The food here is consistently excellent -- the OG Rigatoni is an absolute must‑try. But today, my review is all about their outstanding customer service. We had a small mix‑up with our bill (completely our oversight), and because we were having such a great night, none of us noticed until the next morning. I called the manager the following afternoon, and without hesitation, he corrected the issue immediately. The way he handled the situation was exceptional. That level of integrity and professionalism has earned them lifelong customers. We've already shared our experience with friends, not just because the food is amazing, but because the service truly stands out. Saturday breakfast Just me and one other party One cup of coffee and glass of water when I sat down great. Ordered right away: 2 eggs bacon toast. It's been 15 minutes. No more coffee. No breakfast. Nobody to flag down Hey I just saw the other party get served. Guess they waited longer than 15 minutes for their food. At least I see someone I can go ask for more coffee and water as I was about to get up to ask her my server came with my food. Eggs are done correctly. Toast and bacon good. And yes more coffee and water. Two stars since food and coffee are good. So food is good just don't expect it within 20 minutes I guess. Loud music which is nice for a bar but not really for breakfast. I've stayed at Hotel Winters multiple times and wanted to try Carbonis but didn't have the chance until today. Stopped by Carbonis during my girls trip to Winters, and it was a perfect place for some small bites and delicious drinks. We shared the burrata toast and scallops, and they were both SO good. The toast was topped with a very generous serving of burrata, and the olive tapenade complemented it so well. The scallops were also cooked to perfection, I was honestly sad when we had finished them (I considered ordering another serving, but had to keep my appetite for dinner). We also ordered cosmos, and that was also a great addition to our little hangout; good drinks always make the vibe! The inside is so cute and inviting. It's very clean and the service was attentive. The prices are great in my opinion. My husband and I ate for under 100$ and that's almost unheard of these days. We even got a beer and dessert and appetizer. We got the scallops, Caesar salad, rigatoni à la vodka, cookie butter gelato and every dish was delish! I originally made reservations for 6pm on a Saturday just to ba safe, but when we got there about 30 minutes early we were seated right away. No questions about many reservation so we were golden. The inside is very nice and spacious so it doesn't feel overcrowded. I was a bit disappointed to hear that they were out of Ribeye as I was looking forward to trying that, but our server said their grilled hangar steak was a popular choice so I went with that. The meat was very tender and cooked perfectly. Really good flavor. The fingerling potatoes were a nice touch as well. My wife really enjoyed her Shrimp Scampi. I ended up buying their 3-cheese pizza to go because I was also curious how their pizza was. Nice Neopolitan style with amazing crust. The cheese was outstanding and the pizza itself wasn't overly sauced which I like. Another nice local spot Winters has to offer. Maybe next time I'll try their lasagna. read more

I participated in the Vezer wine and meal 5-course pairing - the price was $95 per person and I feel like it was a steal! Service was impeccable, food was amazing, and the ambiance was great. I'd never been to Carbonis before and this was a great way to witness their talent. Used to be better. Lost the customer service which ruins everything. Rude, inattentive and careless service. Oscar is terrible at the bar. His Attitude and demeanor is awful. Other staff are scattered and not on point. Wish they change it up back to how it was. Won't go back! Not sure why the score was a little low here. I flew in for business and the parents wanted to meet up and they picked the place for a late dinner. I knew about Buckhorn in Winters but didn't know about anything else downtown. First impression was that it looked nice and we were greeted promptly and seated at our table. Service was good, good drinks, nice selection of bourbons, and a good menu that made it hard to decide! I went with my old fave the chicken parm and it def did not disappoint! Perfectly cooked throughout and not dry. Great house salad. Tiramisu was a nice treat after. Parents loved their food and were happy. Overall it was a hit! read more

