Yet again...I am just blown away with the outstanding customer service Paige and her team provided me! I called to explain what was going on with my car. I would not go here. They tried quoting my old mother in law 999 bucks for an alignment and some BS camera reset. The camera reset is a VW design issue that seems forced upon the owner (alignment goes out, now you need a camera reset for 1k) . The problem is, that cost for the alignment and sensor reset is 500-700 everywhere else. When I called and questioned Bailee the service guy that helped my old mother in law. He straight up LIED to my face over the phone and told me and my wife who was also on the line that the reset takes 7-8 hours to do and that he was doing me a favor at 999. Its 524-699 at the 3 other dealers I called! So I called the service manager Paige. I explain this and ask why would I want to pay you 999 when its 524-699 elsewhere? "That's a good question." Unreal. No offer to match. No, Im sorry my rep up sold you on time for the service. She dont give a crap. You can tell right off the start. So I paid the bogus 200 bucks to get the car back and will be taking it to a honest (at least a better one that this!) dealership. I suggest anyone going here for service to go elsewhere. OR at least check with other dealers on the cost of service you need. These guys tried to totally over change an old lady. And dont let them try and scare you with the, oh we charge more for better mechanics. These guys are privately owned. So VW cant do much to help you with these people if things go wrong. If you have purchased a CPO Vehicle beware! I believe they falsify their certification inspection! I purchased a vehicle from them in October and I had a horrible experience. I put a up a review and took it down realizing maybe I just had buyers remorse. Well I DID . . . I just didn't know why. Now I know why. They totally scammed me! They sold me a "certified pre-owned" vehicle with a dent in the hood, scratched rims, worn front tires, rear tire had a gouge in it, and the inside console was broken and the car was filthy! The first shame on you is on me. I purchased the car at night so I didn't see some of these things except the dent on the hood. They did promise to fix that dent but that was another nightmare that I had to battle them with. Finally got the bumper and console replaced. I realized how bald my tires are. I have put 10,000 miles on them but it just made me realize how bald the tires were when I bought them . . . Which then made me cringe at the rims. Yesterday when I was coming to a slow, my brakes started squeaking. I will now need new brakes. I shouldn't need new brakes and tires with a CPO vehicle. Maaaaaybe the tires I can see but I feel that an ethical dealer should have replaced them. I know people threaten this often, but I will be taking legal action against them. Hopefully I was the only person that they scammed, but the truth will come out. read more

Bought a car there 3/25.. Drove it home. A couple of days later, I opened the trunk, and glass was all over. I cleaned it, and more glass shows up. Glass was stuck on the back of the rear seats. A chip was on the bumper. Called the dealership to see if they could assist me with that and let me know what the cause for the glass and if they could patch up the chip. The response was that they could vacuum the glass, and they could do nothing about the chip. That I should take it to a Honda dealer and tell them that I owned the car for a while and the paint started chipping off. Great Customer Service to Management. This dealership is terrible. They have all sorts of fees for things you don't need and state that you can't waive them because they are already equipped on the car like nitrogen air for tires (which Costco does for free), some bs about vehicle theft detection, and door handle and guards to prevent scratching which they charge $500 for but you can buy for like $25. I wanted to get my car in and out and ended up paying for the fees because I didn't want to haggle. Here's the kicker, they say it's already installed so you can't waive it but mine didn't even have the products!! Just straight fraudulent. Do yourself a favor and go to Norm Reeves or Garden Grove if you want a VW. And make sure you Yelp before you waste your time. Had I known, I would never have bothered going. The worst experience at a dealer. I really hope Tesla paves the way and makes scammers like this place irrelevant. This is truly a dealership that lives up to all the negative stereotypes. So earlier today I went to a dealer in Huntington Beach to get the same car (2017 VW Jetta), despite the slightly higher price I'd have to pay because the dealer I was working with was pretty chill when I went in for a test drive earlier that week. Long story short, they RAISED the price by $10k because they wanted all of my pre-approved loan. Obviously didn't go with the Huntington Beach Dealer. Fast forward to later that day to THIS dealership, and I'm friggin FLOORED by the PROFESSIONALISM, INTEGRITY, & SERVICE! I was helped by Mike Perez, and he was fantastic as I stated above. If you are looking for the epitome of scummy salesman tactics, this is your dealership. Called to see if they would bet a deal I had at another dealership. I was advised over the phone by the salesman David that not only could they match, but he could guarantee they would bet the deal. All I had to do was get it in writing. So I got the deal negotiations in writing via text and email. Get to Corona