My partner brought me here on Saturday. We arrived around 6:30 and had no trouble getting a table with a view. Service as great, friendly and quick! Servers were frequently walking around attending to all the tables. We loved everything we ate except the tuna ( we didn't like the sauce) the tuna was great we just didn't like the sauce For drinks we had the Garden Fizz, Paloma, and Lycheetini. All wonderful For food we had : charcuterie board, prawn cocktail ( HUGE prawns and my second favorite dish), ahi tuna tataki, chicken adobo tacos and the Prosciutto flatbread ( my favorite!) For dessert we shared the Ube Crème Brûlée I wanted to try the house made chips cause they looked delicious but I was too full. Definitely a great place to come and celebrate!

Okay this has to be the most expensive hotel dining I've ever gone to. $27 for a DRINK. WHAT. $30 something for 2 sliders. WHAT. Although the view is cool and food is yummy, it will never be worth that much. We got the sliders and the pizza and lychee martini. Drink was SOOO strong. Athe end of the day, you are in a hotel bar... service was fast in the beginning but took forever to get our check.

Pretty view of the city and nicely crafted cocktails. You seat yourself so it can be tricky to find available seating. I came here on a Thursday night and there was a good amount of seats. The lychee-tini was very sweet and well made.

My friend and I wandered in on a Saturday evening and were lucky enough to get a seat with a view! For some reason though, I forgot to take a picture of The view! Usually in a place that has a great view. The food might not be so great. That is definitely not the case here! Our cocktails were fantastic and the appetizers were absolutely delicious. Great, friendly, prompt service. Also. Highly recommend a visit here.

Always a good time and the vibes are stellar. Staff friendly and attentive. View is spectacular even on foggy days. The food ain't bad either. Come around sunset and night for city view magic.

While pricey, the views are immaculate and the staff top notch making this a great spot if you're in SOMA. I stayed at the Mariott so it was very convenient to pop up to the top floor one of the nights of my stay and I'm so glad I did. I recommend getting there early to get a coveted window seat and try and stay for sunset - gorgeous views even on a cloudy day. The potato chips with onion dip are also a must try and I really enjoyed the lychee martini, though I did swap gin for the vodka it normally comes with.

I miss the days when we could come here regularly to see Pure Ecstasy perform. Brought my friend up here last night for birthday. The weather cleared up and it was a perfect view, just as I remember. Servers were great. Atmosphere 5 stars. Even the ice cube is extra! Definitely worth visit if you are in the area!

Had the perfect day after MOMA stopping off for the classic view Martini. Lovely little pairing with the chips and scallion dip. The ambience is amazing and after 5 years in the city, finally got to try this spot. Great place to take family/friends when they are in town. Very good service

Absolutely stunning views of SF! I am so happy I spent a little time over at The View Lounge. Arrived at around 7pm and the place was happening in a weeknight! Honestly, I felt a little underdressed since everyone seemed so dashing and out together. I'll know that for next time. Sat right at the bar and TBH I felt like Batman peering over Gotham City. The views here are unmatched and the vibes inside are so swanky. For food, my latest obsession has been tuna, so I opted for the tuna Tataki. So yummy, flavorful, and in the most hypnotic sauces Ever! I paired this with a lycheetini which was yummy and refreshing. Cute little dinner at The View Lounge! This is the ultimate romantic date spot! Can't wait to come back and snuggle up with the boo and enjoy!

Marriot hotel bar with high ceiling and great view with bars and nice interior. Only reason 4 star is that I've never get to seat near the dome window seat. Cocktails tasted great and view was nice. Wish muic could be improved.

It's my second time here and the view lounge does not disappoint with it comes to VIEW of the city . Food is good . although could be presented in a more an appealing way. I like personally like the scallops and the cheese charcuterie Pretty pricey ( I guess your paying for the "view " ) - for a dinner date but if you have friends and you're there to have some appetizers and a few drinks , split the cost it's okey. Waiting for the sunset is definitely the vibe ! Really pretty up there ! It's nice to that it's first come first serve basis . It opens at 4pm so if u want great seats be there 5-10 mins early .

Everyone wants to be on top especially in the city of San Francisco. Lots of people showing off their on top of San Francisco in my social media feed. Getting to the top of San Francisco hasn't been so simple. There are lots of places to enjoy a drink and a place to hang out with a view of the top of San Francisco. Then there is lots of POPO's (Privately Owned Public Open Spaces) in SF. Although there are lots of rooftops are popping up through San Francisco but ask yourself a question: Can you stand the rain ? If you want somewhere that is cozy and dry during the cuffing season there are some that are indoors places with a big beautiful aerial view of the San Francisco high rises and landscape. There is Top of the Mark and the Starlite along with City Scape Sky Bar at the Hilton in San Francisco. Another indoor place and hotel with an aerial view of San Francisco is inside the Marriott Marquis Hotel on Mission street on the 39th floor called the View Lounge. I usually come here as a pit stop for next place and sometimes I stay throughout midnight. I like when they have live music and it's more like a lounge to enjoy the city lights with a view from above and to witness the big beautiful view of the San Francisco skyline. They have couches and sofa like seating area with pillows to get cozy. They also have food available with dishes like chicken adobo tacos and dessert with Matcha cake. The drinks here are good and I usually grab a few glasses of wine and top it off with some champagne. There is "place "in San Francisco with a good view to " embrace" the view of the big beautiful San Francisco skyline is hard to "replace"which makes you feel closer to "outer space " Go to floor "Thirty Nine " not at Pier 39 but on Mission street at the View Lounge where you have a aerial of buildings and some business "sign" a place has the view of the San Francisco amazing " skyline" and a great place to grab a glass of red "wine"

Gorgeous, unbeatable views of the city. And to our surprise, the food was also undeniably delicious! We ordered the tacos, sliders, potato chips, olives, and mushroom flatbread--all of them were a hit! The potato chips were absolutely addicting and we couldn't stop reaching for them. The other items were spot-on, but I especially enjoyed the tacos, super juicy and packed with flavor. This is a wonderful spot to wind down or celebrate a special occasion with delicious appetizers accompanied by the dim, moody ambiance and stunning views of SF.

The shishito peppers ended up being extremely spicy as well, those are usually just a few spicy and not the majority. The roasted lemon and salt was a wonderful combo but just too spicy to eat. However, the server very kindly removed it from our bill without us asking. We order the crostini because we were still hungry and that was an absolute hit. Delicious med-soft crostini with luscious berries and sweet honey. I didn't care my hands got sticky as it was soooo good! I was the only person in the bar on a Sunday at 4PM, and they were still cleaning and setting up when I arrived. I ordered the Thai Tea Milk Punch (Scotch-based) because I'll never turn down anything TT-flavored, and the chips with spinach/artichoke dip. The bartender made me a delicious drink and brought out water. I made myself comfortable at a high top near the window. The bar was dark and cozy and I loved the balance of cat decor... it was noticeable but not TOO much. I saw an indoor clear "catio" that looked like it was set up for a cat to live in, but sadly, no cat. I finished my drink and was about to leave, thinking they forgot about my chips/dips because no one had ever said anything to me about them. They were brought out just as I was about to close my tab, so I hung out a little longer. It was decent, solid hot spinach/artichoke dip with extra cheese on top. I really liked my drink and might come back for another one, or something in a cat mug! Friendly, laid-back vibes.