A hidden gem, the staff is so friendly the food is delicious, the drinks are perfect. There was a one man band playing and he welcomed people to sing. Our waitress "Ireland " went above and beyond to make our meal memorable. The grilled shrimp were perfectly cooked and the rice was delicious, we had dessert. Over rated, over priced! Food mediocre... Service horrible! Very slow, inattentive. I happened to leave my new white thin sweater, trimmed in lace behind at the table. I called to ask if ANYONE had to turned it in. The young female person who answered the phone was adamant that NOTHING as I described was not found. Thank God our Hotel was close, we drove back to the restaurant. I asked the bartender, who told me if ANYTHING was left. It would be at the Hotel front desk. As I was waiting for the employee to check in lost/found. A busboy from the restaurant appeared with an "object" in his hand. It was my sweater!!! Point being: if a customer leaves ANYTHING behind, immediately hand it over to a responsible, mature person in charge!!! Trust me I will NEVER eat at this establishment again. AND being a person in F & B , I will definitely inform ALL of my friends as well. read more

We are staying at the Winters Hotel and received a $30 dining credit for Carboni's so we canceled our reservations at Buckhorn and decided to give them a try. We asked to sit at the rooftop bar but it was closed for renovations so we decided to eat inside and it was pretty quiet on the booth side by the kitchen. There were some larger parties on the other side so glad we were sat on the quieter side. Food was amazing and service was great. We got the artichokes and garlic bread and both were delicious. I don't like artichokes but these were fried and paired with peppers and I think a butter sauce and they were actually quite delicious. The garlic bread was light, airy and the marinara was really good. For dinner we had a make your own pizza with garlic sauce, grilled chicken, spinach, bell peppers and red onion. The crust was thin and light, sauce was garlicky and the grilled chicken perfect. Not chewy or tough. We also shared the O- G Rigatoni which the sauce was creamy, sausage was tasty and the sun dried tomatoes added extra flavor. Unfortunately we were stuffed and didn't get dessert and forgot to take pics. Definitely a good experience and we would definitely eat there again. read more

First time coming here for breakfast and we were honestly pretty disappointed with the food here. The avocado toast was $14 and came out cold with a very small portion. The eggs Benedict was also on the smaller side and didn't come with any sides, which made it feel even less worth the price. I also tried the plain yogurt bowl, which wasn't sweet at all, definitely not what I was expecting and not very enjoyable for me. The one highlight of the visit was the Bloody Mary (which also was $10) but the second one I ordered had a lemon and the first had a lime so not consistent but it was actually really good and well made. Overall, the drinks were better than the food. With the small portions and high prices, I don't feel like the meal was worth it and we ended up eating elsewhere after. We expected better since their dinner is exquisite everytime. The service was great and attentive which we always appreciate that. read more

Food and staff is great. We were a little sad the whole menu wasn't available because it was Valentine's Day but what they did have was great. We only saw our waiter a couple of times we didn't mention it because we know v day gets busy but when she brought the check she apologized and gave us 50% off our bill. Stopped off in downtown Winters for a bite to eat and a place to watch football. First time here, but not last. The Ambiance is lovely. High ceilings, modern look, and the huge kitchen area is surrounded by glass so diners can see the chefs at work, which I find to be a fun restaurant feature. We sat at the bar, where we could see the football game above us. It was nice they had a couple TVs, but by no means did it feel like a bar or Sports place. It felt upscale, modern, and an absolutely perfect place for a nice meal. read more

For a hotel restaurant, I will say this was one of the better ones I've had. I got the pasta and it was pretty good. Creamy and good noodles. Great bread that they give you with the oil. And the French onion soup was really good. Service was excellent and the space is pretty big. read more

We had the shrimp over risotto and the fettuccini Alfredo with added chicken. The shrimp was so fresh and the risotto very tasty, but not too rich. I truly enjoyed this dish and I was full. The fettuccini Alfredo was good but the chicken we added came as thin, small pieces sprinkled on top. Would have rather had half a chicken breast sliced and placed on top of the pasta. We went for birthday dinner on a Monday and was disappointed that the service to even take an order took 15 minutes. When our server was able to attend us, he did his best to make up for the delay. He even provided a candle for the birthday dessert. What was a huge disappointment is that my order of salmon was served raw and then the second attempt was charcoal burnt on one side. The server was accomodating and took it off our check. The other dishes served were passable but not worth the cost. Get a better cook and always train a back up to the server to at least take drink orders and serve bread. read more
