I am writing this review as the wife of the buyer because I believe other families deserve to know what to expect before making such an important purchase. My husband purchased a vehicle from this dealership and was allowed to take it home the same day. Everything appeared to be finalized and approved. However, five days later, he received a call informing him that the bank had not approved the financing and that he needed to return the vehicle. This situation was extremely stressful and disappointing for our family. Delivering a vehicle without having final bank approval creates false expectations and unnecessary uncertainty. A purchase of this magnitude requires transparency, organization, and clear communication from the beginning. We felt that the financing process was not clearly explained, and the status of the loan was not properly confirmed before handing over the car. For these reasons, I do not recommend this dealership. I strongly advise future buyers to ensure that financing is fully approved before leaving the lot with a vehicle. read more

I recently visited multiple dealerships for brands from Honda to Mazda. I was on my way to another dealership and thought I would stop in Mazda, I had seen an advertisement for a car that was of interest on my list of desirable cars. I had the ad in hand and test drove a CX-30 with my husband. We hadn't been looking for this car but liked it and wanted numbers based off the ad--we test drove the exact vehicle listed in the ad. With a stated down payment the monthly lease offer was $279.13. The number that came back for an offer when we got onsite was well over $400 (I recall the higher end like $450 or $475. When I called them out on it, they came back with the poor and sorry excuse that the ad was incorrectly input with inaccurate data. Later it magically came down to $310 but with $1000 more than the down payment in the ad. Cardinale is know for this kind of stuff... I read it later in similar types of reviews and stories. I turned around within two days and signed for the exact same Mazda model, color, and upgrades with Findlay Mazda who were wonderful. I also paid less down than the Cardinale ad and got in the payment realm I wanted. Findlay and I reached a mutually acceptable deal. I would never do business with the snaky Cardinale dealership who feel unethical. There are laws about deceitful advertising that they should study up on. read more

This is for the service department and also for Matt the service advisor specifically. When I say they saved my car and my sanity I mean it literally. Let me explain: (TL:DR Matt and the service department went above and beyond when the other Mazda dealership and two other mechanics messed up my car and couldn't figure out what they did wrong.) I had started with CardinaleWay servicing my Mazda and then switched to servicing my car at the other Mazda dealership in town cause it was closer to my house, I thought they were the same, they are NOT. Where the other dealership was pushy, rude, flippant, and deflective, Matt and CardinaleWay Mazda have been kind, knowledgeable, and have gone above and beyond to help figure out my car's problem. I had my car repaired at another dealership and immediately the A/C stopped working, they denied it was their fault and so I found an A/C specialist to try and repair it. They swapped out some A/C parts and STILL couldn't figure out what was wrong. The other mechanic also replaced some engine mounts and rotors and my car drove HORRIBLY afterwards. I came back to CardinaleWay and explained to Matt what had happened and he personally made sure the car was thoroughly inspected. Unfortunately I had to have the engine mounts and rotors redone because the other mechanic had done them incorrectly. BUT Matt and CardinaleWay Mazda were able to diagnosis and figure out what one dealership, and four other mechanics couldn't... why my A/C was not working and the pressure in my car system was sky high. After months of going back and forth and going crazy trying to get this car working again, Matt and CardinaleWay were able to deliver me back my car driving better than it ever has before. I couldn't be more grateful. He really took this issue personally and that meant so much to me. I won't be getting my car serviced anywhere else from now on. read more

I recently purchased vehicles from CardinaleWay Mazda Las Vegas as a long-time returning Mazda customer. Unfortunately, this was a disappointing experience. The transaction included significant aftermarket add-ons -- including ResistAll protection, wheel locks, and window tint -- adding up to thousands of dollars. The documentation fee was $999.50, which is approximately double what I paid in prior vehicle purchases. Starting negotiations with thousands of dollars in add-ons makes the process unnecessarily time-consuming and exhausting. As a customer who has owned and serviced multiple Mazdas over the years, I expected transparency, and straightforward pricing. That was not my experience this time, and I am left feeling frustrated and disappointed. Bought a car here on the 28th of October. It's a 2016 Subaru Forester for my daughter. The key got stuck in the ignition so I took it to the Subaru dealership. What the heck happened to this place? It was 5 stars last time I reviewed it. Today, we brought in my son's Mazda 3. It was broken into overnight, and he wanted to get the window fixed asap but also needed an oil change. The dealership gave us the run around about whether or not they could fix the window. And even when asked outright, they gave a vague answer. We opted for just the oil change once they disclosed it would cost $600 to fix the window. My son is a college student and would be better off going to Safelite for $100 window replacement. And unlike the Mazda dealership in Newark (CA), we frequent; they didn't wash and vacuum his car as a part of the service we paid for. The very least they could have done was vacuum the broken glass for safety, as a courtesy. Customer service is severely lacking here, and I can't wait to get the customer survey that they send and tell them that. read more

