like the scallops and the cheese charcuterie Pretty pricey ( I guess your paying for the "view " ) - for a dinner date but if you have friends and you're there to have some appetizers and a few drinks , split the cost it's okey. Waiting for the sunset is definitely the vibe ! Really pretty up there ! It's nice to that it's first come first serve basis . It opens at 4pm so if u want great seats be there 5-10 mins early .

Absolutely stunning views of SF! I am so happy I spent a little time over at The View Lounge. Arrived at around 7pm and the place was happening in a weeknight! Honestly, I felt a little underdressed since everyone seemed so dashing and out together. I'll know that for next time. Sat right at the bar and TBH I felt like Batman peering over Gotham City. The views here are unmatched and the vibes inside are so swanky. For food, my latest obsession has been tuna, so I opted for the tuna Tataki. So yummy, flavorful, and in the most hypnotic sauces Ever! I paired this with a lycheetini which was yummy and refreshing. Cute little dinner at The View Lounge! This is the ultimate romantic date spot! Can't wait to come back and snuggle up with the boo and enjoy!

Everyone wants to be on top especially in the city of San Francisco. Lots of people showing off their on top of San Francisco in my social media feed. Getting to the top of San Francisco hasn't been so simple. There are lots of places to enjoy a drink and a place to hang out with a view of the top of San Francisco. Then there is lots of POPO's (Privately Owned Public Open Spaces) in SF. Although there are lots of rooftops are popping up through San Francisco but ask yourself a question: Can you stand the rain ? If you want somewhere that is cozy and dry during the cuffing season there are some that are indoors places with a big beautiful aerial view of the San Francisco high rises and landscape. There is Top of the Mark and the Starlite along with City Scape Sky Bar at the Hilton in San Francisco. Another indoor place and hotel with an aerial view of San Francisco is inside the Marriott Marquis Hotel on Mission street on the 39th floor called the View Lounge. I usually come here as a pit stop for next place and sometimes I stay throughout midnight. I like when they have live music and it's more like a lounge to enjoy the city lights with a view from above and to witness the big beautiful view of the San Francisco skyline. They have couches and sofa like seating area with pillows to get cozy. They also have food available with dishes like chicken adobo tacos and dessert with Matcha cake. The drinks here are good and I usually grab a few glasses of wine and top it off with some champagne. There is "place "in San Francisco with a good view to " embrace" the view of the big beautiful San Francisco skyline is hard to "replace"which makes you feel closer to "outer space " Go to floor "Thirty Nine " not at Pier 39 but on Mission street at the View Lounge where you have a aerial of buildings and some business "sign" a place has the view of the San Francisco amazing " skyline" and a great place to grab a glass of red "wine"

Gorgeous, unbeatable views of the city. And to our surprise, the food was also undeniably delicious! We ordered the tacos, sliders, potato chips, olives, and mushroom flatbread--all of them were a hit! The potato chips were absolutely addicting and we couldn't stop reaching for them. The other items were spot-on, but I especially enjoyed the tacos, super juicy and packed with flavor. This is a wonderful spot to wind down or celebrate a special occasion with delicious appetizers accompanied by the dim, moody ambiance and stunning views of SF.

Came here to bring in my birthday earlier this month. If you are in SF and LOVE high rises/rooftops, this is def the place to go too.. if you're staying in the marriott, you have a chance to get their early and get a good spot!! This place does not do Reservations or anything special on special events. The ambience itself does it all. Placed on the 39th floor, this dome shaped spectacle does wonders for your dates nights and special occasions. We were extremely lucky enough to get a spot by the window... Dont expect any over the top fancy drinks, they have the classics, but, what you pay for is the experience and the view! The service was prompt and swift, also it closes by 11:30pm offlate. If you have luck on yourside, you will get a spot by the window! Do not miss out on this place for sure!

I always love a visit to the view for a great cocktail and amazing views! This place holds a special place in my heart - we had cocktails here on our first date and now we are about to celebrate 25 years married! We have brought our kids here and we came here the weekend we dropped our daughter off for college - now we brought her to enjoy cocktails as she starts her senior year! We enjoyed their Lychee martini / which I meant to get last time so finally tried it and it's great! Also loved our view - we were sat at the back which offers epic views of Alcatraz which I was never aware of - then, thanks to the amazing server we had - Eva - we got city views when she came to let us know a table was available! She was so lovely throughout our visit so special thanks to her! It was a great way to end our SF trip at once of our favorite places to watch the city below!

