I order out once or twice a month and my pizza was made to perfection and my buffalo wings were moist and tender. Love these guy's.

We pre-ordered 36 pieces of broasted chicken and a large thin crust pizza to go for a Mother's Day family event. Both were a big hit as several out of town family members had not been to this Carbones location before. I really appreciated the care and attention that Sam and the kitchen staff put in to our order to make everything a hit for us. I wanted to share some feedback about my experience tonight. I come here regularly for dinner, but this visit was extremely disappointing because of the service I received. My server, listed on the receipt as Server: Edie S, provided very poor service. After I asked for the check, it took about 10 minutes for it to come back. When she did return, she didn't stop at the table. She simply walked by and tossed the check onto the table without saying anything. Throughout the meal she also never came back to the table to ask how the food was or if I needed anything else. We came here for bingo and it was my second time here. The first time I ordered a French dip and I remember enjoying it. It was a standard pub French dip in my opinion. The next time I ordered the chicken Alfredo. I don't know if it was an off night or if this is normal but the Alfredo was like a thick paste, like glue consistency. It's as if someone didn't put enough water to alter the viscosity to an edible consistency. I would rate this a 1 star dish based on the glue like consistency. One of the common lunch stops when I'm down in Rosemount. Not a bad place to stop; they do have a very reasonable lunch buffet ($9.99 and includes a drink). I think I would like better if ordering from the menu. The spaghetti sauce is what really did it in for me. Maybe it was from sitting on the buffet, but it was extremely thin and lacking flavor. Great onion rings! But skip the pasta. This was my first experience at a Carbones. We had a large group of 18 and the service was excellent. Our waitress was constantly refilling our drink orders and effortlessly figured out which teen's meals belonged to which parents, even though we sat in different tables. There was a birthday party for a small child going on in the nearby party room and these toddlers were just running around with no parents chasing them, so the service staff had their hands full. Not their fault, but I appreciated that they were trying to keep everyone safe despite the negligent parents. Ambiance was good for a mid-western bar with sports on tv, pull tabs and some arcade games. They had all sorts of beer on tap. They have most liquors too, but couldn't make an Aperol Spritz so I just went with a different drink. Here's what we ate: Western Cheddar Burger (4/5) $13 Delish Cheeseburger (3/5) $12 Standard Mostaccioli (1/5) $11 Bland; would not order again. Fish Sandwich (3/5) $11. Tartar sauce was good. If you like onion rings, try their onion rings... SO good! The waffle fries had a sauce and were good but not great. Their regular fries are standard. I didn't try the pizza because thin crust is not my favorite type of pizza and that seemed to be their specialty. read more

The pizza sauce is horrendous I would rather have a frozen pizza and I watched Cyn the owner yell at a customer by responding get the f out of Carbone's. I was taken back that the owner is cussing at guests. This place is a mess you have the owner cussing at guests, horrendous pizza and don't even get me started on the bathrooms. The janky toilet doesn't even flush and when I walked in I saw a couple kids who looked to be around 16 smoking weed in the bathroom. Do you need help making an alfredo sauce? I can go to Cub buy $1 noodles and a $3 edible alfredo sauce that would taste better than this $18 dish. I can't remember the last time I've been to an establishment like Carbone's in Rosemount with Cyn the owner who I personally watched treat her customers like crap. read more

After living in the area my whole life I still go to Rosemount for pizza pretty regularly. The pizza is the best out of all the other Carbonies in the metro. Tons of toppings and cheese and you can have them cook it a extra few minutes to get the edges done a little more. Bar staff is always good (Sam) and attentive. This Carbones is in Rosemount. There are several locations around town and they are not the same. We have a Carbones in Farmington near our house but we choose to drive further for better place and service. This Carbones is consistently good. The service is good and most importantly the food is great. The have a lot of daily specials that are interesting. Wednesday has $4 margaritas. I took a photo of the specials for you to see them easily. The pizza here is the reason we come here and it is always good and piping hot. Stopped for late lunch early dinner On Saturday. Not overly busy, seated right away and waitress came quickly, returned with drinks and asked if ready to order said not quite yet and asked for a couple minutes. Returned 20-25 minutes later and we ordered appetizers and meals. Everything came at once( pet peeve of mine is when you order an appetizer it comes with main course, also my meal came with salad and had to ask for salad after meal arrived. Once meals were served, asked if we needed anything else, order another round and after it was delivered did not see waitress again. after I would say 45 minutes (drinks empty) waitress walked by, flagged her over and asked for box (left over pizza) and tab. After 35 minutes again asked her for box and tab, she appeared flustered that we asked her again ( we are not demanding people, "go with flow" types but come on, that is an unreasonable amount of time to be ignored. Yes it did get busier while we were there, we arrived at 3:30 ish and didn't get out until after 5:30...... Food was good but the wait staff did not perform well. Not happy read more