dealership to not only be told they cannot match but I should of taken that offer. I specifically asked for numbers over the phone and they reassured me they could match no problem all I had to do was be in person and have it in writing. Next thing I know, they start saying well we need a VIN and it needs to be on letterhead. Completely unprofessional, my time is valuable and I don't appreciate the lack of disrespect and disregard for it. Purchased my first used car from there on April 30, 2023 and since the day I bought it I've had issues with the car and dealership. The dealership treated me good with the whole purchasing process but they also threw in a ton of non negotiable add ons into the initial contract. The same day I drove the car off the lot it threw up 5 dashboard lights indicating something malfunctioned so I took the car back in the next morning. I got the car back a week later but month later they called me backed telling me we have to re do contacts. Mind you prior to this call I had contacted them weeks in advance trying to see where I can make my first car payment and when they called me they said they had bin trying to reach me for awhile about my loan. I went to go re do new contracts with the finance manager who's in charge of all of the CardinaleWay dealerships about a 6 weeks after I purchased the car. They asked for a down payment to cover for the new contract that would be equivalent to the first months monthly note. I didn't want to argue or hassle with them because it had already bin the 4 time visiting the dealer ship in less than 2 months. The new contracts were in my benefit because I wasn't approved for a bigger loan. I got lucky but I'm still not extremely satisfied with how they up charged the car and everything they could. I haven't paid a dime in repairs because of warranty so they have also been very cooperative. read more

Terrible and felt shady. Went with a young adult family friend to help her purchase her first car. They asked her all her info to get pricing, name, email phone # then asked her sign the paper Saying something like to confirm info correct. I stopped it right there snatched that paper and saw where she signed said something like by signing I agree to purchase and take delivery today. I scribbled her signature all out, it had no price, no #'s on the paper. That was a Huge red flag. Few minutes later they bring the "offer" claiming how good they were at anticipating stock blah blah and one with 100k extra extended Warrenty etc and here's the price. It was the sticker price PLUS another mystery's $1400+ added dealer fee below + tax and all that. I asked what's this and they said it's dealer something, we promptly got up and left this shady dealer. I originally found a car at this dealership online. When I arrived to look at the vehicle it was ready for a test drive. The salesman, David was a fantastic. Even though he had a lot of other customers he was juggling for sales he still gave me the attention of the time and answers to my questions. During the purchase of this vehicle the finance manager, Chris was amazing as well. Any questions I had he took the time to thoroughly explain and answer my questions. I called on 11/19 to make an appointment for a transmission diagnostic for 11/25. When I showed up for the appointment I was told they were short on technicians that could perform that diagnostic and said I would likely need to leave the car all day and potentially overnight to get an answer. When I made the appointment I told Paige that I needed the car back same day because I had work later, that's why I picked the 8am appointment time. Paige let me know it was typically about 2 hours to start and based off what they find the time will vary. Why I was able to make the appointment if they knew they were short on technicians that do that specific diagnostic? And if it was a staffing issue or call outs, I should have been contacted and asked to reschedule prior to my appointment. But instead I packed my 14 month old in the car and drove down to be told they might not be able to get me an answer until the next day because they were short staffed. I'm really frustrated in the complete lack of respect of my time today. Additionally, I'm disappointed that I tried to stay loyal to the dealership when I probably would have had this issue resolved last weekend somewhere else had they just been honest about not having a technician available. read more

They'll happily help you buy a car but when it comes to fulfilling their part of the contract, it is like pulling teeth and all these excuses come up as to why it isn't done. When I purchased the car, the agreement was for them to fix the bumper part but they only fixed half of the bumper and not the plastic part. I had to go in a second time for them to fix the plastic part of the bumper. I wanted to add to this review . I want to make sure that people don't shop here . Their GM is totally unprofessional. I received a call from their finance Dpt since the bank that financed the car declined to take the loan . I was then told to take the car in so the contract could be canceled. When I got to the dealership the Finance DPT tried to give me a different interest rate and payment amount under a different bank . I refused the new rate and payments . After that we then signed a termination of contract I was given a copy of that termination . The finance lady then stated she would go talk to her GM to finalize the termination . When the lady got back she stated out of