Great dental office. Staff and doctors are wonderful! I hope I can find a new insurance that will allow me to continue my care with them.

Since my first review of Cardinal Dental was for a routine visit, this time I'm having a procedure a little less routine so I thought I'd review it as well..I'm having a crown removed and a new one placed due to some nasty decay that was found below. As usual, everything was done seamlessly AND painlessly, which is saying much for me as I have TMJ which usually causes me major jaw and headaches pain. Dr. Siami and his staff are still consistently friendly, professional, approachable and all around excellent at what they do! One of the things that i really appreciate about Dr Siami is that he is not pushy. I was told that I needed to have my crown removed on my first visit. Since the cavity under the crown wasn't bothering me I opted to wait until it did since the out of pocket amount is high. Noone tried to do a sale's pitch, which used to be the norm at my prior dental office. I'm so grateful I found them and look forward to their dental care/treatment (I never thought I'd say that about a dentist!! ) every six months on an ongoing basis. read more

After leaving Cardinal Dental office, I drove home in tears. A while ago, I replaced my upper denture. The first fitting, the denture was so far out that I could not close my mouth. The denture was sent back. The second fitting, the color of the teeth was not the same and it was very obvious. The third fitting, when the denture was placed in my mouth, my mouth was crooked. The denture did not seem even [higher on one side]. The fourth fitting, was finally good. After a few months, while eating a piece of fruit, the denture cracked in half. I returned to the dentist and mentioned that it seems as if the seat of the denture is very thin. I was reassured that the newer dentures are thinner. I just trusted that information. The denture was sent to the lab in Los Angeles for repairs. So glad I saved the old denture for back-up. Yesterday, while eating french fries, the denture cracked again in the same place. I called Cardinal Dental and made an appointment for today. Upon my arrival I noticed new faces. I learned that the previous owner sold the business. When I sat in the dentist chair, the dental assistant said, "and you are here for . . . long pause . . . . . hmmmm let me see." She then bent over and read the chart. Before [with the previous owner] as soon as I sat in the chair, the friendly ladies knew why I was there and prepped my for the dentist or the dental hygienist. I explained my history of mishaps with the new denture. She stated that they will figure out how much I need to pay. I stated that I did not pay before because this situation is not my fault. She excused herself and came back with another lady [she never stated that she was going to get the benefits person]. Brittany, the benefits person, came in stern stating that she realize that I was never billed, but that was under the old owner. I was not feeling comfortable as to why I need to pay for their mistake. So, Ms. Brittany went and got the doctor. When the doctor arrived. I explained the history of mishaps with the new denture. Basically, he stated, "I am taking on some else's problem and I can't take his problem on for free." Oh my goodness, was he saying that I, as a customer, is a problem? A dentist should never make a patient feel like they are a "problem." The new owner then preceded to tell me what the "book" says. He stated, "in the book, it states . . . " Get out the book and have some customer relations! Absolutely POOR customer service! read more