Okay, maybe a little generous, but I like the pizza and so does the rest of the gang. Carbone's in Rosemount is sort of a standby for lunchgoers. They have a buffet they keep well supplied with pizza and a salad bar, some cheese bread, a sauceless za, a simple penne pasta and sauce and now and then; fried chicken. I have a weakness for this lunch. It costs about 10 bux a head with a pop; the service is decent, and it is AYCE, which is a curse, but some like it. I like that I can get a salad. The salad is dreadfully simple, but I always get one. Almost always some fresh romaine and a good selection of dressings; I love the french, basically pizza toppings, and a couple others like croutons and bacon bits round it out. Missing is my salad bars favorites; cottage cheese and sunflowers seeds (x10!). The drink service is okay, but the servers here walk a LONG way to beverage fills, so it can be slow when busy. The chicken is delicious; despite it being heavily salted. I usually opt for like a wing and a thigh or a couple wings; more is just too much sodium for my non-pharma bp management! I probably eat here 50-100 times a year with pizza deliveries. It is not my favorite pizza, but we are in their delivery area; so easy. I probably would give them 5 stars if they added sunflower seeds and a deep dish to the buffet. Again, generous, but don't bite the hand that feeds you! read more

It's hard to review this place. To me it seemed that wasn't really a pizza restaurant but more of a blue-collar, hard-drinking, dive bar merged with a pizza restaurant. If you're out to get drunk and like to eat when you're drunk, this is your place. If you want to take the family out for pizza, go somewhere else. It looks like Rosemount is finely starting to become a normal suburb, and I would guess that the days are numbered for the likes of this place. The pizza is fine, the service is spotty, the prices are average, the decor is depressing. Good for alcoholics, bad for families. read more

DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE!! They left my food outside the door with NO WARNING OR NOTIFICATIONS!! We are deaf so we cannot hear the door knocking. When we called, they did not let us know that the delivery is no contact. They gathered our phone number which if they called, we wouldve known. When we waited over 90 minutes and called back, they claimed the driver is on their way and to wait 5 more minutes. After calling again, they said the food is outside the door. I told them we did not know this because we are deaf and cannot hear knocking. The food is cold. Like Minnesota outside cold. We asked for our money back. They refused to give it back. The food isnt even worth it. Its all nasty and you're better off spending your money on another Carbone's location. Not this one. read more

Carbone's rarely disappoints us, however, tonight with our P/U order of a Lg Chicken Bruschetta pizza... it was a total disappointment. Overall it had good flavor, but the chicken was flavorless, over cooked, and tough. Add that approximately 20% of the crust had no toppings and was burnt. Finally, we hadn't finished even half of the pizza when we started to find pieces of "plant stem" almost a 1/4 inch round. That...was all we could take. read more

I love in California now and there's no delivery pizza like Carbone's and every single time I come home, my family knows this had to be one of my first Minnesota meals. You really just can't beat it. Carbone's are everywhere, but this Carbone's location is by far the most authentic. Especially on Tuesdays where they have "kids night", which has a face paint artists, games, and prizes. The pizza buffet is reasonable with an assortment of different toppings with side salads and pastas. read more

Sometime after ten this place comfortably accomodated 14 of us for an after party at the Shamrock film festival, on a beautiful patio. After 9 they have a one topping pizza for $8. The server, John went above and beyond, offered us separate checks, was very organized and personable. The pizzas were delicious, I tried the pineapple, and the sausage. I ordered really good buffalo wings. It's odd they come with a blue cheese for wing dipping only, no veggies. It's a beautiful, and very large restaurant inside. Ordered calzones for dinner tonight and both were WAY undercooked - no browning on the crust, raw dough in the middle. Aside from the crust being practically inedible, the filling (sausage and mushrooms) did not taste good and the sauce was fowl tasting as well. Wow.....This is by far the worst customer service I have ever received. I had never received a credit to my card from my experience in August but thought ok they are issuing me credit in store, so I figured there would be some credit on my account there, yes it was all of $6.00!! Are you kidding me, I received a 1/4 of my $30.00 meal and you credit me $6.00???!!! This was after speaking with 3 employees, 2 of which were managers. They made no attempt to right their wrong. I will spend my money at Carbones Lakeville where the food is always good and their customer service is top notch. read more