nowhere that I could not terminate the deal . I was blindsided since a few mins before that we had already signed the paper work terminating the deal. For some reason the dealer kept running my credit without my consent and tried getting me to sign another deal I declined. When I divided to leave the dealership the GM threatened to call the police if I left with the Copy of termination that was given to me by the finance lady . Basically this place was forcing me to buy there car under there terms I explained to the GM I would complain and he stated his words" That's fine that won't do anything " This place is a total joke . I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and also will be reporting to the credit bureau as my credit was ran without my consent I will be reporting this as fraud since no consent was given to the dealer . Who ever reads this review DO NOT BUY from here WORST Dealer around riverside county . Go to the Murrieta VW instead I would give it 0 stars but it would not allow me . This dealership has forever lost any business they may have gotten from me. I wanted to see a Tiguan in person. Immediately upon walking up to the Tiguans I was approached by a salesperson, Maria, maybe. She had a pretty full sleeve of tattoos on her left arm. Anyway, she introduced herself and asked me what I was looking for. I politely said I was just on my break and just wanted to look at some cars. I tried to explain that I wasn't seriously looking, but she kept hitting me with typical questions like where do you work, what do you do, she was asking questions almost as if I had to justify my presence on the lot. I finally said I m just killing time, and her response to me was shocking; "Why couldn't you just kill time on the Mazda lot". At that point I lost any interest in this dealership. I said I guess I will go to Mazda, and walked away, while she watched. I've never been interrogated like this just for looking at a car. In this age of internet sales, this attitude is totally unacceptable and will lead to failure. So I decided to check out the VW Atlas and Tiguan. They are similar to the Audi Q7 and Q5, respectively. The salesman tells me I don't want a Tiguan because it is too small. Well, sir, I drove a Q5. I fit good in it. So he gets the keys for both models. They are ok aesthetically ok too me. I decide to drive the Atlas first. Turn on the car, and it flashes low fuel. I say we need gas as it is just by the E. He says we are good because we should have enough for the test drive. You can guess where this is going. We take off. It is going ok. Trying to get the vibe for it. 2 miles into the drive, the car shuts down because? Ding Ding Ding! Out of gas! So I'm kindda done at this moment. Ok, it happens, let's not be too hasty. He goes to call the dealership, and come to find out, he forgets his phone at the dealership. Damn, is this fun or what!? So they come pick us up. When we get back to the dealership, he opens the Tiguan for me to look at. Then, he tells me he has to go get the other car before they tow it. So what is the best thing to do at this moment? Either have another person come out to help me, or, send someone else to get the car and you stay with me. Annnnd......neither one happens. He gets in the car and takes off and I am left to myself with no one to talk to. Not a fun way to end the day for sure. Oh well, there are other SUV's out there. read more

Update - The message of concern from manager posted on my review appeared to be sincere. Unfortunately, I sent 2 emails to the listed contact WITH NO RESPONSE. In addition, they listed the wrong lien holder on my registration, causing me hours of work to fix through the DMV. AND, the failed to pay the amount they stated they were going to for my trade in, and the excess deposited with my bank would be mine. Instead, they paid the exact amount still owed on loan, and made me call a half dozen times begging for the money still due to me. Every time I called, there was always an excuse. Good news is they did give me the money finally, but not after 6 calls, several hours, and another lie on what they "said" was going to happen. Just wanted to make you aware, lots of places to buy a car. I have purchased over a dozen new cars in my lifetime. NEVER have I experience anything as deceptive and sneaky as this. Not even close. Great experience purchasing a Jetta for my daughter! Dylan met me at the door, and walked us through the entire transaction. I didn't feel "sold" at all. Contrary to other experiences, I didn't feel pressured at any time. Dylan was more of a consultant than sales person. Even the financing part of the transaction was relatively quick and painless. Highly recommend people to check this dealership's listing clearly if you are looking for a used vehicle. I drove all the way from Los Angeles to Corona because I though I found a great deal. When we about to close the deal there extra charge of $995 for some useless protection package and accessories dealership have installed on the vehicle. And this is NOT removable. They explained there is a statement on their listing which say " price do not include dealer installed accessories" so the price you see on the listing will not be the final price. The sales offer a $150 discount on the " accessories package" after we bargain for a while. So instead of paying $8k for the used car , i end up paying $845 more for these non optional package. At the end I still got the car because I really needed a car for daily transit. :( read more
