Alright, alright. Time for some honesty, it has been several years since I've last visited the dentist office. Maybe it just slipped my mind or maybe there was a slight fear of needing to get work done on my mouth. Either way I knew it was time to change that. When I came to visit this convenient office off Fletcher Parkway all my worries immediately subsided. The staff was friendly, the office clean and quaint, and there no wait time. I recently returned for a visit to do a cleaning and I NEED to shout out their best staff member. Her name is Bianca !! Knowing how unfamiliar I was with what to expect and how nervous I was getting for the procedure, she calmly walked me through what was going to happen, before you know it she had me laughing in my chair and feeling completely comfortable. Going is the dentist is never fun, lets face it!! I have always been fearful! I really don't like the numbing process before any procedure and usually have high anxiety starting the night before. Wow!!!! The two best dentist experiences I have ever had in my 33 years of life!!! Starting with the awesome receptionist. She is absolutely the best. Dr. Siami's dental assistant Bianca was so sweet and comforting, even offering to hold my hand during my two cavity fills. Dr. Siami was so informative, nice and fast... all in all amazing!! Needless to say my first visit to cardinal dental was sooooooooooooo much better than expected. My second visit was for a much dreaded root canal. I was so nervous!!! However, Dr. Dziura the Endodontist there was the coolest and nicest dentist ever!! he made sure the root canal was painless and fast. I can not emphasize how AMAZING every single dentist working in this dental office is. The place was a joke for cost...I recently went in for an examine and x rays which was no cost on my insurance card so I was happy until I got the ridiculous cost of a tooth extraction actually cost.No wonder they all accept these phony dental insurance plans that actually cover nothing of any value... I was expecting no more than 65 to 115.00 which was stated on the cost sheet before you go in so you have an idea what it will cost.Then the bait and switch game begins with them scrolling through a computer next to the exam chair which made my scam sensors go off...Being in sales for 40 years I could smell the stench in price gouging and bait and the switch game instantly...With in a few minutes I am told that the procedure has to have a bone graph or they will not perform the extraction at a cost of 435.00 total which was a total sham to say the least since I have had extractions in the past on molars in Mexico that are 40.00 at Washington Dental Clinic...In the past I have had 2 previous root canals for 450 to 500 complete with the Porcelain crown that have lasted for 10 years with zero issues.These dental hatchet rackets shops are all crooked up here and charge 1600 to 2000 for the same root canal and crown procedure and the reason people fly in from all over the nation since they save a grand with a mini vacation included...I was willing to pay a little extra in San Diego since my wife got some insurance recently but the prices are a joke for what you get in return considering its just dentistry not rocket science...It's not like they are real Doctors that went through medical school and are performing an actual surgery...The girls were fine at the front desk and it seems they are way over staffed and they seem to run a fairly professional outfit but you can tell right off the bat with all the staff and examine rooms you are not getting any deals or discounts of any kind here...The owners in this shady place are rolling in the cash no doubt soil your doing anything other than cleaning or X-rays do yourself and your wallet a huge favor and head south to TJ go to Washington Dental and see for yourself why everyone waiting in their waiting area is an American that is sick and tired of getting ripped off and extorted in the states for dental work ...Keep in mind when you cross the border to just tell the cab driver to take you to Washington dental and they will pay for your cab ride to them and back and they will also pay for your parking with a receipt. Until dentists make their prices reasonable boycott them for good and go south. read more

I called Cardinal Dental because I hadn't been to the dentist in a while due to insurance mix ups. I called one day and got in the next. No waiting. I needed a check up and cleaning. This was my very first experience with this dental office. The office lady and the dentist were good. I just could not believe how unprofessional the office manager was. She was very pushy about me doing a dental procedure that day even though I never agree to do it. Even the dentist stated that it was not an urgent matter that I will be out of the office with a simple cleaning for today's visit. After I said "let me think about the procedure" her facial expression changed and she said "okay, you can go". So, I said "what about my cleaning?" The office manager said that would be $45. I said to her I never got charged for my cleaning at my previous dental offices. She insisted that I had to pay. At this point, I was fed up with this whole experience and I left the office. Immediately after I left the office, I made a phone call to the insurance company and asked about my coverage and I was told that I was right about my coverage that I did not have to pay for the cleaning. He even said it was very strange for them not explaining things fully and just wanted to follow through with the procedure without any printing to show. This place is a rip off. If I were you, run the other way and never come back to this place. The office manager is the person you really need to stay away from . She just wants your wallet. read more

First off I want to say that my visit wasn't a terrible experience. The Dr. and office staff were all very nice and explained everything; they had a lot of high tech dental equipment as well. However, I'm a dental hygienist from out of town and wanted to get my teeth cleaned while I was in San Diego for the summer, so I tried this place out. The Dr. looked at my x-rays and told me that he saw I had previously fillings, and when I told him I never had a filling he didn't believe me. I would know if I've ever had a filling, I'm a dental hygienist! Then he looked inside my mouth, never checked for cavities with an explorer and told me everything looked good. The Dr. then proceeded to polish my teeth, never once did they pick up a scaler to clean the calculus off my teeth. Trust me, I know my teeth were not that clean! I now know what people are talking about when they talk about California dentists. I definitely didn't feel like I was receiving good dental care and would never send anyone there if they wanted quality dental care. Like I said, everyone was very nice, but that's the only good thing I have to say. read more

This place is really good. I never had any problems with my teeth and was avoiding the visit to the dentist for quite a long time...until I've got a pain in my tooth and I had to find a good dentist. We decided to make our first appointment here a year ago based on Yelp reviews. So far, it's the best dental office we have been to. All the staff are super nice to my family and me. My children love going there as they know that they will always be treated well. Everyone is very patient and very conservative in their recommendations, making every appointment less stressful.