Amazing location and sights. Food is excellent, service impeccable. Only reason for 4 stars and not 5 is it is very pricy. The food quality doesn't justify the prices, but maybe the view does.

Came here after dinner to grab a drink and there was a decent crowd. There's plenty of seating, but all the areas by the window were taken and we grabbed a high top table. We tried the lycheetini and the mission paloma. The lycheetini was perfectly balanced, light, and super refreshing! The lychee garnish is always my favorite I really enjoyed the ambiance, and how everything was dimmed. The view paired with delicious drinks was a great after dinner treat after our anniversary dinner nearby. The drinks are pricey, but I think that comes with the territory. The service was also super quick, and our server was also sweet enough to offer us a window table when parties were leaving. Definitely a great spot to check out for drinks with a nice view!

The ambience of this place is immaculate with amazing views! The service was friendly and prompt. I ordered drinks and food and everything was delish, especially this charcuterie board. Music was great too!

Beautiful, but busy! The drinks are only ok but the view wow... It was easy for us to get a table but it's pretty loud and full of flashing cameras!

    Lychee martini was good!

It's located in the Marriott Hotel on the top floor. Follow the elevators and go the the top floor. They check you in with your ID as it's a 21+ bar. There's seating around the bar as well as a few tables right next to the windows. There's are other sections for seating including couch seating where servers come to you. They offer light bites until 10:00pm. I ordered a lychee martini and it was just as I expected. I tasted the espresso martini and it was perfect! I would recommend coming here for a nice cocktail night out.

Beautiful view. Loved everything here. They don't take reservation and only take walk-ins. We came here on Friday after 9 pm and only had to wait 10-15 mins before finding a great spot to be seated. The city was gorgeous, service was amazing and the ambiance is to die for. Very romantic atmosphere. Definitely a date spot

The mushroom bahn mi sliders were amazing - the quality fillings and taste of the soft bun - I was unexpectedly hit with a bite of spice from maybe jalapeño seeds left but didn't sour my experience. The shishito peppers ended up being extremely spicy as well, those are usually just a few spicy and not the majority. The roasted lemon and salt was a wonderful combo but just too spicy to eat. However, the server very kindly removed it from our bill without us asking. We order the crostini because we were still hungry and that was an absolute hit. Delicious med-soft crostini with luscious berries and sweet honey. I didn't care my hands got sticky as it was soooo good! Great experience, I would be weary if the peppers as I'm a bit spice-intolerant but everything else was spot-on.

I first got the namesake cocktail: Blind Pig. It was incredibly well-balanced, and the flame presentation upon arrival was an epic mini show. Later during last call, I decided to risk it all and roll the dice to order from the secret menu. I rolled a 5, which got me a wine & Japanese beer concoction with Sichuan peppercorn. Once it was 11pm, the bouncer started to let everybody in, so I'm guessing they only let people inside every 30 minutes to prevent overcrowding, even though once we got in it wasn't that crowded and there was plenty of open space outside too. Having to wait only gave us about an hour inside. It says they close at 12am and that is exactly when they close--you can't stay any longer than that. I'm used to bars typically staying open about 30 minutes to an hour after the listed closing time to allow customers inside to finish up. As soon as 12am hits, the bouncer starts going around and constantly telling you to hurry it up because they are closed now. The service was also pretty slow, which did not give us much time at all to sip and enjoy the drinks before they closed. We started off ordering two drinks, then our waiter came back about 10 minutes later and asked for last call so we ordered another one (this was before our two drinks even came out yet). After about 15 minutes, we got all three drinks and the waiter apologized and said he didn't charge us for the third drink since it took so long. This gave us only about 10-15 minutes to finish our drinks before we started to get told we had to leave. At least my drink (apple bottom beets) was good and I was able to chug it, but I would rather be able to take my time and enjoy a drink. Their menu is huge, and they have a wide selection of different cocktails categorized under which type of liquor is used (rum, agave, brandy). The ambiance is dark and romantic.

The Shoji Burger is what hubs came for. Fork and knife definitely need to eat this. Pillowy soft bread, melty cheese, and the pickles all made for a tasty burger. Hubs would return for this alone. Ended our meal with the Hojicha Affogato - so good and such an enjoyable way to end our meal. We weren't rushed at any time. Service was good in that they checked on us often. I'd like to visit during the day time to check out their cafe offerings. Also, although not right away, we'd definitely return again for dinner.