This review is mainly for the service department. O.M.G. this place is super chill compared to what I had to deal with at Toyota and Honda in the past! My appointment was scheduled an hour after opening, so I may have avoided the rush if there was one. An employee came out to greet me, noted some stuff on a clipboard and then I went inside to the waiting area. Nick was my service advisor who explained everything and said he would let me know when my car was done. Good things about the service department here: -Not overcrowded and less stressful. I hated taking my car in for service at Toyota because there were always so many people, no matter what day it was. -Looks like they only have four service advisors. I'm normally used to seeing like 20 names/desks and having to change service advisors every year. Hopefully, that won't happen here. -Shorter wait time overall. I remember having to wait at Toyota for 3 hours once just for an oil change because they were short staffed. It's annoying when you have no idea how long the service is going to take. So happy that I only waited an hour here! -Clean waiting area. Issues I had with the dealership overall: -I created an online account to schedule and keep track of my service appointments. Once I did that, I received NONSTOP spam calls, texts and emails about buying a new car. I replied to one of the texts stating that I had no interest in buying a new vehicle and explained that the purpose of me creating an account was for service appointments only. After that, I still received another call, email and text until it finally stopped. Sorry, but your sales people need to calm the F down! -For some reason, I was also included on emails to another customer regarding their interest in buying a vehicle. Stay Away from This Dealership! Total Scam. They pressured me into signing the sales contract by saying, "If you buy today, we'll give you a $1,000 discount!" I noticed right away that the numbers didn't add up no matter how I calculated the interest rate they gave me. They didn't give me any of the paperwork I signed, saying "You'll receive it in the mail within two weeks; you can check everything then," and sent me home. I didn't even get the car until three days later -- and when I did, it already had issues. I'm convinced they fixed something quickly and tried to hide it before handing it over. The same problem has been happening ever since. When I took it to the service department, they gave me one ridiculous excuse after another. First, they said the battery was weak, which was causing the issue. I told them, "Didn't you say the car went through a 160-point inspection just last week? You didn't notice a weak battery then?" They immediately changed the story and said, "Oh, actually, it's because you left the headlights on auto." I said, "You just told me it was the battery!" Two weeks later, I still hadn't received any documents, so I went back to the dealership. Another employee there told me that Kevin, the guy who sold me the car, made a mistake and should have given me the papers right away. After keeping me waiting for a while, they finally brought the paperwork -- and guess what? They had added an extra $5,000 warranty package to my contract without my permission! I told them I never agreed to that -- in fact, I had specifically said I didn't want any extra warranties. They said, "Oh, but this extends your warranty to seven years." It sounded reasonable at first, so I said okay and went home. Later, when I reviewed the papers carefully, I discovered the warranty was only extended by one year, not seven! The next day, I went back and showed them the proof. They said, "We can cancel it if you want." I said, "Of course cancel it -- you told me it was seven years!" Then another salesperson came and told me to wait a few minutes. After waiting for half an hour, I asked the receptionist how much longer it would take. Suddenly, Francisco -- the guy who had originally told me the 7-year lie -- came out angrily and raised his voice, saying, "If you don't like it, you can leave. Either wait or go!" I've never experienced such unprofessional and disrespectful behavior in my life. After almost two months of back-and-forth, I finally got my money back -- but I deeply regret ever dealing with them. I've already stopped three friends from buying a car there, and I'll make sure to tell everyone I know: stay far away from this dealership! Also, that so-called $1,000 discount they promised? It never appeared anywhere in the paperwork. When I asked about it, they claimed the amount was "used up" by the multiple credit inquiries they made on my behalf. And one more thing -- on my first visit, Anna Marie told us not to buy a Kia because "their insurance rates are super high, around $600-$700 since they're easy to steal." Well, guess what? We bought a Kia anyway, and our insurance is only $200 a month! Another complete lie. This dealership is full of dishonesty, deception, and false promises from start to finish. I purchased a new car from CardinaleWay Mazda and later found out they added $4000 over the agreed upon sale price of the car. The manager looked me in the eye and shook my hand to an agreed price of $37,000. They used an electronic system to sign everything and did not show me the price breakdown. They did not give me paper copies of the contract only a USB. I didn't realize the price difference until I got the email about the registration of the car referencing the sale price of $41,000. I immediately looked at the documents on the USB, and sure enough, they increased the agreed upon price by $4000! I called and emailed them (even their store manager) asking for an explanation/solution, in writing, and have received nothing. I realize that I'm ultimately responsible and signed the contract, but, really? This is just straight-up deceptive. Stay far away from this dealer. I will never return to this store and certainly never recommend them to anyone. read more

This was my very first time visiting a Mazda dealership, and unfortunately, it turned into one of the most disappointing car-shopping experiences I've ever had. When I arrived, I was greeted by Zack, who was professional, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. He took the time to show me several CX-90 models, explained the trims and options in detail, and asked all the right questions to put together a deal that could work for my family. Up to that point, I felt very positive and excited about the process. After about 35-45 minutes, another individual named Decker came in to "close" the deal, and that's where everything went downhill. Instead of walking me through the numbers, his approach was abrupt and hostile. He simply presented a very high down payment (Respectfully not going to disclose $$) and monthly number/s so unrealistic I could have leased a high spec BMW X7 for that price, and then sat back in silence, waiting for my response. My response was, absolutely NOT! And when I asked if this was a joke, he coldly replied, "These are the numbers we are looking at." I told him that not only were the numbers offensive, but his approach was as well. His answer? "That's the way I do business." What followed was nearly ten minutes of going back and forth with him, the longest ten minutes I can remember in any sales experience. He spoke to me rudely, without empathy, and even attempted to lecture me on sales after I mentioned that I work in sales myself. There was no apology, no explanation, and no effort to de-escalate the situation. By that point, I was so offended and disappointed that I asked for my keys back and left. To their credit, Zack and a few other team members apologized for how things were handled, but the damage had already been done. I want to be clear, I'm not criticizing the Mazda brand or even the dealership as a whole. This review is about one individual whose approach completely ruined what should have been an exciting moment for me and my growing family. I walked in happy and optimistic, ready to buy.