I went to Cardinal because I had a dental emergency. The establishment was clean, the front staff was friendly, and prompt. The assistant, hygienist, and the dentist were so easy to talk to and very professional. I really liked the fact that they did not try to sell me anything. I been at other places where they hear "insurance" and wanted to give me an entire full mouth of new teeth. Not here. I feel that makes them very honest at Cardinal. I received the x-rays in no time, they identified the problem, and had a solution AND most important they took care of it right away, not tomorrow or weeks after. This made a world of difference to me! I have an extremely busy schedule. The front personnel broke down my bill and that is it. Let me tell you I walked out happy, I called my provider and changed not only myself but my three children over to Cardinal. Great service. Prices are reasonable. The most positive, friendly, and caring hygienist I have ever had making my teeth cleaning experience PAINLESS and ENJOYABLE. Yes, e n j o y a b l e . Amazing, amazing, amazing! I cannot say enough good things about this place, the staff, and the dentist. I have major dental phobia and had not been to the dentist in five years before this visit and I have to say that this was the best dental experience I've ever had (that includes the time I tried sedation dentistry- which is hard to beat because I was unconscious, lol). I had a filling break and needed to get it fixed right away, so I went on Yelp and found Dr. Siami. I had such a great experience that I decided to write my very first ever Yelp review, in the hopes of helping someone else find a great dentist. All the Pros They got me in the same day I called for an emergency filling repair! Front office staff was extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and professional The hygienist was professional and caring, she also worked quickly and efficiently which for me, meant less time to be nervous Dental assistant was personable and talked me through the pre procedure stuff and helped me feel at ease since I was nervous (x-rays, etc.) Dentist was honest and straightforward. He did not lecture me or make me feel guilty that I had not been to the dentist is awhile. He was very skilled and efficient; clearly experienced. He made me feel instantly at ease about being there. He is conservative with treatment and did not recommend unnecessary or premature work (this is a huge issue at many places). I really appreciated his integrity. Accounting department clearly laid out costs, insurance, and treatment options before the procedure and did not pressure me about any particular decision or course of action. State of the art equipment and calming décor made it feel clean and professional without that unnerving hospital feel. I literally couldn't believe it was covered by my insurance; quality care from all staff and very modern, comfortable, office, cutting edge equipment. Finally I don't have to settle! I've been going to Cardinal Dental for about 4-5 years. Apparently there has been a change in the ownership and Dr. Siami no longer practices there? I say 'apparently' because although no change in my practitioner was mentioned to me, a different person examined me the last time I was there and Dr. Siami is no longer on the Cardinal Dental website. I suppose it's not that surprising, given I've found that patient communication has been on the decline for the past few years. My last 'examination' consisted of a very quick look-see and I was told that everything looked fine. There was no probing for pocket depth, which, although very uncomfortable, is a clear indication of progress or lack thereof with periodontal disorder, which I freely admit I struggle with. In fact, I don't remember the probe examination being done for YEARS, if at all. I've since gone to a new dentist and well, everything is not fine. I need a new deep cleaning to the tune of almost $1000, and that's WITH insurance. Had there been more thorough examinations at Cardinal, perhaps this could have been recognized and avoided. Oh, and the last time I was there, I was compared to a 'cancer patient', that took me aback a bit! If you are lucky enough to only need twice-a-year cleanings and occasional fillings, you'll be fine here. Otherwise, I would not recommend. read more

I just recently had a few fillings done, it was quick and painless. I love this place so much I had to come update my review. This is our family dentist now and I couldn't be more happy! Our 8 year old goes here, my husband, myself and soon our 3 year old for check ups. Who ever is in charge of hiring their staff is amazing because the whole entire staff is beyond awesome! I have never been to a dental office where everyone is friendly, down to earth, honest and professional. I feel very comfortable when I go here and so does my family. We have been a client of theirs for almost a year now and have been several times and never had any issues. They are not pushy or scary about informing you of the work you need done. There is no pressure or upselling when they put together your dental plan if you need one. I felt like I was in total control of everything and they were just guiding me, it's been the opposite at other places for me. They do their best to schedule you in for a time that works best for you. I actually enjoy going to the dentist now and because they are so cool my kids are having only positive experiences going to the dentist too. I have too many good things to say about them, I could go on but I'll keep it short. This dental office is fantastic!! I'm so scared of the dentist and haven't been in many years. Every staff member here is so sweet, friendly, and patient. They all just want to make sure you are comfortable at all times. They didn't make me feel guilty that I hadn't been to a dentist in so long. Today, I had some fillings done and a deep cleaning. Megan was super friendly and comforting when I first got there. Dr Siami was so quick and efficient, and my procedure was painless! Ashley, the hygienist is awesome too! Brand new dental insurance brand new dentist. Read a lot of reviews on Cardinal so I had to find out for myself. From the moment I stepped through the front door until the moment I left I was taken care of. The staff was polite, courteous and helpful. From the front desk, xray tech, hygienist, ofc mgr to the doctor himself I was impressed. They listened to my concerns and walked me through the process. I felt comfortable with the entire team. The office itself was clean, organized and just had an overall professional look.
