This felt like a nice "ma and pa" restaurant. I could tell it was well loved, because all the tables were filled quickly. Staff was very nice and on point. Although they were busy, our drinks and orders came through fast and were very fresh. All the food was fresh and very good. My favorite were the onion rings and breadsticks. I would recommend a half order when you can. I was super hungry and just ordered everything.

Absolutely love this restaurant. When you walk in, you are hit with the wonderful smells coming from the kitchen. The one downside was it took quite some time for the server to make her way to our table and when we were ready to pay, we ended up going to the front. We ordered the Hot Turkey dinner and Chicken Parmigiana. The serving sizes were huge, especially for the price. What we took home was enough for another meal for each of us. The pasta sauce is absolutely delicious as was the entire turkey dinner (only complaint on this was not enough gravy). They previously only accepted cash, however they now take cards.

We came for their Sunday night pasta special ($10.99), which includes a pasta choice from a select menu, salad, and breadsticks. It's really a good value, and the serving size is such that we can make two meals from a serving. It's clearly a neighborhood favorite spot, as the place was pretty full. The salad is good for a side salad; the breadsticks are served warm and have a sprinkling of Parmesan and garlic on them; the Spaghetti Magnifico has a red sauce with bell pepper, onions, mushrooms + 2 meatballs. The red sauce is tangy and the addition of the vegetables really adds a lot. The interior space decorations reminded me of grandma's house (flowers, teacups, kitschy wall decor), and the food is equally comforting. We didn't have to wait too long for our server at any point in the meal: ordering, checking in on the meal, or paying the bill. She didn't give off a warm or welcoming vibe; she seemed focused on juggling a full house and was succeeding. My only criticisms: the dining room floor and bathrooms looked like they needed some attention and didn't feel clean. Note: there is a parking lot but it is extremely small and hard to get out of if it is full.

Order the breadsticks. That's almost all I have to say. Breadsticks are a crowd favorite, but homemade breadsticks is a game changer. The sauce that accompanies it is great too! My 5yo son was literally scooping it out with a spoon after we devoured the breadsticks. The only downside is that this places only accepts cash. There's an ATM on site, but paying ATM fees is annoying.

It's such a cute little cozy place. The staff is immediately friendly and makes you feel at home when you walk in. It is cash or check only for payments. The food is such good portion sizes and tastes good. I got the chicken parmigiana with penne noodles and it was the best I've found since moving to MN. You get a soup or salad with all pastas, I got the French onion soup which had great flavor. All pastas are also serviced with Parmesan breadsticks or a fresh baked loaf of bread. We ordered the fried ravioli and they were good and filled with plenty of cheese filling. My bf got the lasagna and it wasn't his favorite but it was ok, he would try something different next time. My mom got the pomodoro and added chicken. She liked it and thought that it was light enough but still had flavor. I would definitely recommend if you're looking for good Italian and I will be back again!

I remember coming here as a child with my family in the 90s and we made our way back recently and we're so glad that we did! The past two times we've visited we've ordered the Open Faced Turkey Sandwich. The Large is $13 and will feed you for days!!

My best friend and I were pleased... The restaurant was a little busy, but we received quick and attentive service. We had a wonderful server. However, it seemed we were being rushed a little bit towards the end of our meal. The food was good, well-seasoned and brought in great portion sizes. Be sure to ask for a side of marinara for the breadsticks. Overall, 4/5 it was great but we weren't blown away

Maybe the pizza is better? This place was very busy. We noticed we were the youngest individuals in the location. Service was amazing! Our salad and soup (not pictured) came out very quickly. Then the popovers came out - they had a weird smell and metallic taste. We barely finished our original bite. Our fish dinners arrived. The fish was decent and the tartar sauce was good. The mashed potatoes were gummy - and possibly instant. Little Oven only accepts cash or checks.

Great Pizza. Great service. Try their breadsticks. A great neighborhood place. They have a large parking lot across the street.

The breadsticks are very oily. The building and ambiance is very outdated. But it's also part of the charm of the restaurant.

Great location for people visiting Park Square Theatre…read more They don't do half and half of their specialty pizzas so you just have to build your own from scratch. Another way to charge more. We split a pizza and that was fine. It was good pizza with generous toppings. Service was good too. For dessert we went around the corner to Candyland.

The location is convenient for people attending downtown events, although when events like that are going on and you just want to park somewhere and try their food, that parking can be challenging. Detroit-style pizza is unique. It comes in thick rectangular slabs, and the crust is unusually airy. They have interesting concoctions to try, incorporating different types of peppers as well as whipped honey and pineapple relish. For my first visit, I got a cacio e pepe pizza, which had actual noodles on it that were surprisingly cool. The second time I came, I had a single slice with pepperoni & sausage, and I can confirm that I really like their pizza. When it comes to pizza, my preference is normally for either Neopolitan or New York style, but these squares are tasty and satisfying to eat. I also got "Pizza Rowls", which I loved. With that entree, you get three long things that look like big egg rolls but are stuffed with tons of creamy cheese, sauce, and meat. It also comes with an arugula salad. It all tasted great. They have very friendly service, although I was forced to sit at the bar this last time because of the crowds. I don't like bar seating and in hindsight it seemed like I would have had a table if I'd just waited a few minutes instead of the half-hour I was told to expect. They're new at the moment so they might still be figuring out their flow; they have plenty of tables so you'll probably generally not have an issue there. They have a special Sunday brunch menu that is intriguing as well. You should totally try them out!
